BUYERS BE WARNED! We went with Wrightway after they received a glowing rating on Angie ' s List. After all 800+ customers can't go wrong, right? They offered a $275 coupon for a 24ft truck with a three man crew for three hours. When we called to schedule an appointment, we were told there would be a $65 service charge plus an extra $200 to move "speciality items", namely 2 pianos and a pool table. I asked them about these fees, since the company made the coupon seem all inclusive. They told me that's what they charge. What can you do? We sucked it up and allowed them to come believing it wouldn't take 3 guys more than 3 hours to move a 2000sqft one story home, thirty minutes away since we had gotten rid of most of our furniture and everything else was 99% boxed. They waddled in and said that they don't pack anything, uninstall anything, will not move any boxes that are open, and will not reinstall anything, though all of this was a service they claimed to offer on their Angies List site. They commenced to move so SLOWLY that what was supposed to take no more than 3 hours and a 24 ft truck stretched into 7 hours. And, of course, they charged $130 for each additional hour. They took FOUR hours just to load the truck, and finished just in time to hit rush hour traffic, thus costing us more money. They were so slow and inefficient that we had to get them to bring a second truck with new crew. They mostly spent their time joking and laughing with each. That, and remembering every so often that they had a job to do. They finally loaded the truck and announced they were getting dinner. They left behind so much trash in my old house that I actually took pictures because I just couldn't believe it. To make matters worse, when the trucks left, they didn't even move everything!!!! It took me three more trips in my SUV, to get everything moved after we had paid them $850. Moving is never any fun, but this company made it a horrible experience. It's truly outrageous that this is how they run their company. Save your money AND your time and go with a moving company more reputable. We wish we had! Read more
