Made a move, which is already ...
I'm not one to write reviews. I think I have written maybe ten in my lifetime. However, this move was made 300x more stressful by the unprofessionalism and laziness that Good Times Moving and Storage provide for me. I wish they'd change their name to Bad Times as it would be more fitting. Unfortunately, I work for the apartment management company that recommended them to me, so I'd also like to apologize to any residents we have that we referred this company to. I can assure you that we have since pulled their company from our referrals for all 120 communities in the Nashville area. First off, this is long winded so I apologize, I'll try to shorthand where I can. 1. Said they'd show up at 8 AM, they showed up at 12 PM. 2. Said there would be 3 guys. Only 2 showed up. 3. When they arrived they said "dispatch said you were living in a two bedroom apartment". We were moving from a four bedroom home. When I called and asked about it, the manager, whose name I have since forgotten, said it was my fault and that I told the agents I lived in a two bedroom apartment. Who in their right mind would do that? 4. It took the 6.5 Hours to load 17 FT of their 26 foot truck. Yes, I measured it. I also have photos below of exactly what they moved. I already had everything downstairs except 1 bed that I couldn't move myself. It got so bad that I had friends come over and said when they arrived the two movers were sitting in the truck on their phone while I was inside helping wrap everything I could. The loading was so slow that the guy that did my final pest control before closing even offered to help and couldn't believe how slow it was going. I was even moving stuff to the truck myself to just get it done. 5. At 6:30, they said it was too late and wouldn't load anything else on the truck (left half of my house unmoved.) Since it was just me, this was obviously a huge problem. Thankfully, I have been blessed with some of the best friends in the world that picked up a trailer. In the time it took us to unload our things, my friends had packed the rest of my house and had it on the trailer. (1 hour). 6. Dropped my fridge out of the truck because they didn't use any safety gear and walked down the ramp BACKWARDS with no appliance straps. I have a full HD video and they said "we don't insure appliances". He's lucky he didn't get seriously injured because he was running down the ramp trying to stay under it. 7. We unloaded in only an hour, because well.. it wasn't that much stuff to unload. 8. The Final "F You" to me was the fact that they charged me $2100, to move what is in the photos below. I will admit that there is one more fridge and two pieces of furniture that are in storage that I didn't get a picture of. When I called to ask about why they were late, that they dropped my fridge, and that they left without loading the rest of my house, the manager stated "You said you lived in an apartment, not a ho
