movers were pretty good

We had to move locally on 1/20 from Raleigh close to Brier Creek and going to Morrisville right by 540. I submitted a request to a third party website that sends it to multiple movers. They were the first to call. I spoke to Dianne who sounded very polite, and familiar about the whole procedure. I found out she actually worked on the truck before she gets promoted to the office. She gave a flat rate but explained the parameters, foe example it was for x number fo hours, and even though they would not charge extra for another hour, it was not an unlimited, unconditional flat rate. Made sense. Diane didnt know I used to own a moving company myself so i knew what to expect. I booked the move with them even though they were not the best rated. I do have to say I was a little nervous. On the day of the move, they were supposed to arrive between and 8-9...they arrived 8:05. so far so good. The guys that came out of the truck were your typical movers, polite, friendly, there to do their job. First thing they did is to wrap all the wooden furniture with blankets. It seemed like the truck was loaded so fat, even though it was a completely full 26 ft truck. At the unload, it was much easier. The guys unloaded, and set up everything in 2.5 hrs. At the end they asked if I would like them to help with anything else, and moved on tho the next job. I just thought I write my side of the story here. I would use them again, why not.

Great Service

We spoke to Nick at the local office and explained we had to sell our home before we move. To our surprise they have Realtors they work with, and we received a call the same day. The agent was very nice and knowledgable, and has already posted our home for sale, which gives us $1000 off the moving cost. We have already contracted with them to move us as soon as the house closes. I m so glad they have this service so we don't have to go looking for Realtors

Quick move, Very good mvers

I had to move out of my apartment, on short notice due to flood and damage on the roof. very small 1 bedroom apartment. I initially requested a next day move but when the guys at the office heard there was water coning down my wall, they immediately dispatched 2 guys to come get my stuff and move me, I didn't thing it was going to be immediate response. i m so thankful. I moved in a storage facility in Wake Forest, for now, and next month they are also moving me back home to Myrtle Beach. I highly recommend these guys without any hesitation

great workers

I wish to express my extreme satisfaction with the team of two men who moved our belongings February 2, 2018. They were expedient, friendly and very efficient. Each worked tirelessly and we were delighted right from 'start to finish'. The final cost was less than the estimate which was awesome. I Would Recommend Them to ANYBODY...

So I called and a gentleman picked up his name was Nick I think and I asked for a quote, I told him the details of my move and he was able to do it, he was relatively cheaper than everybody else because I checked everybody else and they were quite expensive, but he was able to do it for a really good price. They called the day before just to make sure I still wanted the service, I didn't have to pay anything upfront, they even have a website where you can keep track of everything. He called me and I confirmed that I was moving on that day and when they arrived, they came it was two guys and everything was out of the house within an hour, I wouldn't say anymore than an hour and I was in my new apartment within like 2 hours from them getting there so I didn't really pay as much as I thought I would be, but they're great. Very professional, very careful with the things and it was a super hot day. They did really well.

It was a Good Service

Took two hours to load and when gets to destination took about three and a half hours, but we were charged for five hours.

They were over an hour late, but the ...

They were OK. They kinda beat up my staircase walls going up and they broke something. But they did replace--they did fix the damage done to the house. I'm still waiting for the reimbursement back for the item that they broke. Other than that, they were nice.

Chapel Hill

We just finished our move in chapel hill. We had Correy and John. They came prepared with all the tools, and blankets as promised. We did have a piano that we thought would give the movers a hard time. We were wrong. They moved our piano, and everything went great

No problems here

I had Mike and Chris as my crew. They moved me with no problems. I didn t have much anyway but had movers in the past that managed to make a mess out of everything. These guys were careful, wrapped everything with blankets, used plastic for my mattress/box springs and couch, and it just seemed like they know what they re doing. It was obvious they do this everyday. Definitely not temps or day laborers. I have recommended to my neighbors already.

