Just a mess. A bad experience.
They doubled the price of the quote. Just a mess. These guys came in, it was about maybe five to... a seven mile move from one house to the other. They came in at 9:00 that morning, two trucks, four people. The move ended at 2:00 the next morning. With that, charging me, doubling the quote almost from $1,600 to... $2,700...They should have let me know at some point that, "Look, we can't do if for $1,600." No one from the office called... No one came out to look. I had asked them to come out and survey. And the guy on the phone, the one I set it up with... he was not even made aware of it until I called back the next day. So it's just a bad experience. I'm a soldier, I've been around for 33 years. I've moved all over the country, all over the world, quite frankly...that's the worst experience I had. Nothing on the workers... but if it was going to exceed that amount by that much, I should have been alerted earlier. They broke some expensive stands that I got out of Italy... I called the company... this is three weeks ago, I've yet to get a claim sheet... So I stopped payment, it's in dispute now with American Express. So I guess I get a claim sheet now... and I told them I was going to do that, that I was going to put this in dispute. And I'm also going to go online and every soldier, sailor, every marine, I'm telling you, I'm going to steer away every military person that I know away from that company... Just by my rank alone and stating that I've been traveling all around the world. And let them know the military needs to stay away from these guys. I'm not going to have soldiers deal with these guys.
