LIARS, CROOKS, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER ...

THESE PEOPLE SHOWED UP LATE, EXTORTED MONEY FROM MY HUSBAND. ONLY HAD 2 PEOPLE TO LOAD OUR HOUSE. TOOK THEIR TIME KNOWIND WE HAD THE NEW OWNERS MOVING IN THAT EVENING. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL SOMEONE, NOT ONLY DID THEY HANG UP ON ME BUT FLAT OUT LIED. THIS WAS IN 2019 I CAN NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE, (CROOKS) ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. WHAT THEY DID TO US, HOLDING OUR STUFF HOSTAGE, OUTRAGOUSE PRICE INCRESES AND LIE AFTER LIE. NO ONE REGULATES THESE COMPANIES AND AS I SEE THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS.....DO NOT HIRE THEM

Do not use these THEIVES

DO NOT USE THESE THEIVES!!! We originally went with Executive moving because they have a pretty good salesman. He takes us through of what would happen from start to finish, gave us good discounts even military because our son is currently serving. We had this move scheduled 3 mths in advance, paid a deposit and explained that we would most likely need our own truck because we have allot of stuff and a few very heavy items. We were promised that we would have our own truck and that they would have their best movers. When the time came for moving, we were given a 2 day window of when the move would begin and end. The first day came, scheduled to be there between 8 - 12, 12:30 rolled by with no phone call. When I called and asked what was going on, I was told "oh the truck is already full and we were going to call around 2:30 pm to let you know what time tomorrow". I basically told the operator, that that made no sense to call me 2 hours after they were supposed to be there to tell me they weren't coming. Then was told, tomorrow 3-5 pm. This got me upset because we already planned that they were going to pick up our stuff TODAY and we were leaving tomorrow (this was a move from CA to NV). "Oh well you guys have to be there for the movers to get your stuff". So basically since the plan was to use movers, we were left to wait for them to show up. So instead of leaving to the new house the next morning we had to wait until they were done the next day. Next day...11 am got a call from Executive. " They filled the truck again and won't be able to come today" this is pretty much where I went off on them about we are supposed to be on the road this morning but because of their failure to keep their schedule I'm having to mess with mine. "Oh we're sorry but someone still has to be there for the movers, we can be there tomorrow between 1-4 pm". I called my husband who was already at the new house, because he was waiting for them to be there today. We decided to just have me, the kids and animals go up and he would come back to meet the movers the next day. Next day, remember this is day 3 and extra day after their moving window. It's passed 1 pm and my husband is getting furious because he drove 4 hrs to meet these idiots. I call Executive and get the run around about the movers driving and can't pick up the phone, we'll have the driver call you with an ETA. The driver calls me and I informed him to call my husband because he's the one waiting for them, getting pissed off by the minute. A few minutes later, my very pissed off husband tells me he cancelled the move because they filled the truck again and wouldn't be able to make it today. So we spent more time and a few extra days to do the rest of the move ourselves. We paid for a truck and scheduled/hired movers in CA to help load the truck and then in NV to help unload and setup. This should have been the plan from the get go because it costed half the amount of the move the charlatons at Executive were

Zero Stars. You cannot trust this ...

The movers were late to show up, asked if they could have some of my things, damaged some property, and likely stole a box with my son's items in it. I used this company through a broker for a recent move. My move date was 2/11/2020. When they picked up my goods, the team was several hours late to show up, which should have been my first red flag. During the move, one of the movers asked if they could have a large Powerwheel Jeep that was in my garage for their child. I consented and said they could have it, as my kids honestly didn't use it very much. This should have been the second red flag about this company. When my goods were delivered, my king bed frame was damaged beyond repair. I didn't put in a claim for this damage because the representative at pickup advised they only pay "cents on the dollar" for damaged items. My wife and I took it as a loss and just went and purchased a new one here in Florida. With all that went wrong above, I simply would have just moved on and never dealt with this business again. However, while unpacking, we found that the box labeled "XBox" was missing. This contained my 7 year old son's XBox and his games. Shame on us for labeling it what it was and letting them know what was inside. It appears the box was stolen. Since no other items went missing and their employee had previously asked for some of our toys for their child, I believe it's likely they saw this box and took it. There's no other explanation for why this is the only box that did not arrive. Here is some additional information about my experience. I went through United American Movers (a broker) and they did the quote. Their quote was about 40% of what they charged the day the items were picked up. They claimed it was because the cubic feet quoted by the broker was wrong. I paid the higher amount ($9,000 vs. $4,000 and some change). I was promised 45 days free storage and then a rate of $240/month after that 45 days since I was buying a home here. Well 2 days before the 45 day mark, they called me and told me my items had to be out or they were charging more then $1,000 per month for the storage. I had to locate a storage unit, take delivery there, and then move everything myself after I closed on my home. This was a nightmare. Stay away from this company. Not only because of their lack of punctuality, care for your belongings, and poor price quoting, but because you cannot trust them with your household goods.

