Indeed the best movers

They did an excellent job. The movers were on time. They were efficient and quick. They handled my furniture work smoothly. I really liked the way they unpacked and reassembled my furniture. My only concern was their packaging materials are too costly. I would use them again for my next move.

A smooth moving job

I am telling these guys they did a great job and I would go with them again. They came a little bit late but that was not a problem. Their service was great and they were friendly and wonderful. They did everything neatly, cleanly, and safely. The pricing was ok and I don't have any complaints about them.

Simply excellent

An excellent service provided of this company made our moving experience a smoother and safer one. It was pretty good customer service. They were polite, organized and made our delivery on the scheduled time. The price was also reasonable. Overall, I have chosen fantastic and perfect moving services.

ABM Van lines - worst service fully ...

All they care is the money. The estimate price and the real price varied widely. The quality of service I received was the worst of all. Their charges kept on increasing for number of services! For 2 ft bubble wrap and a piece of card board they charged me $100. They lost all nuts and bolts for my wooden bed frame, which is of no use now! Broke few furnitures and boxes (and glass lamp). Furniture dis-assembling at origin and reassembling at destination was promised! They did not even complete 10% of the reassembling at the destination address. They workers were not trained to do so! They made unacceptable reasons and left the furniture pieces. The dispatcher of the company was not cooperating either! I was told over the phone that I would be provided with the contact information of the claim department. so far I have been waiting for their response! Whenever I called them, the dispatcher is either on other phone or out of office. I requested to call receiver to ask the dispatcher respond to my call! All of my numerous call efforts were of no use! All in all, I had very bad experience with my recent moving using this company! I have not been responded for the payment of damages and lost items! I have not yet had chance to talk with their claims department! What should I expect at this time?

OverCharging, liars, unprofessional

Hi, Worst experience. They came very late, they tell lies when recording the times so they can increase the commute time and than double it. They said NO for picking up lot of items (Lamps, small boxes). They left over my bed's furniture. Before unloading they overestimate the time it will take. They could have completed unloading within 4 hours, but they overestimated to 5 hours and did not refund me for extra hour. 1 of them did not speak or understand english. 2nd person can understand some english. They damaged my mattress and than would not accept it. They are not member of CMSA. I personally called CMSA to confirm that. Thanks, Nikesh

Very pleasant experience. it was great!

Very pleasant experience with this Americas Best Movers. We moved last weekend and after spending hours on research mover's records online, we found this honest company. When I called sales department I reached a real live person right away and he was very nice reprehensive and very pleasant! He answered all my questions kindly and the prices were just short of a miracle. He was just so informative! Needless to say, we booked with ori van liens. They delivered prompt and well priced service and when if we move in the future we will be using them again!

Fantastic!

Four for fantastic! Moved me to Los Gatos from Santa Cruz in just the three hour estimate they quoted me. I had three guys move me and they were great! I cant believe one person can move 3 boxes at one time. Im pretty sure they were heavy too. They were putting blankets and plastic wrap on all my items which i found very professional. I remember moving about a year ago and the movers i hired just tossed everythingthey can in the truck. But these guys are different. They definitely take moving seriously. I mean they even took the time to help me unpack some of my boxes. Really happy with the crew that i got that day. Im definitely going to request them again if i need to move.

Use them again

We were extremely happy with the job the foreman and his crew did. The rates were very reasonable. No hidden fees. The crew worked tirelessly the entire time they were with us. I'd say they took a total of 10 minutes in breaks over the course of 5 hours. They wrapped each and every piece of furniture in a little protective cocoon. While that process slowed them down a bit, there wasn't a single scratch or ding on anything. They provided us with wardrobe boxes and were very generous with spare boxes they had in the truck. On top of everything else, all three men were friendly, smiling, and good-natured. I would definitely use their services again!

Americas Best Movers are awesome! They helped me in my recent move, and I barely had to lift a finger. They were on time and super-efficient. They never once complain that I had so much stuff (and I did, I wouldn't have been surprised to hear a groan or 2 about all the boxes). It actually took longer to move my stuff out of my old place than it did to move it into my new place. My old place had an elevator, and I'm the 2nd floor of my new building with no elevator. There was no complaining about having to carry things up the stairs. In fact, they had the ingenious idea to back the truck up to the 2nd floor railing, and just pass most of the stuff over it, without having to climb the stairs! The price was right too, I was completely done in 3 and 1/2 hours, and it was a relief for sure.

My company was gracious enough to cover our moving costs. We looked at the various moving companies, and decided to go with Americas Best Movers. They did the best job of providing a thorough estimate, and going into great detail in describing their moving practices. We decided to go with them. The moving day came and went, and I have nothing to report. There were no problems, no lost items, no damaged items. The worst thing I can say is that the movers drank some beer out of a cooler I had outside. Even that is my fault - I told them to drink whatever they wanted in the cooler, so they did. (This excludes the driver) The truck reached the new house right on time, and they arrived 45 minutes earlier than they had promised! There were plenty of men to pack, load, and unload. They got everything done in a very professional manner, and left my wife and I with a very good feeling. We have a 1 year old, and he "helped" the movers as much as he could; they went along with him and had a lot of fun, where many others would have just pushed him aside. I can 100% recommend Americas Best Movers, based on my experience. The entire company, from the managers we contacted to the estimators to the moving supervisor and his team were top-notch. I would trust them with my move any day.
