We couldn't have asked for a better crew for our first moving experience! Harry was very easy to work with, from getting a quote to confirming arrival times. We had a complicated move, with only some bedrooms in a larger house moving across town. Harry and his crew could not have been more professional or efficient, and continually made sure we were not missing any items. Once in our new space, they worked with us to position furniture to our liking, and cleaned up as they went. We could not be more appreciative of their service and have already recommended Excellent Choice Movers to another friend moving this summer!

Great guys and company, I would hire ...

These guys are awesome! They showed up on time and were ready to work. They took care of all our items wrapping anything that was fragile. They packed the truck so efficiently, down to a science. They stayed positive with great attitudes during our 6 hours together. They made sure all the unloaded items were in the right rooms and areas to ensure the unpacking process was easier for us. We hired 3 movers to move a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, which I suggest if you have a place that size or bigger.

This was my first time hiring movers and it was SO worth it. One of our friends recommended this company after having a great experience. Our lease ended on a Friday and started on a Saturday which they were able to accommodate .They called 30 minutes before arrival to let us know the expected timing. They sent a big team, all guys were super polite / friendly and extremely efficient especially considering we were on a 5th floor walk up at the end of a Friday night! All of our furniture made it through the move in perfect condition and no dishes were broken.

I was recommended Excellent Choice Movers and am glad I was. Harry was the crew leader and really knew his stuff and understood I had a time table to work with. He, Carlos and Efrin worked their tails off to make sure they got the job done as quickly as possible. To top it off, the move in location was a three story walk up and my furniture is heavy as hell. These guys killed it and did it without complaining which in my experience is a rare thing with movers. They also were professional and gave handshakes all around while thanking me for the opportunity. The gentleman who handles the phone scheduling is also very professional and when you hang up you feel like you've made a good decision in your choice of moving companies. Definitely give these guys a call if you want moving done right.

Super!!!

After getting 100 different recommendations for movers, Excellent Choice Movers won my search for having an incredibly clear estimate/invoice, the option to reassemble some furniture, reasonable prices, and quick email response time (but not overwhelming, like some moving companies who started calling me multiple times a day!) They sent over all their info, we were able to get a COI over to my new building, and they confirmed the night before. I booked early and scheduled myself for the first move, which meant they actually arrived a few minutes early for an 8AM start, which to me, was awesome. I did have a friend with me to stay with the truck because this is NYC and parking for a moving truck can be a real pain. Two dudes (forgot your names, sorry!) were able to get me out of my 5th floor walk-up pretty quickly and into my new place SUPER fast. They assembled my bed and were on their way by ~11:30. The whole time they were super communicative, careful with my delicate boxes, and confirmed where they would put the heavier boxes. There were no hidden fees or surprises, and their assistance made moving really straightforward.

HIGHLY recommend them.

These guys are hands down the best! they are superb at communicating. from the minute i reached out to them Ed was super quick to respond. i needed a very specific job that involved moving a sofa they accommodated everything i needed. they weren't the cheapest option (nor the most expensive), but it was worth every penny for the ease of communication and coordination. they were right on time, which is no easy feat in new jeresy. i am seriously wow-ed by their services and would HIGHLY recommend them.

This company is awesome. We have used them now 3 times! They are always professional, on time, and fast. Most recently we had wayyyy too much stuff and we weren't as well organized but they wrapped and used moving blankets to ensure our items were well taken care of. They are extremely easy to work with and are willing to help go the extra mile to place items in the rooms and areas they belong. We had a lot of outdoor furniture items and they even moved all into place in our backyard. I highly recommend them. Hopefully we won't need them again anytime soon but if we do, we will be using them again! Thank you !

Overall this was a decent moving ...

Overall this was a decent moving experience. Being prior military, I have moved more times than I can remember. On the plus side, the two guys who came to my house, hustled from start to finish and it was over 5 hours total for loading, transport and unloading. On the down side, the sales process while smooth and very corporate, lacked some communication with their team on the ground. For example, the booking team specifically said to leave drawers in dressers. The movers were shocked as they would always prefer less weight. Would I use them again? Probably.

Excellent Choice Movers helped us move our household from storage to a new apartment. Mark helped us set up the move by phone, and was consistent in getting back to us with any questions we had. Harry and Sean were our movers, and though a few minutes late, were fast movers, polite, and extremely careful with and respectful of our belongings. THIS WAS THE BEST MOVE BY FAR!

We are military and we have moved moved every 1-3 years. AND THIS WAS THE BEST MOVE BY FAR!The guys gave us a call 15 Min before arrival, which was still within the arrival time. They were fast, professional, and respectful. They had their own system and knew what worked the best for the move. So, whatever they recommended we went with it. Our move was from a 3rd floor apartment with no elevators to a 4th floor apartment but, they didn't complain one bit. Also, we had a lot of glass furniture that needed to be packed right, nothing was broken, scratched, damaged. Everything left in one piece and came in one piece! I was really surprised that it finished within hours. When I talked to one of the consultant, she told me of an estimate and it took less than what she had mentioned. I would recommend anyone and everyone who wants a great move! And thank you again to the crew that worked with us and our dogs :) We will be calling this company again if there is another move.

They were on time and fast. We got everything to the new place and moved in quickly. Navigating the city and moving apartments are definitely tricky but they made it easy for me and I'll definitely use them again for my next move!

I've used Excellent Choice Movers three times, and they've been quick and efficient. I don't have a huge amount of stuff, or anything particularly valuable, but they did move several heavy pieces of furniture (with stairs) and disassembled and reassembled my bed for each move. Overall they were friendly and easy to communicate with. They helped set up my carpets and furniture in the new place rather well, even offering suggestions to improve the placement of a few items.

People, just book them. Everything about Excellent choice Movers is outstanding. I used them three months ago moved from Florida to Georgia, and recently hired them again for another move (yes I moved again in three months). The key reason why I booked them for the first move was because of Olivia's communication skill. She was straightforward and clear. Unlike other moving companies, Olivia's emails were very personable. It was simple, to the point and friendly. Both of the actual moves were easy breezy.They wrapped everything with blankets and planned out what to move first etc beforehand as a team. The way they work made me, as a customer feel taken care of.

Writing a brief note to say how great this service was - fast, prompt, nice, and affordable. Used for a move from Texas to New Jersey. The crew was done in under 2 hours. ALSO, want to note that this has amazing customer service and they were the first service to respond to me with a quote, work out booking details, and answer my questions. This was a big plus in deciding to work with them. Highly recommend!

Amazing

We moved from Indy to Ft Worth, Texas last summer. Our driver was great. They helped pack, load and of course unload in Texas. Hard work and he was incredibly sick at the time. We are forever thankful and grateful to them. We wish them well. Hardest job and they do it day after day. Amazing.