Are these people kidding??

Everyone who's claiming to have had a great experience - really??!? I'm envious of your luck! Not only was it frustrating to keep hearing a different estimate of delivery each time, our "quality assurance" agent was MIA and responding several days later, but - when our stuff arrived - over a third of it was missing!!! And when we started inquiring what happened - they became so rude, and it quickly turned into a hopeless situation... It has been a terrible experience. Absolutely terrible... These people don't deserve your money.

Do not use these people! They went through my boxes and stole stuff. Many of my wood furniture pieces were broken,boxes smashed,chairs missing. They will not respond to my calls. And all this headache for $10,000. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND Executive Moving,they are crooks.

Booked in Nov 19 for Jan 2020 move ... ...

I booked this with their 'broker' back in November because my apartment lease was over January 13th, 2020. I have my 60 days notice. I was told they would pick up January 9th or 10th and have my belongings in Agoura Hills on the 13th or 14th. It's now the 21st and I haven't heard from anyone nor do I have my belongings. I only backed enough to sustain me through the weekend and now I'm sleeping with my dogs on their dog beds in front of the fireplace at night. I called both my credit card companies and filed disputes for "Services Promised/Not Performed" for payment of the original deposit, the payment of the first 're-quote of increased space' and also the payment of the 3rd 're-quote for additional space' at time of pick up. Everyday I call, no one will give me an answer other than it's on a manifest and you should be getting a call from us shortly with a schedule. I'll GLADLY reverse the disputed charges AND pay the final amount via USPS money order .... but ANSWER ME! Tell me SOMETHING!!

A bargain that will only bring you ...

Setting aside the fact they they significantly low-balled the price and we ended up paying $6800 to move 3 rooms of furniture and 90 boxes. I was told they use IKEA size furniture for their estimates. They do this all over the phone. So they estimated we'd need 508 cubic ft of truck space, which was ridiculously low. We needed nearly 1200. Based on their estimate, they sent just two guys to load. It took them nearly 10 hours to pack and load. Okay, done is done. So where is my furniture. Look up their phone number and you find various company and personal names. The guy that packed was a runner with a small truck that takes it to a site where they combine loads to fill a truck going to your same destination area. No one can tell me when I will get my furniture. They say 3-7 days from our first delivery date. The broker told us we couldn't put a first delivery date down that was less that 5 days from pickup. So we are at day 5, oh, but that is just 3 days after the first delivery date. Seven days would put the latest delivery on Tuesday. But they don't guarantee the delivery. Everyday we call them they say that the truck is being loaded or they are building the manifest, or something. But no one can tell me when I will get my stuff.

Meticulously Moved all Possessions

Professional movers are hard to come by. Normally movers are very scatterbrained and overworked. But these movers proved to act and operate differently. Their actions proved that. They orchestrated my move in a systematic manner by carefully packaging and transporting all of my boxes and furniture the right way. Also,the antique furniture and miscellaneous items were handled with precision,as if they had years of experience with handling that type of antique. Happy to be proven wrong by a moving company.

