Bad Moving Experience

2 yrs. ago I could not find this site to leave a comment for anything. Coleman American/Allied on Joyce Dr. delivered my household goods after a very frustrating move. They were very discourteous, lacked professionalism, and really didn't care about anything except for getting the job done and going home. At one point I walked into my back yard to sit and cry over the way my furniture was handled by the movers...no regard for anything. They managed to break an entertainment center that I had for 15 yrs. I watched them bring it down off the ramp, drop it to the ground and break off the wheels and crack the bottom..and to pour salt on the wound, they kicked the wheels out of the way to the curb and I picked them up. My husband said that I wouldn't receive anything for the entertainment center if I filed a claim and that he could also fix it. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. I would suggest tho that if they are to be your moving company, find some way to be around and see how they handle someone elses' property..especially if you are a civilian...

Nasty Move

Approximately 2 1/2 yrs ago, Coleman American Moving Co. @ 2142 Joyce Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas delivered my household goods to my place of residence.As the men were bringing out my entertainment center they proceeded to break it and kick the broken pieces into the gutter in front of the house. I told them that if they were going to kick broken pieces of furniture out of the way, they should make sure the owner wasn't sitting there, as I was picking up the pieces. I never filed a claim nor do I have any intention on doing so, I just want it brought to light that if any property is destroyed by this moving company you will never get your claim filed, nor will you ever get a timly response either..We waited for 3 months, just for an apology and never got that either.
