Terrible experience, wouldn't recommend
I have used these guys in the past and it went well, so I decided to give them another shot. This time around, they were very inefficient. It went much slower than it should have. One of the guys was moving really slow once we got to the new house and disappeared for a good hour while the other guy was working. It took probably an hour longer than it should have. Regardless, I paid for the five hours and tipped them 20% (like an idiot). I should have checked the boxes before I tipped because many of my items were broken. They even admitted to dropping one of the boxes. I had to throw everything away in that box as well as items that were broken in another box. I also had a big picture that the glass was broken on the frame. After I unpacked every box, I noticed that I was missing an extra large box with a lot of items in it. I asked the owner of the company where it was, and he got very defensive and told me I was accusing him of theft. I let him know that I was not and that maybe the box was misplaced or left on the truck and delivered to another address and I would like my items back. I followed up again two days later asking if he had found my missing items. He read the email multiple times and still never responded. Three days after that last email, I emailed one more time to follow up on whether they had located my items or would be replacing the value of the missing items. I finally got a response that said there was nothing left on the truck and they cannot be responsible for losing my items. I told them I would either like the items returned or the value replaced, and he said they will not accommodate that request because there was nothing left behind. I’m not accusing them of theft, but how do you just lose an extra large box never to be found again and then blow off the customer when they ask you about it? If this had been my company, I would have either returned the missing items or replaced the approximate value. They can’t admit to theft and/or misplacing the items. Be VERY careful using this company. If I could give them a zero-star rating, I would. They declined my request to cover the damaged and missing items. They are thieves. Do your research before hiring a moving company.