From Cali to Seattle

Moved me from California to Seattle without running into any speed bumps along the way. Formidable Moving Company

I consider this moving company our saviors!! They were able to move us completely last minute, the SAME DAY we called. I figured this was fate smiling down on me, because it couldn’t just be a coincidence that they happened to have availability on the day our scheduled moving company cancels on us! Not only was Executive Moving and Storage able to move us last minute, but they really hustled to make sure we were meeting our deadline. The pick up and drop off were executed professionally with the security of our things in mind as a top priority. They ended up fulfilling their end of the deal to the highest standards imaginable! Very professional moving company! They deserve an award for being able to help us out last minute! The final price was also not much more than what the other company charged. And this didn’t include a last minute moving fe either. Amazing!

Move Never Happened

Driver was negligent, had an accident while on cell phone and we lost pretty much everything. Movers will pay nothing now after a year of fighting with them. Terrible service. DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. They used to be West Coast Movers...don't be fooled.

Worst moving company don't use them

I moved from WA to NV and my quote I receive was no where near the original price. They quoted me for 400 cubic feet and the final was 680 cubic feet. Tt was like another $900 extra. On delivery, all my plates, glasses, coffee cup were broken nothing could be salvage. My dining chair was broken. My triple drawer dressers is broken does not stand up right. My sofa bed looks wet and has water stains, it was brand new. Seveb of my boxes are missing and my Cal King Mattress, which I paid $3000, is missing and box springs. I called customer service like 20 times before someone answered, I had to hang up and keep calling back. They broke my computer desk to the point it no longer usable. I movers seemed to know stuff was missing because he tried to bring someone else's bed to my delivery. When I told him that's not my bed he was not even shock, he just look at me like he already knew. Overall it was a very expensive move and my bed was the most expensive of all, I'm not even going to get a replacement for it with the $.60 cents/lbs insurance they have. I would never use them again ever and no one should go through the heartache and pain I went through. Beware!!!!!!!! They are the poorest moving company around.

WORST COMPANY EVER IN ANY CATEGORY

I have moved about every three years most of my life, and this was by far the worst experience in any dealing with any company ever. Let's start with Sales - We were specifically looking for a mover that would load our belongings on ONE truck, and not unload that truck until it got to our destination. We also made sure to tell sales that it had ot be a smaller truck, becuase we were moving into an apt where anything large wouldn't fit (we also noted that on teh contrcat during pick up). That was what was promised by our sales rep. Just as our loaders were finishing, they mentioned they were driving to Vegas and were taking that truck elsewhere for another pickup. By this time our house was packed, and I had a new job to get to four states away. Then Customer Service - We called CS the day fo our move to verify that our belongings were not getting off the truck.. The woman in CS "promised" us that our stuff would not leave teh truck Note - Under the promise that our belongings would not move, we did not opt for the higher level of insurance. Once they had half of their money and all our belongings they drove off. After a couple days we called to inquire about the status of our move. We went four days of email, texting, and calling to every dept and phone number we had, no one answered the phone. We were minutes away from filing a police report in case the company had just folded up and disappeared when we got a text with the status that confirmed that our belongings had been unloaded, and was going to be loaded onto an 18 wheeler, which we reminded them wouldnt fit in our complex. After two weeks we were given our 24 hour notice of delivery. Two guys show up at 4pm in an 18 wheeler, and decide they can not fit in the complex and need to rent a uhaul to shuttle the belongings from the 18 wheeler into the complex, which I told them 8 hours before wouldn't fit. By 4:30 the uhauls had closed, so we had to wait til the next day. (side note: our air mattress sprung a leak the night before, we asked them if the could give us the box springs and mattress, which were accessible and visible from back of the truck, but teh drivers balked becasue they weren't allowed to give us anything until we paid in full, not even a bed to sleep on) 65% of our belongings were damaged. Every piece of furniture (book cases, wardrobes, couch, chairs etc) was damaged. Most boxes were damaged, the only things to survive unscathed were clothes, sheets and towels. We even had a box disappear, when we called Cust Service they said "oh, we will check, sometimes our movers forget a box or two in the warehouse when they are transferring loads", we never did hear back from them. Based on their promise to not unload our belongings until destination I took lower insurance, had I known they would have transferred it, A) I would have called another mover or B) I would have gotten better insurance,

Avoid this company!

