DO NOT HIRE THESE CLOWNS

Absolutely terrible. Don't hire these clowns. I was swayed by their decent website, and helpful phone staff. But it's unreal how bad their company is. Feel free to read the full-detail at asatamovingsucks.com I hired these guys for a long distance move. I even flew back to NYC to help them pack my apartment. Of course they arrived late. Then they kept asking for things: can i make them a pot of coffee, aspirin for a toothache? Just really unprofessional. They didn't seem to be in a hurry to get the job done, and I had a plane to catch. I ended up having to leave for the airport before the job was done. Then after no communication about when to expect my belongings, I called and called and finally got a date. They arrived, and demanded a money order before releasing my property. All other transactions with Asata were with credit cart and venmo, so this "cash only" deal was presumably because of what they had done to my stuff. They started unloading, and I began to notice severe damage to my items. Scuffs, scratches, broken items, and they even wrote on several of my expensive items with a red permanent marker. Yes, the geniuses over at Asata moving decided the best way to to indicate which property belonged to my "job" was to write the number "11" right on my property! In some cases, they wrote it multiple times. Not only that intentional vandalism, but I had three pieces that I had noted in the original quote were to receive special care and attention because they were important to me and expensive. Guess what?! Two of the three were damaged irreparably. They sliced through the leather of an Eames Chair, and broke a designer cabinet in multiple places. Unbelievable. I tried to work with them to resolve the issues amicably, but I got the runaround and and an insulting offer to "clean" my items. Eventually they went radio silent and probably thought I'd forget about it. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for an actually decent company. Alan (or Alex... he goes by both?) - Reach out if you want to fix this, bud. Otherwise, I hope you find another profession. Great service

Asata moving helped me a lot with my stuff,they were super quick it took them 2 hours and the movers came on the assigned time. The price was the best,much better than the other companies were giving me. The service was wonderful nothing was broken or scratched,the walls weren't touched as well. Every piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and then stocked in the truck. I had a king size bed that needed to be reassembled. So everything was great,and I recommend them to everyone.
