**IF YOU ARE READING THIS DO NOT USE A1AMOVERS** A1A Mover's are con artists and thieves that pay illegal immigrants under the table. One of their drivers, Jose Diaz, caused a rear ending accident in our apartment complex, in Atlanta GA (05/28/20) @ 9:00am. Then he payed the victim off $200.00 to avoid police intervention. They showed up with no room in their truck (DM me, I will send you pictures) then tried to upcharge me for a random U-Haul "shuttle" truck. They parked the main 18 wheeler at a truck stop 30 miles away in Smyrna, GA that they were going to drive this U-Haul to. Let it be clear, the apartment complex has 18 wheelers come through ALL the time for moving. So you just basically have to trust and hope they aren't going to steal your stuff while they just load it up into a U-Haul, and then take it to a random location 30 miles away. They tried to upcharge me $2000.00 from the original price of $1,805.75, for a ONE bedroom apartment. I spoke with the manager and talked the price down, thrice, to $2,300.00. When I approached Jose about the new price agreement he verbally and physically assaulted me to the point of where I yelled for someone to call the police. Then he drove off, with our property, without signing the remaining binding contract of $2300.00. My wife and I had to follow the them in our vehicle. When they realized I was following them, the driver exited the vehicle,at a red light, and walked off. The other guy, Alex, had to slide over and drive the remainder of the way. Jose did not take a correct inventory, whatsoever, yet he and the higher ups at A1A know exactly how much to upcharge you based off of that inventory. Alex, a loader for A1A, was a phenomenal and joyful worker, who needs to be paid more. I told their manager Levanie about his work ethics and getting a promotion. Levanie told me "I wish we could give our guys like this a raise or a promotion, but it's all under the table you know?". Levanie apologized for the experience, which was actually completely criminal in law, and then proceeded to tell my wife and I that our stuff would be at our new location on the 6th of June 2020. Three weeks after that date our stuff finally arrived. Our TV is shattered. Our dresser that my father in law made for us, destroyed. Our dishes are broken, our bookshelves that my father in law built us are destroyed. Water damage and random vegetation all over our mattress. Please please DM me and I would be happy to send you pictures of our damaged property to any of you. Whatever you do, don't ever use or suggest, A1A Movers.
