This is both a customer service and delivery issue relating to Eazy Moving Corp. This was not the company I hired, but was sub contracted thru Alliance Van Lines. I would have considered the estimate to be fair, if this company handled my furniture in a proper manner. I asked and paid for a professional moving company and I was promised that the estimate included "blanket wrapping of all standard furniture items." All of my furniture was not wrapped in blankets. In fact, I put a covering on one of my chairs, and the moving company took it off and did not put ANY blankets or coverings on one of my chairs. I did not consider this to be professional, or good customer service. This company stuffed all of my furniture into a moving truck and one of my tables ended up being damaged . I relayed my complaints to both Alliance and Eazy Moving. No one seemed to think there was anything wrong with my furniture not being properly wrapped/packaged, which made me upset. Communication was not great. When Eazy Moving picked my stuff up, on 7/28, they did not relay that they were showing up to my place until several hours the day of (I was expecting a call 24 hours prior to pick up). When Eazy Moving picked my stuff up, I received a receipt for what I paid for, and left a tip. I was very clear on the delivery date, 8/8/21, and communicated the date multiple times with Alliance, Eazy Moving's lady who handles the calls, and the men who picked up my stuff. Eazy Moving changed the date to 8/7/21. I relayed that I would work with them. On 8/7, I get a call from the movers asking "when are you getting here?" When I arrived to NC, I told them when I arrived, and they said they would be right over. I had to wait an hour for them, due to a "pitstop." They did not relay that it would take an hour when they said they would be "right over." When I saw how my furniture was not properly packaged/wrapped, I got upset and the movers didn't seem to understand why I was upset. They didn't seem to understand the the importance of properly packaging furniture. Unlike the men that picked up my furniture, the Eazy Moving crew that dropped my furniture off did not give me a receipt, nor did he give me change (it was only a few dollars, so not a huge financial deal, but I didn't think that this was professional.) I have not seen an electronic receipt as of yet and I am not 100% certain that all my clothes were delivered. I was told multiple times that I would get a form to file a claim, Eazy Moving has not provided that to me yet. I have retained moving services in the past and I have received better customer service. This was my first interstate moving experience., and it was NOT Easy. Moving is already stressful and this experience added more stress. I will never recommend this company or use them again.
