Unprofessional, over charged, ...
All about moving services 190 American Legion Highway, Revere, MA. This company is a fraud and scam and stay away... Few months ago I hired this service for a small job over the phone with a lady, her name is Lisa and she was sound very nice over the phone. I explained to her that I was living alone and I was moving less than 7 miles away. She told me a small job like that requires 2 movers and a truck. I told her that I had a recliner to carry down and I would prefer to have 3 movers and she said the only difference they will do the job quicker. She then said that she will charge me $116.00 per hour plus the truck $105. On December 23, 2019 those 3 movers arrived on time and as soon they arrived, one of those guys Derek who called himself the boss started bitching about the recliner and he said I had to pay him $92.00 extra otherwise he will leave it there and he put me on the phone with a guy name Steve and I explained to him I already talk to Lisa about the recliner and that was the reason I asked for 3 movers and Steve started screaming at me, using "f word". Derek the boss, he is a total "moron" and he was very rude to me for the entire process. He is lazy he stayed in the truck outside , letting the other 2 movers bring my belonging down. They were scanning to make sure they get a lot of times billed to do the small move by almost double the original move estimate. The same move was done before for 3 hours. This time they took 5 hours, plus $105 for the truck, plus an extra $92.00. When they got to my new place it took them at approx. 1hour to unload the truck and between that time their boss called them to go do another job, then they started rushing to finish they left some furniture wrapped, my single bed 1/2 way assembled, a cut on my small bench keyboard. The disappointment part is my $1500.00 recliner, they charged me extra to bring it over remains disabled since then, I don't know what they did with the recliner electric adapter!!!I called the office to talk to Steve about my frustration and I explained him in details what did happen and he said he will call me back next day and he never did. I called him 3 days after and he said he will reimburse me 1 hour, $116.00 which should be credited on my credit card, also at that time he said his movers said the electric adapter should be found on the back of the recliner. I called my son to come over to help me tip the recliner and the cord is not there and it can't recline anymore!!!I placed many phone calls to talk to Steve, some times I spoke with a lady's name Barbara who sounds very nice and she always promised they will reimburse the $116. on March 7,2020 I wrote a letter to Steve and Barbara and they never answered my letter. I finally found him one day and he was very agitated, screaming at me he didn't want to hear about my recliner, using' f'word, claiming he doesn't have any money, he can't reimburse me $116.00. The legal action remains the only option for me, now.
