Do NOT Use this Company

This company LOST furniture and boxes!!!!!!!!!!! They tried to fit my deliver on the back end of someone else's delivery shoving my things onto the truck. They broke a table into pieces (cost me $100 to have it repaired), they broke legs off my antique buffet and nite stand, they dragged my couch rubbing it all the way down to the batting and it was wrapped in plastic and blankets, even they blankets had holes worn though....just to name a few things. I have over $3,000 worth of damage. They were unable to fit my complete delivery on the first truck but never told me, I was told by the delivery driver. Then I had to keep bugging them to get the rest of my household. I did NOT get extended insurance coverage so they only want to pay me $107 for all the damage. You should not have to get insurance to protect yourself from a service you are already paying for.....beware of this company. Read more

Worst company ever.

One of the worst companies to deal with. I lost many of my electronic stuffs like speakers, keyboard etc when they moved my stuffs from Tennessee to Georgia . They asked me to claim through MovingClaims.Net and this company took around 3-4 months for processing my claim and finally sent the payment amount details to Allways moving. I have not recieved my payment cheque yet and still waiting for the response. Worst customer care service which connects to voice mail everytime. Read more

STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU WISH TO INVITE ...

They give you a low ball quote, and once you have your move all planned. They will show up and charge you more saying their office misquoted. Once they have loaded up your personal belongings, they don't even give you copies of documents. They disappear with your valuables and are never heard from again. Good luck calling local Police or hiring an attorney. They will tell you that you got screwed and shell out more money to track these people down. Read more

Most Lies and Arrogance of Any Company

I originally contracted with Blue Lines (job number 5112233), which gave the job to Allways (job number 503027). The pickup was very good but then, once Allways had my money and goods, they treated me like a servant. I was continuously ignored, lied to at every opportunity and made to feel like a toy to the greed of management. Because the delivery was so late, Allways management said I could pay with a credit card but the payment link never came. I called at least 4 times and it was always, "The manager will send it today." The move was contractually late with notification only a day before. Allways demanded payment the day before delivery or they'd charge me for a second delivery. I demanded to speak with the manager but the coward would not get on the phone, just had an agent take the heat. I could not even get a name for this heinous decision. Frankly, I suspect this lie was solely to maximize profits. I had to jump through hoops with my financial institution to get a wire transfer at literally the last minute. This company is untrustworthy, has the integrity of Joseph Stalin, and managers who must take delight in torturing the customer. Never, ever use this company. It has no pride, no integrity and no respect. It was plenty of lies and arrogance. If the manager wants to call me directly, I'm waiting. Read more

There was some delay.

There was some delay because they gave me the schedule for Wednesday and they changed the schedule to Friday, Then finally I get the call from the company Monday that they did not pick up the stuff yet. It was not accurate. Like, there was a delay one week. Read more

Did a good job

It was very good. It was very smooth they came and did a good job. They did gave me a price quote but it was a little more cubic feet than they estimated. It was ok but the claim process was problem for the one damaged piece. The movers were very good. Read more

They weren't in a rush to bring my ...

I would advise to the future customer, not to pay the bulk of the money up front. I think that's where the problem came in. I think by me paying so much upfront they didn't really care, they weren't in a hurry to get my money, and the guy said he had to go where the dispatcher sent him, I think the dispatcher was sending him where the big money was. Where ever the big bucks were that's where they were sending him. He had picked up my $800 and I only owed him $400, so he wasn't in a hurry to get that. So that's my advice to any future customers, only pay a portion of the money and pay the bulk when the furniture gets delivered. Read more

I have been waiting 21 more days than ...

I received a job down in Myrtle Beach, SC. Living in Indiana at the time, a moving company was the best option for bringing my stuff down. After a nice quote and then a pickup that was not too painful, I have been sitting in a house without furniture for 35 days. I was told it would take 10-14 days for the move to be complete and yet, my furniture and clothes are still not here. I have been calling them every day for the last three weeks and they cannot even tell me where my items are much less when they will arrive. Even after asking then pleading then threatening with my lawyers and the Better Business Bureau, they still have no information regarding the items or when they will be here. Not only has the branch in Chicago stopped answering calls to customer service, they will not respond to voicemail messages. Going through the Dallas Branch, I still cannot get information regarding the service. All in all, this nightmare is ongoing and I still have no knowledge of where my stuff is nor the condition, so I cannot wait to get my stuff (knowing from what other people have experienced that it was all basically destroyed) and I will be sure to write another lovely message here explaining what this company did not do for me. You are paying this company to ROB ...

