WOSRT EXPERIENCE EVER

The movers didn't show up on Wednesday as booked but came Thursday afternoon instead. (did not call sis not apologize did not give a discount) Gave me an estimate verbal and written estimate of 394 to move and then charged me 1143 when they were ready to offload. I gave them an itemized list and sizes and ended up removing items like tv and boxes they said were heavy. I packed everything myself they only had to remove and offload. It was a nightmare. Told them the new place had stairs and they didn't include in the estimate but charged 250 for stairs 150 due walking from truck to stairs to door and 206 for surcharge and added an extra 2.5 hours because they underestimated 2 guys instead of sending 3 guys. My son had to assist to avoid more hours. They only accept cash payments. They broke stuff and scratched my tables. I packed and wrapped everything myself and they only had to assemble 1 bed.

DONT USE THEM

If I could give zero stars I would. From the multiple price increases of our move (3k-10k) because they didn’t send someone to estimate our costs. To promising our stuff will arrive in seven days and it wasn’t till 2 weeks after. Then telling us we can pay our remaining balance the day the drop off and calling a week in advance basically demanding we pay something in advanced to insure their money gets to them. Oh and the freight driver rescheduled with us 3 times and was five hours late because he over slept and not to mention I had to decipher the unprofessional texts that were sent to me. A very expensive lesson to never work with them again. Terrible experience when you are moving your family across country. I would recommended them if you have a lot of money to spend, time to take off work, enjoy being pushed around to different contractors and treated poorly by customer service.

Pleasantly Surprised

When I was first shopping around for moving companies and I got a call from All American, I was hesitant due to the bad reviews I was reading. I brought this up to my sales rep Liz because although the price and her demeanor felt right, I was still suspicious. I asked her to explain to me exactly how the estimate process would go. She broke it down for me. When the price goes up on the day of the move, it is caused by an increase in reported inventory as well as packing materials. I told her I could understand that. I walked around my home that night and took down a detailed list of my furniture and packing materials I thought I might need. The next morning I read her everything, and sure enough the price did go up from the initial estimate. I could have gone with a cheaper company but for the level of service she promised and for her complete honesty, I went with All American. The day of my move went very smoothly although the men showed up an hour late. They recounted all of my items and explained why a few had to be added. All in all, they were very professional and speedy, with my estimate only going up another $150. I would highly recommend All American Moving and Storage, and I would urge future customers of ANY moving company to ask more questions. We only get beat when we do not understand the system.

Excellent

At first I was skeptical for using this company, after seeing so many bad reviews. But I’m so glad that I did it anyway. The Rep. Cary was very nice she informed me of what I should do and what to expect. She also gave me $100 discount for “first time move”. I am very pleased with my moving experience, Emmanuel and Shaun are awesome. They did a very good job, they are fast and professional. They took care of my stuffs with special care. I highly recommend them and definitely hire them again in the future.

The easiest way to put it that we were really impressed in regards to professionalism of the crew; the way they treated my wife and the way they spoke to us. They were very respectful of us. They did a super job of packing the trailer. It was travelling 3,000 miles. They treated our furniture as if it was their own furniture.

Dissatisfied Customer

My experience with this company was bad. There were many excuses instead resolving the issues, and providing customer value. Excuses about walking far in the apartment building to get to the truck. First, they came over an hour from the scheduled time and took over 4 hours to move the items from out of the old apartment. I had to beg the leading office to not close the gate for them to finish. Then it took them another 4 hours to move the items from the truck to the new apartment. I was also misled as I was told only two men required etc. The men were nice but the service and responses to the issues were terrible. No discounts given for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction. It just seems as if these companies mislead you to take your money. We also provided water and snacks to the workers. We were promised to receive the wardrobe boxes the day before and didn't get them until the day of the move which also took up time. I will not recommend this company at all!!! Terrible!!! No call back after my complaints!!! The only positive is the packaging but nothing else.
