Damaged My front Door
Erics Moving and Hauling was a poor experience, despite their good price. They arrived late for pickup, got in an accident on the way to my new place and did heavy damage to the front door my old house which they refuse to return my calls/emails about.My last email was requesting a rebate of $100 for cover the time and materials to repair the doors.

DO NOT USE!
They showed up 3 hours late, did not bring the ordered wardrobe boxes which required us to make 3 additional round trips to bring our clothes and shoes, did not load everything they were supposed to and then damaged several pieces of furniture with scratches and several pieces had chunks of wood removed. They also damaged a wall in the new house. This move occurred 9/29/2012 and NOTHING has been done to compensate for the damages. They stated they were insured but have NOT produced a claim form nor have they given me the name of their insurer but in fact offered me $315 and then $350 which does not even cover the stated .60 a pound on the contract. The furniture is solid wood and had been purchased new from Haverty's less than 15 months earlier and I provided them with the actual weights of the furniture as well as photos of the damage. I contacted my attorney who sent them notice (which is when the offer went from $315 to $350). This will not even cover the dost of having the furniture repaired! Avoid them like the plague.

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE MOVING FROM AN APARTMENT TO OUR BRAND NEW HOUSE,MY HUSBAND FOUND THIS COMPANY ONLINE AND THEIR PRICE WAS GOOD.DURING THE MOVE HIS MOVERS DAMAGED OUR WALL WE WERE TOLD BY ERIC IN AN EMAIL TO OBTAIN ESTIMATES AND HE WOULD SEND US A CHECK,WE OBTAINED 3 DIFFERENT ESTIMATERS AND WENT WITH THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE ONE $100 TO REPAIR THE DAMAGES.ERIC REFUSED TO PAY HIS EXACT WORDS "I CANT SPEND TOO MUCH ON LITTLE CLAIMS AS YOURS",HE STOPPED RESPONDING TO OUR EMAILS ALL TOGETHER.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
