Awesome Move

Super impressive, excellent moving company. I will recommend this company to everyone. For the first time I hired Atlanta van lines for my move. I moved from Louisiana to Ohio. I wanted to relocate some stuff for my sister, she bought some products from here. So I hired a truck to deliver all her belongings. All the products were wrapped very carefully with tapes and then packed and boxed. I visited their office a number of times. It was quite nice! That is clean and secured. I paid my bill to them without any excess charge. It was my 2nd move with these guys. I have good relationships with Atlanta and want to keep in touch always. Thanks for your super performance.

Excellent Service

This is the 3rd time our family has used Atlanta Van Lines and each time it's been an absolute pleasure! They even moved friends of ours and they loved them too! Angel and his crew moved us this past Saturday and within 3 1/2 hours loaded everything from the old house into the truck and unloaded it into the new house. They were there early and took care of everything! I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a great and reliable moving company. Nothing was damaged, no walls were marked up and they make moving furniture down a flight of stairs effortless! Thank you Atlanta Van Lines!!

They did a Great Job!

Thanks to the whole crew for doing a great job and getting us moved out within the allotted time frame given, I would definitely recommend them to anyone moving out of the area in the future...

Delivery

They never picked up my items on moving day. Driver had trouble finding my apartment so cussed at me and was very belligerent and intimidating. I had to find new movers in 24 hours. They refused to help even though I paid them a 300.00 deposit. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.. The owner was worse then the drivers. Poor customer service. They have a B- with the BBB and are not accredited like they advertise. BEWARE!

A little problem with timing, but it ...

They had a little problem with the timing with the holidays and the shortage of drivers right around Christmas and New Year's so they didn't pick up the furniture when they thought they could. So it was delayed a couple days. But that wasn't a disaster for us... it wasn't things we absolutely needed. But they ended up picking it up and securing it and got it about seven days from the original date we indicated that we would accept delivery.

Finally all done here's my review

Troy and his team were wonderful - so efficient and careful with all our things - they even made a separate stop to drop a family heirloom off at my inlaws' for no extra travel charge. They were so easygoing and didn't complain one bit about us not being perfectly or completely packed or our cramped narrow stairways! And they even lent me tools to help me put my daughter's bed together - amazing. They made a very stressful day much easier for all of us. Thank you Troy and crew!

any type of move

I am very happy with the services provided by Atlanta van lines. I had a bad previous experience with a piano moving company who I found were not very reliable. The movers from atlanta, Marion and the two other men, were punctual and polite. They moved my piano carefully and professionally. They did not scratch my piano during the move from one house to the other. I would use them again and would highly recommend them for any type of moving.

True Professionals

These guys are true professionals. We've used them twice to move our office and they've done a great job. They do a lot of things you might not expect from a moving company, like sending your estimate as an e-mail almost immediately after meeting you . But most importantly, they're honest, reliable, reasonably priced and timely.

These guys were so punctual, so efficient! We communicated via email and everything that was spoken of was definitely delivered from their part. They quoted me a price but I ended up having more things and the price was only increased slightly...how often does that happen? Anyway these guys are great!

Very good movers. Very careful, considering the fact that there were many stairs involved and they did it very quick yet safe. They were available the same day I phoned to book with hopes of moving as soon as possible. Very nice guys, great sense of humor as well.

Larry and his team did an incredible job. They wrapped everything so well and packed everything so well that we had no concerns at all. Excellent customer service. Reliable, flexible and accessible. I would highly recommend Atlanta van lines.

couldn't be happier

Atlanta Van Lines was absolutely amazing to work with for my 3 bedroom house move. They were on time, with a great set of guys who were so prepared. They wrapped all of my furniture and even put my clothes from my closet directly into wardrobe boxes so that I didn't have to. Moving can be so stressful and I generally hate the process. But they made me feel confident that everything would go smoothly... And it did! Thank you to the great movers! And of course Alvin at the office for making my booking happen so quickly as well. Couldn't be happier!

Wonderful moving experience

I had a wonderful experience with Atlanta Van Lines. The team was completely professional, very pleasant and helpful, and they took great care of my stuff. As we all know moving is enough of a stressful experience, so it was such a relief knowing that my stuff was in good hands. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family, and in fact I plan on using them again very shortly.

hard work but yet still humourous

The guys showed up on time, in fact a little early. They were respectful and understood the stress of moving. Their good humour made things much, much easier for my wife and I. In addition, they worked hard to move us as quickly and safely as possible.