This is the 4th moving company I have used in 10 years. This experience is not common, all other companies have performed much better. Save yourself the headache and use someone, anyone else. While there are some positive reviews posted elsewhere, I would not risk the potential hassle this company offers. Brief summary of issues follows: - Move was schedule 3 weeks in advance. Missed pickup by full 24 hours, zero notification. They confirmed pickup both 1 day before, and 1 hour before (by our calling them, not them reaching out to us), only to miss the pickup window completely. Notified us they weren't going to make it 15 minutes AFTER missing window. - Pickup reschedule was not a priority. Was not given at time of late initial notification, was not given the next morning, finally confirmed 3 hours before pickup, a full 24 hours later. Caused us to wait around for almost 2 full days for them. - Told verbatim, our move was "not a priority, based on size" [1 bedroom apt] after making down payment, when trying to reschedule from their failed first pickup. Unacceptable customer service approach. - Various items were damaged during loading. Items marked "fragile" or "this end up" were ignored and put in sideways or on the bottom. If you make the mistake of chosing this company, get full insurance! - Attempts to contact company after goods picked up all allegedly have to be handled by customer service. Customer service is non-existant. CS does not answer direct calls. Waited over 1 week for a response to daily phone calls/emails because did not know status of move. Other reviews (Yelp, FB, Google+, BBB, Yellow Pages) all post the same thing - it is true. Initially did not call/email them daily, but this seems to be the only way to get any response. - Despite CS lack of response, and others in company acknowledging this, no one else seems to be able to help. In our case, a constant run-around when calling company to get any updates on status for 3 mysterious weeks. Regardless of call reason, they always refer you to Customer Service after they have your items. - Customer service reluctant to call on phone, regardless of nature or urgency or your request. Email is the preferred method of contact, despite the situation. - Move price raised by nearly $200 (12+%) after pickup, after being assured this was a high end estimate. - Fraud: company posts an innaccurate BBB rating on their website. A- posted on website, B posted on BBB. - Driver said move should take 7 - 10 days (unclear if he meant business or regular), but we're currently looking at a business day 18 delivery at best (to their credit, within their contract of 30 business days). This seems consistant with their "say one thing, do another" approach. - Compensation was offered for lack of communication

We were charged $2300 more because the ...

They ultimately looked at everything via Skype and they said that that provides an accurate estimate, so they saw all of our items, they had all of the measurements ... And they gave us a quote of $3500 and then ultimately what happened was, when the movers arrived on pick up day, that quote went from $3500 to $5800 plus. ...The people, the movers who showed up, the foreman said, "We had no idea that you had a garage and you had all these things in the garage." ... They didn't list the items because my husband had a lot of gym items ... They just put down "gym" as one item and then went ahead and charged us per item. ...They didn't include that in the estimate at all when two of the representatives saw that.

Just don't do it!!!!

Do not use these people under any circumstances. They were days late in their promised pickup time. They moved my furniture from Redondo Beach to a Las Vegas warehouse instead of to Bonita Springs FL. They then demanded $800.00 additional to the $1500.00 I already paid to complete the move. This was a one bedroom apartment and the move cost me $2400.00. They had no good explanation why it was going to be so much more.. I had no choice but to pay the extra money as there was no other way to get my belongings. I have read on Google that others have had this experience. When the furniture finally arrived it was days later than promised and I was in Europe. I had to fight with the driver who tried to extort more money from me by saying he couldn't get the truck close to my condo. I knew this to be untrue since I have moved in and out of this condo before. They basically threw my belongings into my condo and did not set up the furniture as was promised, instead, asking $200.00 cash from my neighbor to do the setup. They destroyed a desk and nightstand in the process and "lost" my surround sound bar. They offered me through arbitration $200.00 total. Do not use this company

