Hard worker and professional

We had a long distance move from Bethesda md to Orlando FL , handled by Expert Home moving , which went better than we expected. The loading of the truck went very quickly and the truck was packed expertly! When we unloaded, the crew put everything where we wanted. Of course it had to be raining that day, but everything was well protected and professional, If I’ll move again in the future, Expert Home moving will be our first and probably only call.

Great moving experience in

This company Absolutely the best. I've moved at least 8 times over the past 22 years and these guys are an order of magnitude better than anyone I've ever used. Extremely courteous, reliable, fast, highly skilled at moving and packing, extremely ethical a rarity in that business in my experience,and fair priced for the service they provide. And an unbelievable can-do attitude by everyone involved. I very seldom write reviews, but I had to this time. These guys deserve more than 5 stars,Could not recommend them more highly. My only complaint is that they don't operate in Oregon where I'm moving so I can't hire them there. Don't look anywhere else, this is the place to call. Again, absolutely fantastic

Incredible and professional movers

Every thing was wrapped and packed very well. Gabb and James were very professional moving my stuff very carefully,they disassembled and reassembled my bed /desk and dining table and put them in place,I was pleased with the whole process. I would hire them again in a heartbeat

Im very satisfied with Expert home ...

The guys came out and moved us and filled the truck with our stuff. They loaded it efficiently and we were off to our new home. They unloaded the truck, taking care to ask where each item went in the new house. They reassembled the bed and the dining table and took all the trash with them even they didn’t have to do it, Both of them were perfect gentlemen the whole time and we enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

Just had a great experience! With Expert home moving During the week before the move I was contacted a couple time to ensure that we were on schedule with is actually very helpful. Also sent me some tips for the day of the move. Movers called this morning and said they'd arrive in 30 minutes. Everything went according to schedule and everything ended up in place . Movers were super helpful polite and patient during the entire move. Totally happy and will recommend

Excellent moving service

I used Expert Home Moving for a move from my house into Storage facility,I'd done a lot of vetting of companies,as I've been less than impressed with others in the past,and this company's quick responses,reasonable quotes,and kindness on the phone won me over. Rafael helped me book and was efficient and accurate in the numbers and timing estimates. I never felt like I was being nickeled and dimed. My moving team,led by James,was also extraordinary. I have never seen such effort and care from movers. The manager at Storage facility told me he was also impressed and he's seen a lot of movers,and that others there that day had asked what company they worked for. As if that weren't enough,they were also extremely personable and lovely to chat with throughout the process. I cannot give enough praise for these wonderful humans who made an oftentimes difficult process both easy and enjoyable. Thank you to the whole team. We will definitely be using you again for future moves.

I'm satisfied with expert Home moving, Mike and Gabriel were absolutely amazing! They called before showing up just to make sure I was there. They worked very hard and effectively to move my furniture in a timely manner. What was quoted to me for price was exactly what I was charged. thank you again for being there on time ready to work and going over and beyond even with the difficulties with the truck! Fantastic movers

Expert Home Moving are very helpful,and attentive. The price was fair enough to me, They made the process a lot easier than I thought it would be.and faster than the original time I was expected. Very professional guys They were super careful with our furniture and also assembled all of the beds and tables properly,even helped us put items back in our storage after they loaded everything in the truck, Definitely give them a call if you need your stuff moved properly

Great move

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience than with Expert home moving,I literally called them an 3 hours before I wanted to move. They showed up that same day,with their own truck and moved me very quickly and professionally. Their rates were reasonable and the service was impeccable.I forgot some little items in there truck and the owner contacted me to let me know it was missing before I even noticed and he mailed it to me himself,I felt I was have to thanks him again with a good review,Im definitely recommend this company Thank you.

Terrible Moving Experience

These guys showed up more than an hour late then claimed to have miscalculated the cubit feet of the move and it drove the price up more than double. I had no choice as it was my only day to move and they knew they had me over a barrel. When my belongings showed up in St Petersburg, Florida, furniture was damaged including an antique English bar worth more than $2,000 and several missing items, one of which was an heirloom period axe that had belonged to my great grandfather. I filed a claim and several months later got notice the claim company had cancelled their contract with the movers and would no longer be handling the claim. I have nowhere else to go but to sue the company and plan to do that next.

Worst ever! Don’t use

Worst ever! Failed to obligate on anytime their contract. Refused all communications once truck arrived. Witnessed movers throwing and rolling boxes and furniture off the truck and across the driveway. Broke numerous pieces of furniture that are not replaceable with like kinds. Lost a significant amount of furniture and boxes which never were delivered. Refused to disassemble and assemble basic furniture as per their contract. Care and basic concern to not bash the walls or smash into things just wasn’t there nor did they obviously care. There management and support was non existent and refused all correspondence. If you choose to use this company you will regret it.

Ghosted

It's hard to write this review because I was not too unhappy with anything (communication was good) before the move. But, there was a hiccup when the movers finally delivered to my new location 18 days later and I needed to speak to someone about the issue. NO ONE would speak to me. For 24 hours, I tried every name I had for EHM. I tried email, phone, text, voicemail and I finally got one short reply that said they would be get back to me. They never did. I still have not heard from anyone. Very disappointing. One call from anyone there would have made a difference in my customer satisfaction.

Complete mediocrity - AVOID!!!

I was originally quoted by a broker (Priority Van Lines) for $1800. These people were useless and did not supply the movers but hired out to Expert Home Moving after taking $800 of my own money. The driver was 5 hours late and had me sign a bunch of sloppily-written receipts and papers without any explanation, including a paper that promised a 60 cents reimbursement-per-lb. for any damaged goods. During the moving process, said driver also made an offhand racist remark about some of the foreign-born residents of the apartment. They also failed to tell me ahead of time that I would be paying a few extra hundred dollars for delivery and for exceeding their box limit, despite my having told them how many things I had. At that point, the cost well exceeded the quote, and I had to wait over a month after asking to have my things finally delivered. Not surprising, they broke several of my things and lost a couple of boxes during the move, referring me to their insurance company to make a claim. The insurance company didn't respond until several months later, where they offered me less than $50 for a few hundred dollars of damages and loss. Expert Home Moving was an absolute nightmare to experience, and it put me out of several hundred more dollars than anticipated. Complete lack of professionalism and competence. Hopefully after reading this review, people will be spared from having to deal with these garbage rat b*stards.

HORRIBLE

This is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. They picked up my items on July 16 from Maryland to bring to Alabama. It is August 16 and I have still not received my belongings. They have not confirmed when my items will be delivered. They avoid answering and returning phone calls. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I just want my belongings!

Professional movers

I am thoroughly impressed with Expert home moving . I was inspired to use their business due to another reviewer stating the precautions they are taking to address the COVID-19 situation. Careful movers said they would take every precaution and they did. Masks were worn and distance was kept during our entire move,all while the same amount of caution was taken with our furniture. They also utilized their own disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer. This was the among the most critical reassurances I needed to move forward with moving out of my home. In essence,this was the best moving experience I have had with Expert home moving. Their crew was extremely efficient and even helped us break down our furniture while boxing loose items in our home. All in all,our moving crew was done in the time they estimated. I'm very satisfied to have had such a diligent and professional team of movers. I highly recommend their services if you want the best in quality and efficiency at a very competitive price.
