Green Van Lines made two recent moves very easy and fast. The price was right in my budget, the guys worked efficiently and nothing was damaged.

Great Company

They are my favorite company, and I’m gladly recommending them because of the quality services and the good prices they offer. About a week ago they helped me relocate from Houston City to miami in 2 days and managed to handle my things like champions. My two old fridges and all of the furniture were safely transported to my new location, and I’m very happy they done it properly.

Mover Beware

I wish I could give a good review of this company, especially since I did my due diligence in researching companies before selecting them. I planned a move from Dallas to Houston and contacted Green Vanlines for a survey of my belongings for the most accurate estimate. This was my preference because many moving companies tend to take advantage of customers by asking them to provide a list of their belongings. I wanted the company to see my belongings and assess the need of the move from there. A surveyor came to my home, spent about an hour there and provided a detailed estimate afterwards. From there, I compared other estimates and remained in contact with Sharon who was very responsive as I asked questions. Months later I received an email from Sharon offering me a 5% discount and stated that I was moving during the off-season and they could use the business during the pandemic also. Based on my positive interaction, the reviews and the discounted rate, I went with Green. Days before the move, I received a few confirmation phone calls. The movers arrived on time and were nice. Only one spoke English but we made due. After the truck was loaded, the crew leader basically scratched everything explained to me and was outlined in the estimate. He stated that I used more materials than the surveyor estimated and that he couldn’t honor whatever agreement I had with them (which was all in writing). He calculated his own rates in his cellphone and asked for payment. After that, I heard nothing from the company. Even up until the day before my items were supposed to be dropped off, I called Sharon, and nothing. I called customer service and was told they’d have someone contact me and nothing. I had to call the owner just to get some answers about when my entire home which was in their possession would be delivered. He assured me that my items would arrive the next day. Once the movers arrived, the same game was played once it was time to pay. They ignored what was surveyed and estimated in writing and tacked on an additional $1000 to the balance. What is the point of having someone come out and survey the property if they are going to underestimate the need and cost? This seems to be a tactic they use to take advantage of customers. After that, the crew leader asked me if he could record a video of me leaving a review of how good my move was. When I told him my experience was horrible, he said to just leave out the part about the money because that’s on the sales team, not the moving team. Unfortunately, it’s unethical to coach customers into leaving positive reviews and while he was a nice guy and their team did work hard, I declined the skewed video. I used this company to move me into temporary housing and would’ve used them again for my permanent move once my new house is built but now it’ll be the complete opposite. I’ll never use or recommend Green Vanlines and when asked (as someone who has moved many times), I will tell people to not use this com

Excellent Movers

The moving crew from Green Van Lines is very fast! They really come with great attitude and get you moved out and in within the same day. They are very careful with the work they do, they make sure to treat all your items with lots of care. I have a lot of glass pieces and they were all individually wrapped and none were broken during the move. I am really satisfied with the work from Green Van Lines, I highly recommend them for anyone moving.

Splendid!

I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for Green Van Lines. They are miracle workers. Very hard working group of men that moved me. Very easy to schedule. I received a call confirming arrival time . They worked very quickly and efficiently to get all the things wrapped, secured and loaded. When we arrived at the new location, they once again moved everything exactly where we requested, unwrapped all packaging and cleaned up. The guys offered to rearrange the furniture for us also.

The move by Green Van Lines was performed carefully and very efficiently. I thank the supervisor for his coordination at both ends of the move. I would also like to thank the packing team for the exceptionally professional job preparing our possessions. The end price for the move was much less than I expected

Superb movers

Quick and professional! Green Van Lines wrap everything before they move it. They are friendly as well. Took a star off for a couple of scratches- but overall they're efficient movers that are easy to coordinate with.

I wasn't satisfied.

I was satisfied with them to a certain extent. Everything went smooth with the pick up, but of course the delivery - there's always a hiccup. Basically, when they went to deliver my stuff, somebody else didn't close on their house, so they had to keep that shipment up there... and my shipment was behind their's. So long story short, my stuff didn't come until a week after the actual date.