I found this company for relocation from Chicago to Houston ON June 30th, 2014. The customer rep Steve and his manager Danielle quoted a low price for the relocation (9 furniture items and 15 boxes to pack my belongings) and I accepted it with a deposit. The nightmare started after this. The driver (Aon) came late to pickup. He refused to load my furniture because according to him his own company (Always moving) quoted me wrong and he flatly said until i pay him more money, he would not load my furniture. I called the Always moving to speak to the manager (Danielle). He refused to help and said I will have to pay $ 500 (They had my credit card on file) to cancel the services if I was not happy. This came as a shock to me as at this point he was saying pay me more money and I WILL LOAD ONLY 6 ITEMS FROM THE 9 IN THE QUOTE. I had no choice and had to pay him $700 extra money over the quote price. He was the rudest person (Aon) I have ever known in my life and damaged my building walls while moving and cost me $300 of building repair work. The nightmare had just begun. I called them to deliver my furniture form their Dallas warehouse on July 23rd, 2014 and the harassment had just begun again. It’s been a month and they have not delivered my stuff. I have tried calling them and they have been just lying for the last 1-month assuring furniture will be here in 2 days for the last 1 month. Their customer reps Paris and her manager are very rude and put you on long hold during phone calls and later cut the call. My multiple email and phone calls to their company rep Steve and his manager Danielle have never been returned. When you call their office and the receptionists standard reply they are out of office. These people are scam artists (Steve, Danielle, Paris) do a good job of ripping people of their money. They lack basic customer service. They just don’t care once they have your credit card info. I am amazed this company even exists and is allowed to operate in America. We have a 16 months old baby and are presently living with our friends and in hotels hoping to get our furniture back to start our life. This company has made our life hell and made our life so stressful. My son is missing all his clothes and toys and we have spent over $5000 in bills in the last month waiting for our furniture and stuff. I have no more words left in me to describe this company. You just need to be a human being to understand another person plight. These people (Steve, Danielle, Paris) are experts in lying and this company is a nightmare from hell.I have just hired an attorney and he will serve legal documents to this company. after having my friend move with allways moving a few months prior, I decided to go ahead and give them a call. after only ten minutes on the phone I had an inventory list and booked my move. the movers showed up exactly on time and worked very quickly. Not a good experience! The quote was ...

It was not a good experience. The quote they gave was different than when they came in. I was looking at like 500 cubic feet, but when they came in it turned out to be 800 cubic feet, so it was a big difference there. The second thing is when they came in to drop off, the person who was trying to fix things had no clue what he was doing. So they couldn't fix most of the things, the TV stand wasn't fixed properly, they said there was a screw missing, and something else. Dishonest and Elusive

Quote was okay. Movers that picked up our belongings were nice. The company as a whole is dishonest and unprofessional. You will never get your belongings within the window they set. They're is no way to even get an estimate about when your belongings will arrive let alone where they are. You'll be informed that your belongings are going to be delivered 24 hours ahead of time after you have been getting no answers for weeks and have decided to move on with your life. Therefore they expect you to drop everything going on in your life with 24 hours so they can show up 30 days late. They fall to meet every guarantee in their "bonding quote." They don't even have the answering service that they claim exists. THIS COMPANY WILL LIE TO YOU IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. I WOULD PAY MORE AND GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY IF I HAD A SECOND A CHANCE. Terrible!

They picked the stuff up three days late here in Michigan, and I still don't have the stuff here in Texas. They were there last weekend on the fourth of July in an 18 wheeler and couldn't get off the highway on an 18 wheeler so they brought the shipment back to Dallas and were going to load it on a smaller truck and bring it to me Monday or Tuesday, and they still haven't shown up. It was terrible. I'd never use them ...

They didn't show up any of the times they said they were going to. We couldn't get a hold of anyone for hours. No one would return our call when they said they would call back. We waited and waited and waited and waited. Finally they picked up when we said forget it, we're going to figure out how to get our stuff moved on our own. They called back and said oh please, give us another chance and we'll make sure it goes well. I said OK, we'll give you another chance then. They came and picked up our things and then it was 18 days before we saw our stuff again. Again, no update, no calls. They said,we'll call you a week in advance. No call a week in advance. It was just ridiculous. It felt like being duped. It really did. I was starting to worry that we had been scammed. it didn't seem professional at all. Worst Experience Ever!

This is the worst situation I have ever been! In my contract it says delivery in 5-12 days but its been 6 weeks and I haven't received my stuff. Sales person Jedd (probably not his real name) sounded very responsible on phone and gave lower rate. He gave me rate per cubic ft. and told me if I give exact inventory and dimensions of all boxes and furniture my rate would not change at the time of pick up. After loading all my stuff it was $700 more! I tried to call Jedd but ofcourse he didn't answer. After coming to FL, I waited for two weeks to hear from them. Now, I call customer service everyday and either they put me on hold for 30-40 mins. or sometime receptionist says that all customer representative are busy and they will call me back which they never do. I moved to Florida for new job. I just have few cloths with me and all my stuff is with this moving company. I am really busy with new job and I don't know how can I get my stuff back from this company! Read more

The poor packing damaged my things and ...

