I used this company to move a 4 bedroom house and one car from Northern California to Southern California. A member of their company came to my house and gave me a quote, which I was good with. The actual 3rd party company that came and boxed up my house were extremely good at what they did and were very efficient and nice. Before the shipment reached my new apartment in Southern California I was told that I need to pay an additional $4k because of extra pallets and moving hours used. This additional payment was over 50% of the original estimate that I paid!! I had no other option but to pay this additional amount and I my belongings were basically held hostage if I didnt pay. If I had known the total cost would have been around $8K, I would have bought all brand new furniture or even shopped around for a better shipping company!!!! This company is a scam!!! Also, by the time I moved into the Southern California apartment I had to wait an additional 3 days for my items to be delivered to my new place. My senior citizen parents had to sleep on the floor while we waiting for our things to arrive. I will never use their service again and not recommend anyone to use them. Read more

I can't believe this place is still in ...
I started the process to send a package from California to India, about a month a half ago. The was a by air shipment that was promised to be delivered in 2 weeks. The package still hasn't been delivered! I'm calling the company everyday and now they have started to ignore my calls. The package is somewhere in Bombay. We keep getting different excuses for why it has not moved, we need to assign our own agent, more paperwork needs to be filled out, we have abandoned the package, and so on. Once the package reaches India, i don't think this Aie7Seas handle it. They have absolutely no idea what is going on with whichever company they are working with over there. We are also told there there will be additional fees, which we agreed to pay. I hate this company so much right now. Only do business with them if you want to lose your sanity for a while. Read more

Not a good experience at all
I am couple of points to complain from start to the end: 1. The final charged weight has big difference with the weight I did at home. 2. When the trucker come to pick up and deliver, they refuse to pick up from your home and deliver to your home. I quote door to door service, but they said, you need to bring your staff down to the first floor, otherwise, they ask for extra charge. The same situation when they deliver. After much more effort to talk, The trucker personally agree to help me to put my staff in elevator. 3. When I quote, I was told that my luggages would take 5-7 business days to be delivered, however, it is one month later since delivery day when I receive them. 4 the my stuff arrive Canada, I was ask to pay extra $90 dollars. However, when I quote, I was told that this is a door to door service and no other cost would be happen. 5. When I ask how this unexpected $90 charge come? The sale did not answer my question directly, but talking about something else. Overall, very bad experience, bad service and hidden cost. Do not use A7S ever!
I have 3 primary issues with the service provider, all of which I have tried to resolve with the business to the extent where my shipment was delayed but I still could not get any resolution. These issues relate to my shipment of personal household goods (1 pallet - 56 cubic feet) from USA to India. 1) The business has charged me $100 extra over the agreed and quoted price stating that it is a charge for inspections performed by US Customs. This charge was never mentioned to me either verbally or in written format in their quotation while finalizing the agreement. When I asked them to provide the original receipt from Customs, they were not willing to do so and so I reached out to the Customs department and they have confirmed in writing to me that they do not charge anything at all for inspections. This charge is bogus. 2) CFS charges in Mumbai - My agreement with the service provider was for door to door delivery with the exclusion of any taxes or duties that is charged. When my goods arrived in Mumbai, their local agent mentioned that I am also liable to pay the CFS charges (charges for holding my goods in a warehouse for customs check). I was asked to pay another approximately $100. Again these CFS charges were never mentioned verbally or in writing during quotation and finalization. 3) When my items arrived in Mumbai, I was missing a box which contained my JVC receiver RX 5060B approximately valued at $150 during the time of purchase. For the last almost 3 weeks I have tried to reach out to A7S and the local agent, Akanksha Shipping but I am not receiving any help or guidance or support in this matter. This box also contained various stationery items but I am less worried about them. I have in writing from a staff member of Akanksha Shipping that my box is missing, still both the companies have not done a penny's worth to help me with it. As a customer I have only lost in this deal with A7S and they are not even ashamed or sorry for what they have done or are doing. My overall added cost over the quoted amount as part of this whole agreement and service is significantly more ($350). I strongly recommend to never use A7S or Akanksha Shipping! Read more

Air 7 Seas Transport Logistics Inc. is the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. While collecting large amounts of money for professional packing, the packing is NOT always done by a professional packer, but instead, the goods are just placed into a container without any bracing or any proper protection from being thrown around within the container during transit. When the goods are damaged, the insurance company will not cover the loss because they require proper packing for shipments to be insured, which Air 7 Seas does not take care of in many cases. You are paying for a service that is not being delivered to you and you may lose all your belongings without getting reimbursed in the process. My strong suggestion is to look for a different company to ship your household items. Read more

Completely negative experience
The whole experience of shipping my stuff from USA to Italy with Air 7 Seas was negative. There is a complete lack and disregard for customer care. Once they had my stuff in their hands, I could not do anything but paying the increased cost they asked me. The delivery was two months late, no way to get information or make them respect the agreements. The delivery crew in Italy could speak only English, so no way to discuss or complain or have information. They didn't leave any document nor cared about a clearly heavily damaged item. I am very unhappy and disappointed by the way they have treated me, claimed my money (having my stuff in their hands) and acted disregarding my interests and requests.
