All my son's review

This review is about my move with all my son's moving company. The day of the move it was pouring down rain. The 2 men who did the move was outstanding. I didn't here not one company from either men. They didn't take breaks, only load the truck. They moved 90% up a flight of stairs. If you are planning a move this company would be the one I would choose. If I were to move again,they would be the first one I would call. Getting everything set up for the move was first rate. They kept in contact with me to make sure everything was good to go. Terrible Experience - Beware

Terrible experience. More than twice the time estimated (estimated 6 hours and actually took 13 hours), a bunch of damaged furniture, and just left the move before finishing or even announcing that they were "done". We booked our move with All My Sons after their moving advisor had explained the care that they take in moving your items by shrink wrapping your items, covering them with pads, and properly securing them. They had also estimated 6 hours to do the move.Three movers showed up at 9:00 and spent 7 hours just loading the truck. Throughout the move, one of the movers was usually on the back of the truck texting instead of actually moving things. Come time to unload our items into storage, we notice that none of the items had been shrink wrapped and they were just stacking furniture on top of furniture. I then brought up that we were told our items would be protected by shrink wrap and they didn't even have any on the truck. After calling the office to talk about the shrink wrap issue it ended up that I was the one running to go buy shrink wrap because it would be quicker for me to do it than it would be for them. 45 minutes later when I come back with the shrink wrap I bought, one of our movers (the texter guy) is playing basketball with our basketball net instead of moving things and nothing else had been moved during that time. Come time to bring our furniture inside, we notice item after item that hadn't been protected and was damaged (wood furniture with nicks, gouges, and scrapes, leather chairs with scratches and tears). They didn't bother to cover our items as they were being brought in and they didn't bother to use hand trucks when they could have. Instead the move leader thought it was fine to use brute force with our furniture, stand it on it's side or upside down while unprotected, and bang it into walls along the way. Drawers and doors were flying open and banging into walls and rails and getting messed up. Throughout this part of the move, the texter/basketball guy spent a lot of time on the back of the truck folding blankets. Nearing the end of the move they wanted to take payment before they were finished because they said the office would be closing so they estimated that they had two hours remaining. They contended that they arrived half an hour before they did but I went ahead and made the payment. Lastly, I was walking through our place to see what furniture was left to be moved in and assembled and saw that the movers had just left unannounced. There were two beds to be put together and a glass coffee table but the movers were gone before we could even go through the items that had been damaged. Professionally done move

It was great watching professionals at work. They came in and developed a plan and executed it well. The pricing was comparable to others. The pickup, delivery, and completion of the move was done on time and was acceptable. I liked the way they wrapped heavy furniture with some covers. The service that I recieved from All My Sons was great. Very professional and hard working. All My Sons 3 pros is the standard crew, so while the cost will seem alitlle higher than other estimates at first glance, the third person makes all the difference in meeting the time objectives set down. All three of my movers worked well together, the equipment was clean and damage free, and you could tell they took care of their things as well as mine.
