The Worst Company Ever

This company is full of incompetence. They doubled my quote when they got to my place and were over a month late in delivering my belongings. When I called (many, many times over the month they were late) No one could tell me ANYTHING about my stuff. Then the delivery driver told me they would be delivering my stuff the next day - I took off work so they could deliver - they did not show up. They called me the next day at around 8pm and asked me to drive them around the neighborhood… Who does that?? I don't work for 24Hours Moving. I paid for a service. The driver cussed at and threatened me with keeping my stuff and said he “would slap me with a ton of fees.” I then contacted the moving company - which they didn't get back with me until late the next day, stating that the whole situation was my fault. They then charged me almost $1,000 over the original price and told me they would hold my belongings hostage until I paid them. They then tried to not assemble the items they were supposed to and several boxes were missing. This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with and hope no one else has to go through what they did to me!!

Worst moving experience ever! I'll ...

They were late on pickup and when they came to pickup, they came with a super, super sized truck and tried to charge me for that. So when I refused to pay, they gave me a separate day when I could have a pickup. They called me the day before to say I had to switch my day and unfortunately now I was late on the pickup. Though they promised me they were going to get my stuff to me by a certain date, it was more like a week and a half after that I got my stuff.

The Worst Experience of my Life with a ...

I have been moving several times and I have the worst experience of my life with 24hours moving. Everything started when a nice guy (at least when talking by phone), whom name is Gabriel, he let me know that 24hoursmoving people were very professional. He asked me for the size of my house and addresses to pick up and deliver. I let him know that my house was 4 Bedrooms and the moving was from Katy Texas to Weston Florida. On June 22nd 2015 he sent me a quote for 1770$ (for 590 cf). I called him and asked him how he calculate the volume and he let me know that it was an estimate, but he asked me to fill out a form with the list of articles. This list was very simple to fill out and it did not include details about volume, only name of parts. I filled out the form as instructed and send it back to Gabriel. On July 6th 2015, he send an estimate based on my list and the amount was $7727.20 (close to 1908 lbs), including packing services, I thought it was a little be expensive, but because of my wife’s health, I decided to accept the price to proceed with the move. They asked for 10% in advance which I paid ($772.72) and they asked to sign all kind of papers (contract, estimated and credit card authorization). The day of the move, July 28th: the driver (Jesus) with three other guys arrived late in the morning (10:30 am). The driver was very arrogant and nasty with my wife, they proceed to do their own estimate (you can imagine the same day of the moving), when he finished, he let my wife knows that I did not know how to do an estimate, that the chairs were too big and also the sofa and so on, but I let him know that the list that I received did not include the sizes, the list only include, for example: number of dining chairs, there were no option to select big or small chairs. He let me know that the new amount that I have to pay was $12700, YOU CAN IMAGINE? FROM $7727 TO $12700 (64% more that the initial estimate). I did not accept the new price and one of the Manager from 24hoursmoving called me from their office (I think the name is Cynthia), she was also very arrogant and she let me know that I was the one that commit the mistake with the estimate, I told her if they know that people like me are not good doing estimates, why they did not send someone to my house to validate my estimate before the moving take place. She told me that they were located in Dallas and I was in Katy and that was too far away. She let me know that if I did not accept the new price, I have to pay them the following: travel time of the employees, 300$ penalty and the gas that they use. She also recommended me to leave some of the furniture in my house and upload in the truck the most important items. I talked to my wife and when she asked the driver (Jesus) to recalculate the volume with the most important items, he refused to do that and he left. Five minutes later, 24hours moving charged me $567.15 in my credit card without any explanation. When I add this amount (567.1

It started out pretty well and I feel like they did a good job packing up our things, however, the estimate that we received, we ended up paying about 2-3,000 more than that. So that was very frustrating. ...When things were delivered there were quite a few things that were damaged. ...So it started out seeming really well and ended up not being so great.

No problems with them!

It was good, I didn't have any problems with them. They came picked up my stuff and drove up to Ohio and dropped my stuff off there!

Clean people!

The weather did not permit a pleasant moving condition but their team was very ready on every angle. No single furniture was soaked or wet when it gets in my house. They respected my home which is carpeted by topping it with pads so no dirt or mad sticks to it. They finished fast and left with no damage or dirty walls, floor and they even took the thrash with them. They were also very respectful to me and my teenage girls. I am definitely recommending you! You work so professional. Great job.

Delivery driver was rude and one of my ...

The crew who picked up my stuff they were very good, they were kind. I don't have issues with them. ... The delivery driver was very rude. He doesn't want to talk anything. He was talking very rude. One of my furniture got broke down. He basically said, "I'm not responsible. You contact your mover." So the main thing with the behavior is very bad. I'm paying too much to expect them to behave like that.