Moving is not fun in the rain

We had to move due to some water damage that happened because of this rain. I called family movers on Saturday night thinking I 'll get an answering machine. To my surprise Jane answered the phone and was very helpful from the beginning. On Sunday morning I had 8 guys!!!!!!!!!! move me out in about an hour. I could not believe how quickly everything was in the truck. The guys were not even mad that they had to work on Sunday. Everything was taken to their storage, and once we do d out where we re going to go they love moving it in again. I m glad I called them.

Good Workers, No Damage

I had Family Movers Express move my parents from Chapel Hill to Cary. Due to the fact I m overseas I was expecting this to be very difficult. My parents are in their 80s. I spoke to Mary at the local office who made the whole thing seem too easy. The 4 movers showed up on Monday packed everything, including plates, clothes and socks, and moved my parents to the new place. I must say I don t hear my mother too often say se was pleased so I was expecting some complaint just due to the stress of moving. I m not sure what these guys did, but my parents were very happy. I guess the fact that one of the movers were from the same place as my parents helped also. Highly recommended. Thank you

Good to go

From the time these guys came to my house I had a good feeling. Chris and Walter was my crew. They arrived on time at 8:30am, and moved me locally in Wake Forest. I went from close to capital blvd to storage. As promised all the items including my upright piano was wrapped with blankets in the house. Walter actually was more experienced, and showed me why the items are wrapped that way. They truck was clean, and swept, they loaded my truck, and we drove to the new place. To my surprise I learned they offer free storage for 30 days for all moving clients. The self storage facility was nice enough to let me out of the contract there, so everything was taken to their storage facility. Two weeks later, I called and they delivered everything, and set it up. I have no complaints at all, and will definitely use them again

Move went great

I had Family Movers Express move us from Garner to Clayton. They arrived at 9am as promised, and worked non-stop till the truck was loaded. The guys were very well mannered, and didn t even ask for water. I was pleased mostly because of the attention they paid to my piano, as I was nervous about its weight. It turns out they do this every day, and of course with the right equipment it seemed easy. When we go to our new house in Clayton, they unloaded, set everything up, put our beds together, and even cleaned up after themselves. All the used boxes were taken away, and left my place clean. I promised Mike, Joe, and Chris I will post this since they did an awesome job. Thanks guys

They were affordable and wrapped ...

They did a good job. They were fine. It took almost four hours to load everything in my house and then they had to take it up three floors ... It only took them three hours to unload it. With the travel time I had to pay them for eight hours, it worked out good. ... I had no problems.

They were efficient and superb packers.

They were efficient and they packed everything superbly, unloaded and set up without any problems. They were a little bit late in arriving ... But other than that everything was good.

Worst moving experience ever with ...

As if moving isn't stressful enough, this company has horrible business ethics, zero professionalism, and are degrading to women. My husband and I were moving from a 2200 sq. foot home to another home about 5 minutes away. It took 3 guys over 11 hours to do this move, which is absolutely ridiculous for the amount of furniture we had (0 couches, only 2 bedroom suits and the rest were boxes)!!! The movers talked us into buying lunch for them both days, only to have of the (slow and obese) movers one throw his lunch up on the side of my house. There is nothing nice I can say about the owner or this company. The owner repeatedly called during our closing and would not take payment over the phone. He is a horrible man and yelled at my 75 year old mother-in-law calling her awful names. I would not recommend this company to my worse enemy!! We were pressed for time, all of the other movers were booked, so we picked this firm which gave us the cheapest quote. I guess you get what you pay for, these guys are crooks.

No slack time at all!

They were excellent. They worked quickly and got the job done, there was no slack time at all. So that meant time is money, and they understood that. They did a very good job.

Honest and they took care of ...

I had a very good experience with them they are very honest and they took care of the moving. ... They moved in a proper way. In short I would say they provide a good service.

Mike and Mo moved me today from Raleigh to Cary. They were a little late but wrapped all my furniture perfectly with blankets as promised by the office. They just finished unloading and I m happy mostly because there s no damage but also because it cost me less than planned.

Broke my desk and granddaughter's ...

They dropped my computer desk and broke it.The dresser for my granddaughter's bedroom set, I don't know what they did but they broke the leg off the bottom of that I don't know if they were pushing it and they should have picked it up or what..