Do Not use this company! After talking with the owner on a few occasions I wrote this letter below and we spoke again, he asked me to give him until Monday to reply. Well that was almost a month ago, did not call me and won't return my calls or emails. Micheal,Now that we finally have our belongings, I would like to discuss the move with you and see were we on before I do anything else. I will give you a few quick highlights: We choose your company for two reasons, price and timing. We were promised a 7 to 10 day window, in writing. Please note we knew it was a holiday prior to committing to the time frame and the cars made it her within the time frame. The move was supposed to be on Friday the 19th, your crew showed up at 5pm on the 19th. They took one look at the work order and stated that this load should have been the first load and not the second of the day and that there was no way they would be able to do the load that day. They worked for a few hours and returned the next day to complete the job, we finished around 2 or 3 pm. On the 19th we had to stay at a local hotel as all the beds were already taken apart. So we started off a day late, which delayed our trip and as we were driving we were a day late in getting into NC and did not arrive until Christmas eve. After the holidays we called your office and were told our move was on its way and that we would get a call on Sunday to update us as to when we would receive the truck. I did not receive, so I called and was informed at that the truck had left that morning as it was waiting for a shipment to New York which was running late. When I called on Monday I was told that the load still had not left but that it would that day. The reason we wanted the move to be completed in the 7 to 10 windows was due to the fact we were getting married on the first with a few family and friends and as we were cooking (crazy to cook your own wedding but its what we do) my smoker and items I needed were on the truck. We borrowed some items and purchased the others that we needed. Anyway on New Years eve I found out the truck had still not left, but was assured it would. On Saturday the 3rd, when I called I found out the truck had still not left! They said it would leave that day and I would have the stuff on Wednesday or Thursday, well we finally got our stuff on Sunday after being told every day that it would be there the following day. Please note upon delivery, no inventory was taken by your driver, we have no idea if all of our stuff is here and due to the fact that some went into storage it might be some time before we find out. There seems to be one rug missing and some damaged items (how do we proceed on the damaged items?). They broke a lot

They had good price, they had good customer service all of that, and they broke a lot. They busted my TV like the stuffing on the inside, it's like an insulation, is coming out but they totally busted my TV. They busted a desk in so many pieces that the delivery guys actually threw it in the trash for me, I asked them to. They busted an irreplaceable picture frame, I can not find another one like it and it came as a set with other ones. So basically it sucks because then it won't match. They busted my TV cabinet in several pieces. My boxes, thank god I packed so well and wrapped everything bubble wrap and used popcorn, because my boxes were smashed and torn up. I am not kidding you. It wasn't the guys that loaded my stuff up and it wasn't the guys that unloaded them, it was the other guys in between. They moved it from one truck to another. They said they took the small truck that they picked my stuff up in to a warehouse and then transferred it all to a semi in the warehouse. It was the warehouse guys. You have no idea the boxes were so completely smashed. They did quote me beforehand and then they tried to nickel and dime me. I found out some things from other movers before they came, they said did they tell you there's gonna be an extra charge for this and an extra charge for that. Then I called them back and they said oh yea there's this there's that and then I'm like oh great. So I agreed to it it was all fine, that all worked out. Then they tried to overcharge me on my invoice. I kept getting emails before I found out the estimate, I kept getting new estimates from them. I got 4 different estimates and I couldn't figure out why and so then they fixed it and lowered the whole price to make up for it.

Everything was great except for the ...

Everything was great except for the fact that we didn't receive all of our items. Some of the things I've been going to look for, I cannot find boxes and one was also a bulk item, a $400 office chair. To be honest one of my jewelry boxes was destroyed and the jewelry fell out. Two of necklaces were gone, the boxes that they were in were completely open and the necklaces were out of it. Our Lg soundbar to our TV was completely scratched. When we gave it to them it was brand new we only had it like 2 weeks prior to that, and it has a huge deep scratch. When we gave it to them they said they were gonna wrap it, it was wrapped up in a towel like a beach towel. They ended up giving us a 10% discount in top of the final price on account of my husband being military. It was like $200 less than what they had originally quoted us.

It wasn't a great experience

It wasn't a great experience. All of my stuff was late. It took them three weeks to get my stuff from one place to another. On top of that, I missed my flower vase. I didn't realize it at the time that they were missing my flower vase. Third was my dresser and my TV stand, they were broken.

Didn't tell us about extra charges up ...

She (the salesperson) was misleading. As my husband was reading about the company, he read that they charge extra for steps, and she didn't mention that. She didn't mention that they charge an elevator fee. Everything should be out on the table, out front.

Real good experience!

It was real good, my stuff is in storage at the moment, so they'll have a couple months to send my stuff out. The girl I worked with, Brittany, she was really good. They wrapped all my stuff with blankets and shrinkwrap. I would recommend them!
