The worst Moving Company I have Used

I was moving from Aventura to Hollywood Beach (less than 5 miles apart). I had all of my personal items that could be boxed already moved to the new location. I had the furniture taken a part. All that had to be done was move a 1 bedroom apartment main furniture. The company was referred from the building that I was moving to. It took them a week to send over the insurance information to the buildings so I could reserve the elevators. Thankfully this all worked out but could have ended up very badly if there was another resident requesting to use the elevator and had all their insurance paperwork in. They only sent it when I said I would have to get another compony due to the need to move on the 1st which was 2 days away at that point. The 1st is when a lot of people move. Anyhow, the movers were scheduled to arrive at 9am. They didn't come up to the apartment until 9:40. (They wanted the time for their start and payment to begin at 9:00am). I told them that was ridiculous and the time should start when the work starts. There were two movers that showed up. Both of them young and EXTREMELY SLOW and LAZY. My family had to help them move the furniture because I only had the elevator for a certain window period of time. They were intentionally being slow so that they could charge more as they had a 3 hr minimum and anything after that was an hourly rate. I have never seen such amateurs. In 1 hour they only took 4 items down. At that point had I not prepaid, I would have cancelled them and gotten someone else. These guys are NOT movers. They are lazy amateurs that are looking for easy money. I would find one in the hall way on his phone throughout the move. I was paying him to talk to other people. They were so lazy all of my expensive Italian furniture from Addison House has scuffs and scrapes (even though they wrapped everything). They would drag it on the ground and pivot the corners on the ground so it could make it easier on them versus preserving my furniture and actually picking it up and not allowing it to be on the ground. Of course they went over the prepaid and agreed time. Even driving to the new location they were following us (we drove super slow and had turn signal on well in advance and they managed to passed it up (I believe intentionally and went several stop lights down before coming back). For what reason I can not guess more than the simple fact to pull more time. Bottom line is, this is not a professional company. I would never recommend them. I will never use them again. Communication was terrible, Service was terrible, Customer service was terrible.

THE WORST COMPANY!!!

If I could give minus zero stars for this company I would. From start to finish I was shocked and appalled by their behavior. I went on move.com to put in the ability to get different quotes. I was texted by “Ernesto” first stating they would move me for $400 from Miami to Boca. Seemed like the best deal out there but then he sent me pictures and a video. The pictures were of people moving and then there was a video of porn!!!! I was so blown away I just ignored anything after. He continuously messaged me about the move and I responded about how disrespectful it was that they would send me a video like that. The next day supposedly another person named “Ismael” reached out and apologized for the sales person and said that he got fired. ??? He then continuously apologized and reached out to me numerous days afterward asking to ?Offer the moving services. He then offered $450 and would remove the two chandeliers for me even though they don’t do electrical work. I thought that was fair and because of their continuous apologies I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake!!! The only thing I can say that is positive for my entire experience is that they did show up at the time that they said they would and came with three men instead of two. I thought that would speed up the process but it took from 9 AM until 5:30pm for them to be finished. They wrapped everything up to OK standards But then from there it became a disaster. When they were finished packing they were taking down the chandeliers and Ismael didn’t bother to wait for the other two gentlemen that were downstairs and broke a few pieces off my chandelier. He didn’t even bother to say sorry and even stated that he didn’t and had to show him twice the broken pieces. He did not offer at all to do anything about it and made excuses for his mistakes saying the pieces must have been loose… From there we went to the new condo. They started bringing things up and I noticed that my nightstand was broken on one side. I noted this to Ismael and he got irritated with me and very short stating “if I’m going to do insurance then I’m only going to get a certain amount because how heavy is the furniture anyways”. I left that as is and kept going. Then before the other two gentlemen came up he stated that everything came up and the truck was empty and I should go and check if I “needed too”. I pointed to two end tables that have glass that were missing and then he got frazzled and called the one person downstairs that noted that they were a number of boxes still down there that needed to come up. From there, he stated once everything was actually brought up that I owe him $75 extra on top of the $450 that was agreed-upon via text message and email numerous times. I stated to him that the extra insurance was not needed for either building. It was noted via text numerous times and also email and then he began to yell and raise his voice to a screaming notion that I have to pay the $75 no matter what and