Terrible! They gave me a very bad estimate to begin with, I had to leave behind half my house because the estimate I got was about $4,000 short of what they said they had to have. When they packed me up they took a long time to do it, they didn't take the things I asked them to, less than the things I did ask them to take and when I got to this end and went to unpack things they were just thrown in boxes. I had a lot of damage, they didn't use packing material in some of the boxes and just dumped stuff in it. I'm still assessing all the damages. I went ahead and filed a claim. No response from the pick up company! ...

It was awful. My things were late. Leaving Tennessee they said my things should be here by June 2, and in the contract it said 7 to 10 days, and my things just got here yesterday (June 17). So I think I called every day, inquiring and the company I called who picked up my stuff in Tenn. every time I would call, I never got in touch with anybody. I either got voice mail, or something else that just wasn't helpful. So the guys who delivered my stuff, they were nice, they got everything done in an efficient way. However, along the way i don't know if it w as when my stuff was picked up and stored or transferred, my lamp a porcelain antique lamp, was broken. Read more

They had promised me a time frame of two days to show up and when they called they said they were going to be another day and instead of it being that third day they called on the second day to tell me they were going to be there in an hour. The estimate was not accurate and I ...

I did not have a good experience. The guy gave an estimation and when they came on the day to pick up my stuff they gave me another quote. So it was completely different but I didn't have another choice so I took that service. They gave me an estimate of $1250 and when the day came it ended up being $1650. Could have been handled better

There were a lot of things that could have been handled a better way. I was not updated with travel information and other information which I think could have let things happen better. Originally I was told that the truck would arrive on a certain day and I asked my friends to be available but the guy didn't show up. They turned up the next day. My stuff was supposed to be transferred from Bentonville to Los Angeles, but it looks like my stuff went to Illinois and then came back to Los Angeles. While all this was happening I was not being updated. I had to make several calls to know when my stuff was coming, based on that I had to make arrangements in my apartment. I live in a high rise apartment and have to tell the office to block off a certain date and time for the stuff to be moved. That could have been dealt in a better way. When the truck arrived, he said he'd charge more because he was to move stuff to a high rise building. I did mention that when I had initially taken the quote. Very Shady

My trouble with this company began when I called for a quote. Being military, I have to do a weight based move, which I made very clear, but the quote I was given was for a cubic foot move. I didn't realize until the movers showed up that I was quoted the wrong type, or I probably would have gone with another company. First, they gave me two dates they could possibly show up to get my stuff. I called after the first day to make sure they were coming the next, and was told it would be another day longer, although they ended up calling on day two to say they were two hours away. Good thing I happened to be off work. On the day they finally came to pick up my stuff, the driver was unaware that I needed empty and full weight tickets. I did eventually get them, but not without a lot of griping and lecturing from him about how much of an inconvenience this was, how it was going to make his day much longer, and he expected to be well taken care of for his efforts. He also repeatedly asked me how much I was earning off the move, this being a military move. Not only did I not know, but with the nickel and diming he did for every little thing (unexpected because I was told it would be included in my quote),it was really NONE of his business and very unprofessional of him to ask. After I tipped the driver $140 for him and his crew, he called later to say that he had forgotten to factor in my deposit of almost $300 in what I still owed. He asked not once, but TWICE, if we wanted to leave that for a tip. Disgusting. Not only did I tip these guys well, but I also provided breakfast and lunch, and had to follow them to the truck scales to get my weight ticket. I let the company know WEEKS ahead of time what my first day to accept delivery was, since there was a 2-12 day window for delivery. On day 11 (today) I called to make sure it would be there the following day, and was told it was still in storage 1200 miles away. I paid the very handsome sum of $6080, and still have not received my belongings. I am in the military, and have been through MANY cross country moves. Fantastic Move

Allways did my move from San Antonio, Texas to San Francisco. I was quoted by a very nice sales girl called Kelly. She gave me a very competitive price. It wasn't the cheapest but I spoke a lot with Kelly and her manager Daniel and I just felt like they were the kind of people I wanted to work with on this move. My intuition proved to be good because the move was fantastic. The mover who came was called Alex and he was a really nice guy. He and his crew really knew what they were doing. I did not get my things

