Well, I wasn't the one moving, it was my son, and overall it was fine, but there were some minor items that were damaged in the move, but nothing of significant value so he didn't have to file a claim. Packing when they picked up it was great, but it's whenever they transferred from the smaller truck to the bigger truck, he said it looked like they just threw his stuff on the truck, it was just not handled with the same care. The pickup was great, the delivery took a little longer than expected, but they did warn us because it was over the holidays and we do realize that there were some major weather issues going on too so that wasn't that big of a deal. The pricing was about the same as other companies, it was certainly competitive pricing, it did end up being a little higher than what they originally quoted, but the amount of cubic space that was needed on the truck was a little bit more than what we thought it would be initially.

They were quick and efficient. They were really late though, it was not so much there fault, there was a mix up with my keys so that delayed them coming to help me but the ones that came were very quick and very efficient

REALLY GOOD

My moving date changed from one day to another and they were really helpful with that. They will work with you with any obstacle you have. I fell down the stairs the day before the move so I was unable to help a lot with moving and they were able to work with me.

Good price, great service

I moved a few items from my Dad's house, such a small quantity that it fell below the minimum shipment size. Eagle Lines was one of the movers that offered a discount. The office staff worked with me to ensure that the quote had flexibility (hard to know how many boxes I would end up with). The company packed two odd-shaped items for a minimal charge. The pickup, scheduled first thing in the morning, was right on time. The delivery was a bit late, but I received regular updates about the expected arrival time, and I knew their travel time estimate was optimistic. The furniture was wrapped carefully and arrived in great shape. The boxes we packed (reused cartons) had minor damage but the contents were fine. One item the company packed had minor damage. I opted for a touch-up rather than a restoration. Since the cost was so low (only $15), the office approved cutting me a check directly rather than having me go through the complex claims process. Everyone from the initial quote, through managing the pickup/delivery/claim, and the driver and assistant was polite and kind.

The price was excellent.

They were reasonable priced and fast... expedient and courteous movers.

It was great. They were very efficient. They did it all as planned. Fit it all in the truck. The guys were really good.

They increased the price at the last ...

The quality of packing was good. But they initially promised an amount and increased the price an additional $500 at the last minute so it was difficult for me. But since it was urgent I had to pay.

Everyone was professional.

It was good, they were late with my stuff, but the guy told me it's a policy when I tell them the exact address that's when they start moving the stuff from Boston to Chicago. It was good, the people that came to pack the stuff, were professionals and the people that dropped my stuff were good as well. They set everything up correctly. There was no extra charge for anything, there were no hidden fees, so it was good.

Everything was perfect. They showed up early. They dropped everything off early. Everything was in perfect condition. All of the employees were very nice.