Never Again

We hired this company based on their assurance our belongings would most likely be delivered within three to five days. It is now twelve days later, and still no delivery. Mary, the dispatcher, fed us some story about the truck breaking down somewhere, but didn't say where. She then told us we would have a delivery on April 16th. Mary also told us she texted the driver twice to give us a call, which never happened. Then she told us "the truck was in our neck of the woods." That was two days ago, and still no call and no delivery. Then Mary told us we would have delivery either late today (April 17) or early tomorrow. I attempted to call Mary on April 16 before close of business asking why we still never got that phone call from the driver, and wanted to know an exact day we would have our delivery. She didn't answer so I left a message. Of course, my call was never returned. Evidently the truck has been in my neck of the woods now for two days! And still, no phone call from the driver. Incredible how companies like this stay in existence, as they have no clue about good customer service, and don't seem to care. I posted a review on the Dallas BBB web site, and awaiting a response from 24 Hour Moving. Our belongings are out there somewhere, and we don't have a clue exactly where. I only wish I researched this company more before hiring them. But I can assure you I will never hire them again.

A lot of my things were broken because ...

I had a lot of stuff that was broken. I could tell that they threw boxes around ... a lot of the boxes were dented in on the sides or smushed on the bottom. Furniture was broken. It was just bad.

Great Handling!

My review will be brief and this was my great moving experience I had with 24 Hours Moving Inc. The move was positively done by Mike and his team on the pick up and I am so impressed how fast they finished packing everything. At first,I doubted that fast packing was securely done but was proven they were just great on their field when I had the precious property in outstanding condition. I guarantee this moving company no matter what. They were great.

Treated me as a greatly appreciated ...

My exhaustion on thorough search for a moving company had me consider a company which I never looked up the background but I changed my mind once I learned about 24 Hours Moving from my neighbor whom said she moved her mother to Phoenix and they were very satisfied with the move. I asked her who is their mover and she mentioned 24 Hours Moving Inc. This in fact, was a great move on my part because 24 Hours Moving Inc treated me as a greatly appreciated customer and was very transparent to me on everything. Showed me their paperwork and their charges was divided accordingly to different parts of moving. So technically I know what I am paying for. They were also great in action not only with words. Whatever they made as an agreement to me they noted them and was actually accomplished. Overall, they were very good and they knew how to take care my property. They knew what they were doing and I've seen them professionally do the job. I am gonna tell my friends about them so to help them decide hire the perfect mover.

Complete Scam, saw it coming

First estimate was 1200.00 2nd estimate was 2300.00 Which I responded with an email it was incorrect. I offered a Video many times because I expressed my concern of the estimate. I also sent them a notice I cannot pay more than the 2300.00 …..I knew in the first 10 seconds of the driver walking in my door, what he was about to do. 1400 cubic ft, in reality it was 1000. Driver refused to load the truck to 775 cubic ft because he didn't want to take the blame for items left behind. I asked them to leave, him and his crew stayed for another 30 minutes after being asket to leave several times. Now they kept my deposit, and charged me additional money. This has to be criminal. All i wanted was my deposit back. Not to mention I'm now A week late to work. SCAM be prepaired, I was and it didn't matter. A refrigerator has to be in a box? I sure didn't read that anywhere.

Small job but taken care off!

Hi my name is Rebecca. I was a customer of 24 Hours Moving Inc. They picked up my boxes 2nd week of February. But upon our conversation they reiterate that they can't accomplish the 14 days delivery period I was requesting because of worsting weather in east coast. I technically understood where they were getting it but still decided to go ahead and hire them for my move. To my surprise They've been able to deliver my boxes exactly fifteen days. Prior to the delivery I was worried that I won't be able to get my boxes in good condition because I packed the boxes myself and I did not fill it up to the top, thus making them not so sturdy. So when I had them no scratches or tear in any sides. I guess its in the manner on how they stacked it inside their truck. They know how to do it in a way that it is well protected. That's what I call a professional moving company. They knew how to do everything. Great work 24 Hours Moving Inc. Til we see each other again.

It was a good experience, just a ...

It was a good experience. They delivered it on the 14th day, which was a little longer than I anticipated - the 14th business day, sorry - it was really more like 18 days total. But they said that they had trucks that were slowed down by the winter weather, so that delayed my furniture getting there. But it did get there within the 14 business days and it was in good condition and everything.

I highly recommend this moving ...

I am making this review to personally thank the people of this moving company who despite the severe weather conditions in New York pushed themselves to be able to deliver my furniture on time. It's a freezing 20 degree F and the snow is so thick and this was going on for days. I thought the delivery would be delayed because of the weather situation but I was wrong. They called us two days after we've been hit by a severe snow storm that they were on their way to deliver the furniture the next day. I was surprised but did not questioned them. Anyways that is what I wanted. Then they arrived, the driver had one guy with him to hep with the job. He tried to get more help from local labor companies but nobody wanted to work. So through the cold freezing weather they both worked hard and managed to finish in six hours. Because of their dedication to their job I gave them a good monetary tip. They both deserve it and they were good people too. I highly recommend this moving company.

