The guys busted their butts, but the ...

There were supposed to be three people there at 8:00 in the morning, two people showed up at 10:30, one showed up at 1:00. They said it would be no more than $700 at $99 an hour. It took them from ... 10:30 to almost 10:00 at night. ...I had to pay them in full before they would even unload anything out of the house and it ended up costing me over $1,000.

They finished on time and I didn't ...

They were pretty much okay, I [didn't have] any issues with them ... They gave me an estimation and they [told] me how many hours it's going to take and they finished everything in the same time.

Overall it was good.

Overall it was good, the only thing we didn't like was that they unpacked some of the things we had prepacked. We had prepacked all of our linens and they unpacked those and used them as packing materials around some of our breakables. That upset my wife a bit, but that was the only thing.

Horrible, horrible moving company

This moving company is horrible! We are new to the South Florida area and we had to rent when we first got here. We since then bought a house and had to put our things in storage while we waited for our new house to be remodeled. When our new house was ready, we called Family Values Moving to move our things from the storage unit into the house. It took them 3 hours to load our things onto the truck which seemed a little odd but I thought, ok they're being really careful, no big deal. When we got to the house the moving guys had to call the office to get the final price that I would have to pay them. The guy at the office gave them the final quote, and then left for over an hour. I'd told them I wanted to pay via credit card but because the office guy had left, they told me they couldn't start unloading the truck until he took the payment and asked me to go get cash so they could start. I went to get the cash and to get food to eat for my daughter, and went I got back they were finished (pretty ironic since it took them three hours to load the truck, and only took them about 45 minutes to unload it). To my horror I discovered they had scratched every single piece of bedroom furniture we had. My brand new cherry wood dresser and chest of drawers had scratches and nicks along the entire top surfaces, and both of my daughter's brand new white dressers had scratches along the front and top surfaces. I was absolutely livid when I discovered they had dropped one of the boxes marked fragile - four bone china bowls my grandmother left to me were broken. My husband called the office to complain about the scratched furniture and the broken dishes, and the office guy was so nasty to him it was unreal! He had the nerve to say they don't insure items that have already been packed because most customers don't know how to pack their own things (what???!!) I don't know about other customers, but my husband used to work for a moving company and I can assure you none of my grandmother's china was broken before these movers touched it. Furthermore, all of the furniture was brand new (less that 6 months in our possession) and there were NO scratches on any of it before these guys destroyed it. Because of their negligence and complete incompetence, we now have to pay to have BRAND NEW furniture restored. If you have valuables or expensive furniture that you want to be treated with care and respect, DO NOT HIRE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!! Also, they took advantage of the fact that my husband was not there. I don't know the ins and outs of moving companies and I trusted them to deliver the service they promised. I'm sure if my husband didn't have to work and had been there, the outcome would have been completely different. PLEASE BEWARE - THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!!!

Horrible Experience

Talking about the last movers anyone should use in Miami! This is a terrible option. Not only are they expensive and offer what they state is "storage", my move took longer then expected, cost more money and additionally, the items stored arrived damaged. All together, damages for items were in the $8,000 range including family heirlooms, tv's, desk, filing cabinet, holes in the walls upon moving in, etc. Then I was insulted by the owner stating I was a "bad" customer because I wanted to charge back for the damages.

I would use them again and again and ...

They were absolutely excellent ... The pricing ... Was completely appropriate ... Keep doing what you're doing. You're doing a good job.

The best moving experience we've had

It went great. Very good, it was the best moving experience we've had. The movers were very professional, very careful, helpful, and courteous. The price I paid was the original estimate they gave me.

Staff was friendly and you could tell ...

They were very friendly and they cared about my furniture and stuff. They did damage but you can see that they were taking care of it. They used clean blankets, they said they wash them every move. I was really satisfied with their services.
