TERRIBLE company. Bad communication. ...

I can concieve how it is that the company ahs anything more than negative five stars in their rating. Communication is absolutely non existent and their owner down not return calls, texts, or emails. We contracted them out to pack our apartment move our stuff from Chicago to Seattle. They didn't show up and no explanation was given nor any solution presented. They finally just said "find other arrangements". Mind you this is literally on our moving day. we were left desperate and distraught. I've never been so stressed in my life. They also collected a $1275 deposit from us that has not been refunded. Unacceptable. Stay away from this place!

The crew arrived on time and moved all of our things efficiently. We packed in a way such that the movers didn't have to do anything other than move our things. Prep work is key in any move. They unloaded the things quickly and safely as well, all the while being courteous and professional.

Good Movers and they also provide good rates. They also accommodated some extra requests at the end when I asked them to move my big dirt pots filled with Plants. He and team are friendly and they reach at time and well priced.

They were on time, worked fast, worked hard and were careful with all our stuff - of which there was a TON. Our old house had so many stairs but they handled it all wonderfully, no complaints and they made it all seem like a breeze. The whole team had great attitudes and we couldn't be happier. My move was wonderful

I am sure that Great Lakes Van Lines is one of the best movers. I was lucky to have this company helping me out during my recent move. The sales rep was very helpful from the start to finish. He gave me confidence, ensured a safe and sound move and gave me in written that there will be no hidden fees. The foreman with his team did wonders. I had plenty of valuables and breakables and some heavy old furniture. So, I was mentally ready to see some damage but I was hoping to keep the count low.When they delivered my belongings, they asked me to check the inventory. I checked and surprisingly nothing was damaged or broken, not even a glass. I will surely reuse them for my future moves.

Excellent relocation moving services

Awesome moving experience with Great Lakes Van Lines. Movers were friendly, professional, fast and hard-working. I was worried about paying by the hour, but needn't have worried with them. They never slowed down, even when the lift on their truck gave them an unexpected problem. Mostly it was furniture and some home decor items, so a lot of large and heavy things. The whole move was done in 3 hours. I will definitely call again if i need to relocate.

Having to move frequently means that I know how most moving companies operate. The only time I was satisfied was when Great Lakes Van Lines handled my move. They quoted reasonably, movers showed up on time and everything went as smoothly as it could. All four movers were very experienced. They took such great care of all my things. It was comforting to know that my valuables were in good hands. They delivered everything on time, unpacked and put them where they belonged. If I move again, I will hire them again.

They completely proved their metal, there was so much stuff that needed urgent movement and the task was really difficult. People who were working needed to be professionals; there was a lot of expensive stuff that needed careful handling. Lots of expensive crockery and things that were just very dear to us and we wanted transported without any damage. To be honest I had never heard of Great Lakes Van Lines and I thought twice before I finalised them. On my friend’s compulsion we did go ahead and just got A Class service. There was no damage, no price change and no deviation at all from the terms to what the company and we had agreed. Perfect shift at the end and that’s about it.

They were polite, and very careful with our belongings. We had things in every room that they were to take and not to take which was quite confusing. I was happy to have them in my home.