Overall good

Overall, it was mostly good. There were small challenges in terms of they were very restrictive in terms of forms of payment, but we worked through that. And at the moment I am starting to be increasingly disappointed with the way they are handling this small damage claims that I have. But overall good, its not- I'm not violently upset at this point but 'm not getting enough response.

The mover arrived exactly on time and was extremely efficient. The guys that came were outstanding, quick. Reliable, No stress, Very good value for money. I couldn't have done it without them. The two gentlemen that were on the truck were very professional and made sure everything was done to the highest of standards. The gentlemen were always happy and made sure everything was protected and moved safely.

GVL were brilliant throughout the whole process. From booking to the moving on the day they couldn't have been more helpful or hard working. Amazing service

Green Van Lines did an excellent job for my move from Dallas, TX to New York in January. The office staff was competent, easy to deal with, and helpful in getting the paperwork done. The pickup and delivery teams were well organized and helpful. Particularly the pickup team exceeded our expectations with their support as we were getting our boxes wrapped up and ready for transport. Overall a very good experience and great value.

absolutely great move

The guys from Green Van Lines did a very good job. They worked hard to get the job done but at the same time they had a calm helpful attitude which helped me relax about my move. The price was fair and what we agreed upon before hand. They were careful with delicate and expensive items . They were very happy to do the job and to ensure satisfaction. I would recommend them. Excellent service

I called Green Van Lines at the very last minute to help with furniture moving within my house. I never thought I could find somebody on weekend but they offered immediate service in the next day. They were clearly very experienced and knew exactly what to do to make the whole process smooth and efficient. They were also very considerate to me and our needs during the process. Well done and great service

We selected Green Van Lines as they were the only local company in Dallas, TX, I called Arthur was professional and knowledgeable and immediately gave me confidence in them. There was a team of four with big truck to load our stuff. my belongings arrived within the 2 weeks. The two gentleman that moved my furniture in were outstanding they wouldnt let us do a thing I basically pointed to where stuff was to go. They were very professional and super friendly. All of my items arrived in one piece except for one very cheap book case, I was extremely satisfied with the company and would recommend them in a heart beat. Friendly at all times, the team really made the day as stress free as it could have possibly been. Thanks again to everyone involved.

Professional movers

We were recommended this company by a colleague. I called Arthur for a quote and gave me a fair price. Arthur did a very thorough inspection and gave lots of useful advice about preparing for the move and explained what would be required. Once we confirmed the move, boxes were delivered the next day so that we could start packing. It took about 3 hours to pack and about the same to unpack, within 2 hour journey in between so a long day for all of us. The them remained cheerful and enthusiastically throughout and their approach and attitude took much of the stress and pressure out of the day. great value for money and no hesitation in recommending!

I have saved money by moving my storage to CA. The whole process from start to finish was executed brilliantly. I had some queries during the process just because it was so different to the ways of traditional storage but the customer service team were always quick to respond to me by both email and phone and kept everything moving smooth. The move concerned a large and heavy single item, requiring a very early collection, and considerable effort to install in its new location, in appalling weather. The whole process from start to finish was very good. The initial review and quote was clear, quick, and efficient. On the day everything was done as agreed and expected and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Nothing damaged or broken either and loading and unloading done speedily and efficiently with care being taken not to damage items. I would thoroughly recommend them to anybody moving home.

GVL was very communicative and nothing was a problem. The quote was fair and the terms and conditions were very clear. The guys were friendly and took good care of our belongings. We incurred an extra charge due to the fact the guys has to wait for us at the arrival end, but Issac was clear in communicating the change and it was handled well. A job well done, They were absolutely brilliant. Also a big thank you to Issac who kept me informed about everything at all times. Great organizer. All in all an absolute perfect service. We were moving some large items from Dallas, TX and needed them to be safely and securely packed by them. The entire pickup time was no more than half hour top, including the required paperwork. The final price was calculated after all the items were picked up and put up in the track, and the team supervisor had given us a discount since we had more boxes than we first estimated, Everything was clearly explained and it came within the estimated amount, which was also the cheapest and I have actually had moves within a city that cost more.
