DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY They quote very low to get the job and then the final bill is 3X what was quoted. They did not put our things in climate controlled storage; we had water damage, water stains, mold. Our furniture looked like it had been dragged across the floor and thrown into a heap; we had broken legs, bent steel, shattered wood. We actually found someone else’s stuff mixed inside boxes of our things. They rifled through our boxes and took whatever they wanted; we had thousands of dollars worth just gone. It’s criminal. Please don’t risk it. The shell company, Lanco Leasing Inc. goes by many names - Flagler Moving, Flagler Moving & Storage, Palm Coast Movers, Ormond Moving & Storage, St. Augustine Movers and Daytona Moving and Storage, to name a few. BEWARE

Awesomely Done!

I moved two weeks ago, I will keep this simple and to the point. My moving experience was professionally done with design, respect, and class. The two gentleman that came out ( I'm so sorry I don't have their names) was true professionals. I was moving from a unpleasant situation in which the person was nasty, and ill-mannered, these gentleman still gave him the utmost respect offering to shake his hand up front then said in the end "Thank you Sir for allowing us in your home" To me That's Outstanding! A bad experiencce

My elderly mother used this company to move her stuff from Florida after the sudden death of her husband. The paperwork shows a requested delivery date of March 23rd and my mother waited but the delivery did not arrive. She called me crying and distraught because almost a month after her requested move date, the company had changed the date three times and now they were talking about a June delivery. I thought she gotten a referral from someone but she just got them out of the phone book. An internet search of the company, owner, and wife caused me great concern. Since my mother was in a delicate emotional state, I tried to resolve the issue with them and understand why the items had not been delivered within the timeframe as contracted. As my calls to Flagler Moving went unanswered, and my research revealed the parent company, LANCO Leasing Inc, owns Palm Coast Movers, Ormond Movers, St. Augustine Movers and Daytona Moving and Storage, I called one of those numbers and finally was able to speak to Lena Marie Hale Lania (the owner's wife). Long story short Lena told me that although the paperwork reads "an indirect load can be delivered within 15 days of the requested date" that statement meant something else and a clear explanation of the statement's meaning was never given. I explained my mother actually believed in what had been told to her and written in the paperwork. Lena told me she would talk to her husband, Carmine Lania and arrange for the delivery to be moved up. She said she would call me back. I waited a full week and never received a call or voice mail message from her. Lena had given me a cell phone number on which to reach her "anytime" but it only rang the multiple times I called and the voice mailbox was full. Since I felt I was getting the runaround, I decided to file a complaint with the Federal Motor Safety Administration. Coincidentally, more than two months after the requested delivery date and about ten days after I filed the complaint with the Federal Motor Safety Administration they called me and stated they would deliver the items Friday before Memorial Day. Finally they showed up on that Saturday and delivered my mother's personal possessions (and a box of someone else's stuff which my mother returned to the owner and then found out he had three of her boxes!). I do not think this is the service that anyone deserves. I felt mislead in my dealings with this company to say the least and I feel I should not have had to resort to a complaint with the BBB and FMSA.
