DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS

Do NOT use these movers. I have NO idea how there could be any positive reviews for this company. I am suspicious of either fake reviews or maybe different iteration of the company, or a different company completely. This review is for Diamond Van Lines , Owner Sam Amor. Florida-based, Dania Beach. US DOT 832779 Amor Transportation DBA Daimond Van Lines. (Note there also appears to be a DIFFERENT company called Diamond PRO Van Lines, which appears different and has very good reviews on line. Do not confuse the PRO company with the one I am talking about and that we used.) Moved parents from Florida to Indy early November 2020. Called several companies; the woman Amanda who works for Sam who answers the phone and gives you the moving estimate by plugging all the info into a computer, is nice enough, but there were blatant lies, probably prompted by the owner to capture business. ("Yes we have our own fleet of trucks.”). (“Yes we have a truck going through Indy that will be leaving 2-3 days after we load you up.”) I was stationed at the pickup house in FL and when the truck arrived, it did not say “Diamond Van Lines,” it was a beat up rented Penske truck. We paid for 2 statue cartons for some valuable glass and ceramic pieces that we wanted packed professionally. DEFINITELY should have packed those ourselves (the glass sculpture arrived at destination in pieces and was just laying on the floor of the truck outside of its box, we saw as the truck was unloading,.) After Pickup, the truck did not leave FL for almost 3 weeks. Apparently there were NO scheduled additional pickups to allow the move to occur as stated a few days after our pick up. Our items apparently went into storage, and then were reloaded onto a different truck several weeks later when they were able to secure an additional pickup. Lots of damage (see below) apparently occurred during this process. Up arrival in Indy: Multiple dented and banged up boxes, wet from water damage. File cabinet drawer handle broken off Glass statue that was packed by these movers was cracked in multiple pieces. Multiple additional glass items that were bubble wrapped that should not have been broken if the boxes were handled properly were broken. Tried to scam some additional money by saying that there was more than 75 feet of distance from truck to doorway. (There was not) After the inept move, Sam wanted my mother to “sign off” on everything. She would not. My sister asked Sam who the owner of the company was. He would not answer. (”Are you going to sign this or not?”) Finally he lied and said the owner was “Solomon.” That’s all he would say. Also my sister asked Sam who his insurance company was, and again he hemmed and hawed, would not tell her, (“Are you going to sign this or not? He kept saying/). Fnally made up something, he said “Bakers insurance” a

Pleasant Surprise

Diamond Van Lines was a pleasant surprise I came across them by luck so many moving companies so many bad reviews something just caught my attention. My wife loves DIAMONDS. Seems funny but it was true so I called them and from the very beginning everything was great. I made a couple other phone calls to a few top rates companies that everybody has heard of. What the sales people were all just very dry so I decided to give Diamond a chance the movers showed up on time they were organized and professional they disassembled raft and packed a few of my fragile items and even built the cardboard crate for my grandfather clock it was amazing everything was loaded the foreman explained all the details I need to know and where I ended up on the truck and to my surprise my large 3 bedroom home between the estimate and how it actually turned out with within 150 cubic feet so sure my price went up a little bit but I would have paid even more just to have the same experience I had that day. I recommend Diamond Van Lines to all my friends and family and to anybody who reads this give them a shot you won't be disappointed....Thank you DIAMOND Van Lines.

Stress Free Moving

Diamond Van lines turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I have move before and it didn't go as promised. The company i chose Turned out to be a nightmare. Stay away from GM vanlines. I told myself i would never use a mover again.My. company needs me asap and did offer me a moving budget which was not very much. So i was nervous about having to use a mover agian. I spoke with a freind who used Diamond Van lines from Atlanta to Orlando. And he said everything went perfect. So i decided to give them a shot. The sales staff was very professional and the quote was explained in detail. The price was higher than the budget I was given so I was really hesitant but I had to do it. Let me just say tge movers picked up everyrhind , it was amazing how watching a real moving company works. I received my goods 2 weeks later which was 2 weeks earlier tgan i expected based on distance. My price actually came down a couple hundred. No damages. Actually one small mirror had a crack which i think was already there. Anyway so PLEASED . I WOULD RECOMEND DIAMOND VANLINES TO ANYONE. THEY RENEWED MY FAITH IN THE MOVING INDUSTRY...