I did not get my items on time and my move happened on February 28. It's more than a month and I did not get my things. I have been calling them everyday. Please do not give this company to anyone in future. I ended up spending more than what I have given them. They charged me $1500, but I have spent just for giving them my goods, I've spent more than $2000 from past one month. I don't have anything to do, I'm sleeping on the carpet, I don't have anything to cook, so I have been spending all my money in restaurants and I did not receive my paycheck because they did not give all the documents on time. HORRIBLE experience

Worst experience in my life. Toni, the dispatch manager, lied about the location of my furniture, the delivery specifics, and using 3rd party companies. Sarah was ill informed and assured me of a delivery window that was NOT met. I waited 4 weeks after the time Sarah ASSURED me my furniture would arrive. A third party company arrived and I was forced to pay their fees upon arrival. My furniture arrived broken, damaged, stained, and smelly. I filed the insurance paperwork for the insurance purchased with the move, NOTHING has been paid for. I havent even had a call to me about my damaged and broken items. Dealing with this company brought me to tears on several occassions when I was told the company "didn't know" where the truck carrying everything I own was located. Poor customer service, the price went up about $800 more than I was quoted. The inventory I provided to them was not up to date when the movers arrived for pickup and I was charged extra for items I had already added to my inventory list. Extraordinary professional movers

All-ways Moving and Storage proved that they were completely unique company. Honestly, I thought it was going to be damaged something. But, their extraordinary professional movers came to deal my goods and did wonderfully excellent job. Carlos, the foreman monitored everything with the crews. I just liked their world class packing service. I found there nothing compliant to share. Finally, I have a got great moving company. Needless to say, they charged me reasonable price. Happy with move itself, not happy with ...

Basically the move went well. I was happy with the move itself, my items were delivered safely, soundly, the only thing that I was not so happy with was the amount of time taken to deliver. When I actually checked with them they initially said 2-12 working days...I received my stuff about 18 days after I had moved in and actually delivered on a Saturday which i don't think should apply since its not a working day. Other than that everything was fine. They need to be more upfront with hidden charges. Read more

Ever best movers I found in my life

Present age is so fast and accurate. Whatever we do, we need to save our time. Beginning of this March I moved our new apartment in New York from my mom's home in Texas. I took help from online and made a great plan for selecting the best one. I requested at least four companies for a compact estimate. They responded me very early but All-ways Moving was exceptional among all of them. At first their customer care Sarah replied me and offered me very reasonable quote. Their extremely professional movers proved that I didn't make any mistake to select them. On the moving day they knocked my door exactly 8am and showed up how professional they were. worst move ever

Well, We had a pleasant experience in the beginning with Ben our sales representative. When they can to pick up, it became a whole other story. They harrassed my parents into paying more. I finally got them to agree to take the items that were promised for that price. Ben told me he was leaving but the manager would answer my call if I had to call back. Well, they started charging him foe packaging which was part of their service. I tried to call allways but no one would answer. My parents agreed because they had been verbally beaten down for 2 1/2 hours at this point. then they were told they wouldn't take everything so they increased the price again. Again I tried to call allways constantly for 45 minutes with no answer. My parents paid an increased $2,700. They picked up the stuff. We thought they would deliver on saturday. We waited all day. We called and were told 0 to 7 business days because we were withing 500 miles. That was our bad for not reading the fine print. It has now been 14 business days and no furniture yet. They refuse to answer our calls. Someone named Nick left a message saying he was going to deliver on Saturday. We called Friday. They told my husband they would call dispatcher and call us back. No call. He called Saturday. Still no call. We wait and wait. I keep calling. No one answers. Customer Service representative Toni Hennessey leaves a message at our old house saying they are just loading and going to deliver later. I called on the 7th business day and get told it may be "by the weekend" but that is not guaranteed by Sunday night. I say you ignore my calls and and call our house phone in louisiana because you know we are not there. he had the nerve to tell me twice "yes, what are you going to do about it." We just want our furniture in tact and delivered. It is not that hard. Read more

Worst movers on the planet

1. The packers/movers broke items while they were packing on my premises which Allways Moving and Storage agreed would be paid for. 2. The packers/movers displayed unprofessional behavior. 3. I am missing items which were packed by Allways Moving and Storage but were never delivered to me indicating that they were stolen. 4. Most of my items arrived damaged or broken 5. Incomplete/insufficient packing and setup of my belongings 6. I was not informed of the claims rules or process. 7. I was not informed of the insurance coverage options or policies. 8. I over payed for the move - $123 9. My items were held hostage by the mover, who I discovered later was not an employee of Allways Moving and Storage. He required me to pay $495 on the spot for a service that I did not need and have in writing that this service was not required. 10. I was not informed of Allways Moving and Storage policy of moving customers belongings to multiple locations and vehicles. 11.Allways Moving and Storage customer service asked that I report any over payments or losses due to services not completed and these were never addressed 12.