Fast and careful

Definitely recommend this company! They did good job for me. Professional guys. My furniture and household items were safely loaded while I was on a train ride and unloaded at the new place with the help to install the queen size bed carefully

I was not happy with the change in ...

I'm not recommending [them] actually. They charged me very high ... They estimated really high and didn't reduce that price ... Unloading at my house was fine and they did a good job, but overall I'm not happy. Eventually I was left with no choice but to pay them because I had to get back my stuff.

They picked up on time and delivered ...

It was good. They picked up on time and delivered on time. They packed and wrapped everything. The movers were good. They did give me a price quote and they didn't increase that it was the same.

It was terrible, I would never use ...

It was terrible. They said my stuff would get there in at most 4 business days, it didn't get there till about 7. Then they quoted me a rate but I ended up paying a lot more. It was just all in all a bad move. When they got there the movers said that it was more than what they thought. They already knew what I had but by that time they already had my stuff packed so what was I gonna do. My dresser was damaged, there are a couple of holes in the back of my drawers. It was terrible, I would never use them again.

The movers were very professional

It was pretty smooth for the most part. Nothing seemed as though it was broken or anything. They did really well, nothing was out of place. They did everything they were contracted to do. The movers were very professional and everything went well. The price came out to a little less than the estimated price.

A job done well

Precision was incredibly pleasant, efficient and patient (we didn't exactly have all our ducks in a row!). Damian, who managed our booking, was very nice and helpful when I had weird pre-moving paniky questions. I loved everything about this moving company!

Its surprising to me that others had such bad experiences because mine was so fantastic. Atlanta van lines were so efficient it was actually really good and really cheap. I loved them so much that I referred a few of my friends to them. But one of my friends thought they were okay not as good as she expected. The other said they were really good again. So I guess it depends which mover guys you get

This is absolutely the BEST moving ...

The crew from Atlanta Van Lines arrived exactly on time and were friendly and professional through the entire 5 hour move. They were skilled in moving my items with no damages to either the items or the walls in my home. Despite the fact I was trying to pack several large pieces of furniture into a POD, these guys thoughtfully were able to arrange my items so everything fit. Highly, highly recommend!!

Easy Move

I just used AVL for a second time, and as expected, they made a very stressful day as easy as possible. These guys worked really hard, running up and down the stairs at least a million times and only took one 5 minute break to catch their breath. I was worried about an antique stained glass window in the stairway getting bumped, and I think I insulted them by suggesting we cover it up with something. They were extremely careful and everything was in its place without a scratch.

Boy, was that the best decision I've ...

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled because these guys were so amazing. My husband and I will be moving in the next two months and we had to find both a moving company and a place to store our stuff while renovations are being done on our current home. My husband pulled a bunch of moving companies off of the internet and I decided to call Atlanta Van Lines, based on the many positive reviews they received from obviously satisfied customers.

Price and service were the best

These guys are efficient, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The movers were on time for both moves, and the whole team was incredibly polite, introducing themselves, and acquainting themselves with our possessions before they dove into the moving process. They value the safety of their employees, which I admire.

small and perfect move

We were very impressed with Atlanta van lines that helped us yesterday. They arrived on time with a smile, and the full move took them 4 hours and 25 minutes. They were fast but also careful with our fragile ikea furniture, and even set up our bed for us in the new apartment. Mic gave us a quote initially, and we were happy with the final price.

Couldn't ask for better movers. Friendly guys who really know what they are doing- when I looked at how my they packed my stuff into my moving pod, it was like I was dealing with Tetris geniuses or something. the best move i have ever experienced

moving, moving, moving. I hate to move i told my wife this is the last time and we are getting a moving company this time. I was worried they would have rip me off but boy was I wrong, they made this move painless. Highly recommend them!!

I was referred to Atlanta van lines by my sister as she'd used them for a couple of her moves. I've used them for 4 times in the past year (one office move and 3 residential moves) because I like them so much. They arrive on time, quickly assess what needs to be moved and how best to fit everything into their moving truck, and promptly get to work. These guys don't waste any time!

great experience

I HATE moving, but this is the first time that I actually liked the moving company I used. I can't speak for all the teams of movers at Atlanta van liens, but the three guys who helped me were incredible. I hope their manager reads this and gives them all a bonus!

Thank you for an awesome move

This was the easiest and most well executed move I have ever had! Everyone involved were just great, from Tori who explained everything over the phone and managed to squeeze me into the schedule even though I called two days before only, to David the dispatcher who confirmed the move and made sure the crew notify my when they arrive at my home, to Joel, Eric and Oscar who handled my things with such care and respect. I was and am impressed with this operation.
