Lawsuit in process against America's ...

As the damage/loss value is over $20K, in May 2022, a lawsuit was filed in Civil Court against America's Movers - the only recourse for a "fair/reasonable" recovery of damages. My current suit is in process, in October 2022. The pictures tell the story and illustrate the level of poor performance received from America's Movers. They offered $497.08 to compensate for apartment property and $15,307 in household items damages. America's Movers owner correspondence, "Your claim check will be for $497.80. Please confirm your address and name to make the check payable to." To Better Business Bureau, "We feel we have done our best to resolve this issue. We stand by the service we have provided. After reviewing his claim and pictures of his damaged items, we feel the claim check for $497.80 is sufficient." As a consumer, I strongly suggest doing your research, comparing multiple movers (and not on price alone) acquiring the extra insurance independently, and assessing the legal process if your move (with whomever) does not go as planned. I was pressed on time to relocate for a job/position, and incorrectly trusted the word of America's Movers. The Small Claims

I moved to Delray to be closer to my sister. I am a widowed woman and was nervous about doing this alone. America's Movers made it very easy for me. They provided me with an accurate estimate and called the day before the move to confirm everything. They had a clean truck and knew how to protect everything with blankets. They were on time for the delivery as well. They helped set the condo up and were the friendliest guys. I received a followup call to ensure my satisfaction the next day.

We moved from SC to the Atlanta area. After dealing with so many movers and trying to figure out the pricing, America's Movers made it really easy. They gave us a quote and explained what it was based on. It made sense to us. They handled all of our things with care, especially our antique desk. Stairs were not a problem for them whatsoever. They even helped set our new place up by putting the furniture where we requested

I was given the number to America's Movers from my neighbor who was also moving. I really liked how responsive they were and at the same time, didn't pressure me into using them. Once I decided to go with them, they were with us every step of the way. We got our estimate and were given tips on how to pack in order to save money on the move. On moving day, they were on time and ready to work. They were fast, yet careful. We had a few large art pieces which they wrapped and put in bins for safety. The move in went just as well and they listened to our ideas and helped set up the new place. Very friendly and good quality all around.

BAIT AND SWITCH

They load all your personal belongings and then raise the price. The lady Casy stated she messed up the quote so it will be 1,000 more than the original. So apparently we had to pay extra for this lady's incompetency. not to mention they stated that it would be 495 more than originally quoted then found out we sold our house and called literally 10 minutes later and said oh no its actually 1000 more.

Great company. Hired them to move and pack my condo yesterday. They were courteous and professional. Office staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will use them again.

Great moving experience

I hired this company to move my condo. They came one day packed my entire condo up and moved me the next day. Fast friendly courteous polite professional company. Highly recommend these guys!
