I would recommend this company to ...

Fantastic service from start to finish. I had to change the date, no problem, it wasn't any extra for Sunday. The moving men came 5 mins early after letting me know they were on route. Available Movers handled my move from NY to FL just over a week ago. They were really great at accommodating me at short notice and fitting around my timescales. The actual removal process was very efficient, despite having to move everything from a top floor flat, and he and his team were nice and friendly. Don't use these people - holding my ...

These folks do what movers do, which is to underestimate weight and cubic feet and then increase the price after they take your belongings, even though inventory is actually a little less than estimate is based.  Because I refused to pay additional undocumented charges they are holding my belongings hostage and refusing to deliver.  I filed a BBB complaint 14 days ago and they haven't responded at all.  I filed an additional complaint today with the FMCSA. In summary: 1) They only showed up on the day they confirmed because I demanded it but showed up well outside of the confirmed time window and kept me and my neighbors up until 4:30 in the morning to complete the move. 2) They have increased the price when it really should have lowered since there were items on the inventory not included in the move. They haven't documented anything to justify additional charges 3) They misquoted the insurance coverage and are either unable or unwilling to provide evidence of coverage. 4) They have threatened me with late fees when it is they who failed to collect payment at pick up. 5) They are currently holding my belongings hostage and refusing to deliver because I haven't agreed to pay additional unsubstantiated costs. We moved very comfortably

My husband and I decided to move back to our hometown after 18 years and we were so sad to leave. Available movers made our move seem like a fun thing to do. The movers were so friendly. They arrived right on time and packed everything very quickly. We had no issues while they packed and loaded all our valuables. We had sold our car. Completely reliable

I haven’t encountered a moving company as reliable as Available movers. They performed just amazingly during my last move in October. Their quote was spot on, the movers were very capable and everything was very systematic. Totally qualified

We were moving from Staten Island, NY to Hartford, CT. We didn’t know which moving company to hire. After a glowing recommendation from a friend, we chose to hire Available movers. This company really means business. The movers arrived sharp at 10 am as they were supposed to. They packed up everything with military precision. God knows who trains these guys because they seem highly trained. Their experiences paid off while carrying out huge pieces of furniture. My movers were efficient and had good ...

There were three of them. The one guy would wrap the stuff up very securely while the others moved it. And they were very efficient in that manner ... Unfortunately we did encounter traffic, but they were still very good at like keeping us updated where they were because they couldn't take the big truck on the parkway. Read more

I hired Available movers to move my stuffs from Astoria, NY to Columbus, OH without knowing much about them. It turned out to be a really good decision. I have never seen such skilled men

My biggest beef with moving companies is that they employ such amateurs. We hire them because we believe they can do the job properly, not so they can rip us off. Thank god for companies like Available movers which refuse to be like these inefficient idiots. The movers showed up on time to move my belongings from Astoria, NY to Annapolis, MD. They packed everything carefully and paid extra attention to my breakables. These four men had years of experience and it really showed. They finished the job in just 2 hours. Relocation made easier

This move had nightmare written all over. But the boys from Available movers made it so easy. I hired them to move my belongings from Albany to Dallas. The boys were just godsend. They arrived 10 minutes early on day 01 to pack up our 3000 sqft house. They did a great job packing everything. It took them around 4 hours to finish packing all our stuffs. On the next day, they came on time again and loaded everything smoothly to the vans. Frankly, we didn’t have to do a thing. It was so good to see how thoughtful the movers were. Had they taken on the job on a single appointment, they would have never finished. They divided up the work load and worked efficiently. They delivered on time and everything traveled well. They were honest

I generally hate moving because all the previous moves I had cost me too much and you would never know just how much everything is going to cost until the end. Thankfully this time I found Available movers. They were upfront with the cost and it’s stayed same at the end without any nasty drama! The staffs were also very brilliant, did the packing, loading and delivery impeccably. When they were unpacking my belongings at my new house I was expecting some damage with any of my item, but astonishingly I found everything intact. Half filled truck with another ...

So I've used Available Movers Twice. Back in January they moved my stuff from my apartment to my storage unit. The guys were awesome and I had no issues. 2 weeks ago I called again to have them move the storage and an additional pick up into my new place. They arrived with a truck that was over half full. I spoke with Sam the owner about it and he said "Everything should fit". I explained that it clearly wouldn't and I stated that the storage would barely fit, let alone everything else. This lead to the move taking many extra hours as the truck had to be packed perfectly to fit the storage contents. Then we had to drop off everything and go to the next location. I kept Sam updated all day with the delays and what was going on and he told me he'd make good on it. At the end of the day (8 hours of moving that was estimated at 4.5 and previously done in 3.5) Sam offered to take of 30 minutes of time. When I spoke him about it he said "You don't think the guys should be paid for an hour of work?" I said "How dare you take the money away from the workers, you're the one who sent a half full truck, take responsibility". He told me not to tell him how to run his business. I tipped the guys well because I do believe he actually stiffs his workers on the hours. Sam has no integrity and you should not use his company. Read more

NICE!

Just used Available movers! They were awesome. Two guys banged out my 2 bedroom apartment in about 3 hours. They were very quick and super professional! Highly recommended! They were late and could only move ...

They only did half the move and they were six hours late, so they couldn't move my other stuff. They said they would follow up with me to get some form of reimbursement ... I never heard back from them. ...Their customer service is horrible. I tried contacting them the day of the move, I could not reach anyone. The individuals who actually were moving me were not polite... They did not do the job that I had expected them to do. I would not use them again. Read more

They were very considerate of our needs! Remembered exactly what we asked them to do and executed them nicely as per our requirements. We left everything to them and they securely completed the packing and safely loaded everything into the truck. Best mover so far

Available movers did an excellent job and were hard working and the most competitive rate we could find. We've moved 3 times in the past 4 years and rate these guys the best so far. They sent 4 crews to move my 4 bedroom apartment and they were very efficient and took only one brief rest break, out of almost five hours packing and loading. They started for the new house at Dover, DE before the expected time and were very helpful in the other end. All through the process they were courteous, professional, and did not try to jack up the price like other movers would and we would highly recommend them. Read more

Available movers did a great job. Kith and his crew worked fast, were polite and friendly, and got me moved out and in without a hitch. Additional charges, a bit of damage ...

For the most part it was OK, but for the end of the move they tried to tell us there were additional charges, there weren't enough boxes.. stuff like that. So they tried to get some more money out of us there. What we're finding is that the boxes were a little under packed too. They also did some damage to the walls and carpet which we have yet to have rectified. Read more