Very organized and polite!

I was never new to moving but what I can tell everyone is, its is really hard to find the sober once. Most movers were tricky. I was surprised when I started working with 24 Hours Moving few weeks ago because they were not the typical Nice-when-they-want-your money-but-rude-when-they-have-your-stuff moving company. They were different and very organized. They were also perfect in communication because they stayed in touch with me when my property is on the road. Their people were very polite and very witty. Most of all they handled everything as fragile as possible. Ending, our new house was furnished in just 3 weeks because of their prompt delivery. Hats off to the good job 24 Hours Moving INc

Great work, Great handling, Great ...

First of all I would like to assure people that this review is real and genuine. Message me if you need proof. To start up, the moving company 24 Hours Moving Inc was our company's mover 2010 when we locally moved to another building. They did a very good job, so I hired them, this time to move me to Utah for a new job. They packed the whole one floor, two bedroom house and ended the move day pleasantly. Two weeks later I receive a call from their customer associate that my shipment is on the way. So I get ready to receive it. A day before the delivery date, the driver politely called me and informed me of the time they will arrive. Three uniformed well built guys arrived and did the packing and unpacking, disassembling and assembling. Each has designated role on the unloading which made the delivery fast and when I examined my furniture and electronics nothing was damaged. As I expected this move ended with flying colors, thanks to the team of 24 Hours Moving. Great!

Small move!

I had a brief but concise move and it was the best so far. I never had issues dealing with 24 Hours Moving people. They were never rude when I kept calling them for status and they have answers for me. It did not take that long for my valuable items to be delivered and it was in great in condition. The affordable price was also a big bonus to me because no other moving company offered better than what 24 Hours Moving gave. Great job.

Can move most that you ask them!

I am a flower breeder in California and my line of specialty are Orchids. I moved out of California for financial reasons and rented a house close to my parents in Grapevine, Texas. I moved out of CA and planned to start my own flower nursery and I needed to transport the current breed I have back from CA. I was informed by other moving companies whom I hired that its hard to transport plants and livestock because there were restrictions on different states and there will be too much paperwork to do before we can start. I was about to loose hope when my mom mentioned to me 24 Hours Moving who was her mover locally. She was pretty proud of them actually. She gave me their contact information and I inquired immediately. They were the only once who accepted my shipment and was able to hand me necessary documents to complete before they can have me transport the flower breeds included in my shipment. Since I have a mixture of both live plants and furniture they also recommended to me to crate the plants for added security. It will cost me more but the safety of the plants was all I was thinking so I added the crates. I just had my delivery three days ago and I could never be happier. All of my belongings were in great condition and looked untouched. I would definitely spread the good words about them just like my mom did. Great work 24 Hours Moving.

Compliment!

I definitely did not expect to have a great outcome after all my past experiences with some other moving companies.I talked to them about my prerequisites on the move and what are the actual items that's included on my move and I actually got the answer I needed and the phone conversation ended very pleasantly.I needed to move a medium size house whom resided by a family of four with three pet cats and a dog. Most of the furniture have some cat or dog fur but they don't mind the mess. Even the head guy on the delivery although allergic to the cats fur make a way to get rid of his allergy symptoms and worked normally throughout the delivery day. So basically beside that they were very patient and very customer oriented they were also reliable. They were careful and they move fast, with ease and handled everything well. To end it up, my family's move via 24 Hours Moving Inc was very positive. Thumbs up in all aspect.

It was horrible!

They said it would take three to four days. It ended up taking three weeks. Customer service was horrible. I couldn't get in touch with anybody. Two weeks later, the manager got in touch with me because I refused to talk to anybody else. They were disrespectful, they didn't seem like they cared about the customer after they got the money. The final move wasn't even done by them. They hired someone else to move the furniture.

Terrible!

I would say that it was terrible. The quote was about half of the actual cost of the move. I thought the whole thing was very deceptive and poorly handled and I'm quite angry about it.

Hiring them was worth it!

I recently hired 24 Hours Moving based on the great reviews on the internet.It was actually mixed but I followed my instinct. By the way they converse on the phone made me so confident that everything will end up smoothly. I wanted to let everyone know the good rating and reviews they had were very honest and accurate. I am not related to this company but I made this review to tell everyone how amazing was my recent move with them. They loaded the truck with our stuff and did it quickly and with care. They delivered everything after ten days and was handled very professionally. No scratches, no broken or dirty item. It is because of the way they packed them all. padded. No part exposed and sealed tightly. I was impressed with the positive attitude of all the guys.Among the companies I inquired they were not the cheapest, but for only a little difference on the pricing it was very worth it. I would definitely recommend them and will hire them again.

