Wishing I had done more research
I should have been suspicious when the crew showed up late on a rainy day with an unmarked truck that had a HOLE IN THE ROOF! I had to ask the foreman 3 times to do something about the water pouring in into my household goods. Overall the young men who loaded our stuff were respectful and careful. But clearly when my stuff was unloaded at the warehouse none of the wet blankets were removed because now I have water damaged antique wood furniture. Then there's the gross underestimation of the cost. In years past moving company's would send someone out to look at your stuff before giving an estimate. At least Rob had me send a video of the house,unlike some of the other companies. But in the end after the truck was completely loaded there was still large pieces of furniture that they wanted to charge another $3400 to come back and get. Instead,I had to rent a uhaul with a car tow on back,self load the remaining items and then tow our pick up truck from ATL to Shreveport. Needless to say I don't recommend this company. Looking back I would have had them unload my stuff when I noticed the hole in the roof of the truck with rain pouring in. It may have been worth it to cut my losses right there.

Worst experience ever
Stay away... I didn’t want to submit a review but they left me no choice. Their job in moving my stuff from NJ to TX was a disaster. The initial quote could bit the competitors, but such a bad mistake I made in choosing them. The truck which came wasn’t theirs. The guys who picked up my stuff looked friendly at the beginning but at the end... they charged me 142% more than the quote and said if I don’t pay it, then they will unload the truck and I must pay them 50% if the job. They knew I had a flight to TX the day after pickup and I have no choice to accept... they asked me $100 tip per worker otherwise they put the number such that I had to pay more than double the quote. Never mind. I accepted as I had no choice. Then on the return side, the truck wasn’t theirs, not only they delayed two weeks but also they broke many things, lots of our china, the boxes were torn apart(heavy duty boxes from home depot!!!) every box had something smashed! 10 boxes lost, coolers lost. The rocking chair, book shelf and many others broken. Such a nightmare... the worst experience of my life wih such a huge payment... don’t hire them for a big move. Then they told me no worries, just submit the claim through a 3rd party and we’ll take care of it. Lots of forms. Total losses $2600. What they returns with?! $76. Ridiculous!!!! I didn’t accept and contacted the main sale person. No response ever after! I wish I had rented a truck and drove all the way down to TX. Less expensive, piece of mind, no delivery delay. No smashed boxes. You could their workers didn’t give a damn to customers belongings the way they treated with the furnitures and boxes.
