they broke my both TVS and Bed

This company is a total FRAUD. I put the order with them and they sent another company to do the job. Once they had all my stuff in the truck, they raised the price exponentially. Instead of charging 375 they said its 1400. I had to call the cops when we reached destination. They broke our 2 TV and Bed. around $2000+ loss plus the fee, plus hassle of calling cops. I recorded everything and will be suing them in court for the damages. I have all the proof. They said they only want cash and got it so can't be traced back to them - but I called cops again a second time and both luxury relocation and Excel Carriers, 57 midland ave. elmwood park nj 07407, will be sued based on that. got all the evidence I need on tape as well when spoke to their boss. I just want them to lie in court so they can be arrested for a very long time.

Horrible Family Owned Business

Looks like all of their friends left 5 Star reviews. Horrible and dishonest! I was quoted a price for a studio apartment and was told I didn't have much so it will be a simple cheap move. The price was gauranteed by the manager Anthony bit when we got to the new place the movers would not give me my stuff until I paid more money. Horrible!

Very bad moving experience

These guys are the worst, they broke our furniture, ripped our organizer, even damaged our walls, no reply when asked for compensation, please don't hire them

Awesome Experience

Had a great moving experience with these guys. They were on time, showed up with a great attitude, and packed up all my things with care. I moved from Jersey to California and they quoted me a great price and more importantly, they stuck to the quote :) which is rare. Nothing broke either which I was honestly shocked about. I figured all my stuff, going so far, at least one thing would break....but no...everything showed up in the same condition it left, and again, on time. Would recommend these guys for anyone, really did a professional job!

Above and Beyond the Call of Duty

I recently hired Excel Carriers for my local move from Garfield,NJ to Fort Lee,NJ. I selected Excel Carriers from a list of about 5 different local movers which I had reserached online. I hired Excel Carriers based on their competitive price,BBB rating and positive internet presence. Regardless,I was still very uneasy because of all the horror stories I had read online about the moving industry in general. Excel Carriers proved to be an exception to the bad reputations that most moving companies have. On move day,the crew arrived on time and in a very energetic and mission-oriented state of mind. Their positive attitudes and energy was contagious. They completed the job according to my contract agreement and charged me what I expected to pay. Not a penny more. There was no damage to any of my furniture and the entire moving process was seamless. I was very happy and fully satisfied with the end result. I would definitely recommend Excel Carriers to anybody looking for a mover.

True Professionals

I registered online for my local move on a website called Billy.com. Once I submitted my moving details and personal information, my phone started ringing off the hook. It seemed that every moving company in the Tri-State area was now calling me and competing for my business. I found it sort of exciting at first, but soon it just got plain annoying. After speaking to 7 different moving companies I stopped answering my phone and decided to pick from one of companies I had spoken to already. The only problem I encountered was that all the sales reps told me the exact same things and they all sounded like they were reading a script from a cue or dummy card. The only sales rep that stood out was Anthony Jr. from Excel Carriers. He seemed honest and sincere and explained everything in detail from start to finish. Additionally, being a Gulf War veteran myself, I was impressed with the company’s military background and staff. I proceeded to hire Excel Carriers for my move and was offered 4hrs of service for a total price of $450. On the day of my move, the three men that Anthony Jr. sent to my house to conduct the work totally blew me away. I was very sceptical and was expecting men off the streets but that was not the case. The men were true professionals! You can tell they were experienced and worked as a team to complete my job in less than 4hrs. They even prorated my charges and charged me 1/2hr less. I used the extra $50 as a well-deserved tip for the men. I must state that I made a wise decision in hiring Excel Carriers. My move was a complete success!

Excel Carriers

I had a great experience with this company. I've had to move a lot for work in the past. This is by far one of the best moving company I've used. I called for an estimate and they called me back very quickly. I had my consultation with Anthony who was very knowledgeable and courteous. He patiently answered all my questions and made me feel at ease from the beginning. The day of the move ..The movers arrived on time and began working right away. Those guys worked really hard and the whole time they had smiles on their faces. They wrapped my furniture and were careful with all of my stuff, and at the end of the move my family was surprised with a beautiful basket full of yummy treats inside. What a surprise!!! It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end!

They communicated well.

It was good. They came on time. They came with all the stuff to like tape and move the things over. They communicated really well. And they came to the new place on time as well.

Everything Went Beautifully

One of the items on the list to be taken was a refrigerator and after the move had taken place, the refrigerator was left there. My husband helped so they could move more boxes and stuff but other than that, everything went beautifully.

Good but...

Leading up to the move, it was very good, very professional we had a deal in place of what was going to happen, a good estimate; I mean it was more expensive than I wanted to pay for some other people that were quoting me, but I thought he was very professional and we had a good understanding of the agreement. Come time of the move, the deal did not go as they said they would. The reason I went with them is that they told me I could pay with half credit card half cash, and the day of the move, that was not the case. So that kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. But the team they sent there were very good, very professional, very efficient, they did a great job, but other than that one experience, everything else was good.

Great Job!!!

Finally!!! A company that doesn't disappoint. They delivered exactly what they offered. From a Curteous and Proffesional Staff to Not Experiencing any Surprises at the end. They cane they wrapped and loaded,helping me disassemble my beds and delivered in the same fashion. They unwrapped in front of us to ensure all our furniture was safe and left all our rooms pretty much set up after reassembling my beds and putting everything in the rooms they were asked too. Great Team!! Thank you for a Great Job!!!

Best Moving Company

Recently, I needed to set up a local move in the Madison area – made all the more difficult because I was trying to arrange such from another state and there was a family medical issue involved that made the situation very fluid and uncertain at times. Fortunately, I ended up speaking with Terry who guided me through the entire process. I quickly discovered that Terry was a real professional in his line of work as he patiently answered the multiple questions I had and inspired my confidence in him and his crew. Of equal importance to me was the fact Terry was “a really nice person” – that was meaningful and helpful because of the medical issue, which Terry was very understanding of and sensitive to. Despite the fact that I needed to change the day of the move a couple of times, Terry and his crew were very flexible in accommodating me even arranging for a move on a Sunday. To make a long story short, turns out the medical issue took a positive turn and we no longer needed the move at all. I called Terry, explained the situation and he was thrilled the medical issue had been resolved and “no worries” about having to cancel the move. He wished me well and welcomed me back any time. Can’t say enough about this wonderful organization.