They didn't tell me my stairs would ...

The behavior was alright, and the price was right, except that when they came here, they charged me $100 extra because the moving was to a second floor. And I - I didn't know that ... I told the moving company I lived on the second floor, but they didn't say it would cost me more for the extra steps .... Also I have one missing item and one item broken.

Excellent Moving experience!

My overall experience with 24 Hours Moving was Excellent. They had great attitude, hard workers and very polite and strong. I am very glad to say that there's no damage and all my items arrived right on time and in great condition. I can say this move was a special case. Because I was shipping heavy crated objects and I paid little for everything. We chose the least expensive quote and soon we had them on our yard and inside. The most applaudable about this moving company is they took care of our furniture and fragile shipment. All in all it was very professional and honest com.

Service, Customer Service, Pricing and ...

Packing, service, customer support. That was the areas they left a very strong positive experience for me to share to everyone. First the packing, I really appreciate their specialty in packing because I am shipping almost fifty percent of my items that has high tendency of breaking. So when I saw how they packed, my worries were gone. They typically triple padded and wrapped most of the fragile items. Their service was really plausible because they never let me wait and they were very polite and considerate. When I call their office to check the status, they always have an answer and they really communicate well with the drivers because they were synced in the information they disseminate to me. Never been this thankful in any move but I wanted to send my massive appreciation to 24 Hours Moving Inc for the service they provided. That was really awesome.

Get all the fees upfront!

They were OK I mean, they were good initially but at the end they sucked. Get all the fees up front and don't let the company trick you!

The wrapping charge was too much

They came a little late, it also cost more. The handling charge for $300 was too much for wrapping all the stuff. It was estimated $,1300 and even though I dropped off some of the stuff it comes to $2,000. They shouldn't charge something like that.

They were very professional!

It’s great to have a company like 24 hours moving, a company that will surely give you no surprises at the day of the move and actually stands behind it. The inventory took almost quite an hour over the phone, and the customer representative asked me for measurements on a lot of things. I might be the cause of the long conversation because I keep on changing the dimensions and measurements several times but I’m glad I did it what they said. I ended up almost having an accurate estimate. Not only that the start of the move was very compelling, I am also very impressed on how they packed my stuffs. The delivery was also smart and carefully done. The steep stairs and narrow halls made it hard for them but they had everything in good condition inside my condo unit without damaging any property. I am recommending this moving company. They were professional.

Smooth!

They valued our business first time that's why I hired them again for my final move. Six months ago when they moved us partially to Virginia and just a week ago the final move of our items was also done by the same moving company named 24 Hours Moving Inc. They were fast workers. I never seen them handled our home furniture inappropriately. I am most inaudibly impressed on how they scratch free managed to maneuver and placed our antique piano to a very tiny spaced stairs to our entertainment room on the second floor. Overall, this was been a painless and smooth move.

I got only boxes to be delivered but I feel like making this review because I was happy on the time it took them to deliver my goods. It was August 27 when I had them pick up the goods from a storage facility down in San Antonio and September 2 I already had everything. Not only that I got it very fast I got it in a good manner. The goods where undamaged. And before I forgot, they offer good pricing as well. As per my review quote and actual price. I saved money because I paid less on the actual pick up. Good Company.

I am happy and will hire them next time

I am actually a repeat customer.I moved from Houston to Jacksonville recently and I used the services of 24 Hours Moving again. I was pretty satisfied with their previous service and I am happier this time. Not only I commend them for their very good communication and customer relations skills but I am also happy on the work they've done to my furniture. I knew they charge additional for additional stairs and long carries and I was totally informed before I trusted them my furniture. I requested for a call a day before the delivery and they complied. So I been able to request off from work to accept the valuables. I am happy and will use them next time.

I should say, I probably have mixed reactions on the highlights of this move but most were positive. So to start, I moved from Texas to California and seek the help of 24 hours moving. They were not my first option nor my last option but due to unavoidable circumstances I ended up hiring them. When they called, they already knew the specifics of my move, because I filled up an online form from their website. They called me to ask questions regarding my online quote request and as soon as they have answers they immediately sent a quote via email. They even asked me if I am not sure they can send an in-house estimator to be more accurate. I was pretty satisfied how they dealt with me. During the move, I was pretty sure they were doing the right thing. All my items were heavily padded and wrapped. Some were triple wrapped especially the big and fragile home decorations. I am also astonished as well during delivery because although there were only two people delivering my items they finished quick. Yes, I saw some few broken glasswares but I don't blame them. I was the one who packed all the boxes.
