I was disappointed with this company, and cannot recommend them. It was raining on the day of my move. There were things that I was told that would happen, that just didn’t happen. I was told door jambs would be wrapped, floors and stairs would be covered, workers could wear booties inside. I was told all furniture would be wrapped. Nope...didn't happen. Only one pathway from the front door into my house had flattened boxes laid down to cover a tile floor, and that was it. I had a 5 bedroom house. No other areas, including the entire upstairs carpeted areas, and the stairway, were protected. The lead guy refused to wear a face mask. You could tell the other guys did not want to wear theirs, but tried for a while. When my belongings were delivered at the new house, no one had face masks on. Furniture items with drawers were not wrapped upstairs before they were brought downstairs. One guy was handling most of the upstairs items by himself. A heavy item with drawers that he struggled with, had drawers coming open as he came down the stairs, banging into walls and corners. Also, a large IKEA bookcase was damaged with lots of scrape marks from the dolly because it wasn't wrapped. I was told I could only get 60% of its cost, when this item was clearly damaged by the workers' negligence and cutting corners and not taking the proper care, and not by accident. At the new house, I asked them to leave all boxes in the garage. I asked them to not stack them high, no more than 3. This was ignored. There was space left between the rows they made, they seemed to be proud of that, which was helpful, but at the expense of my 3 box stacking limit. I was especially upset by how many boxes were stacked UPSIDE DOWN, when I clearly marked on the top of every box I packed, THIS SIDE UP! I counted at least 15 boxes like this, including ones from my kitchen and sewing room marked fragile. This is the main reason why I cannot recommend this company. A moving company stacking boxes upside down is absolutely ridiculous!
