This is the second time I’ve used Jersey Moving Pro and couldn’t be happier. They showed up on time, were friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks for being the least stressful part of moving.

Helpful and polite

These movers handled and packaged our delicate items with the utmost care. They were attentive, pleasant, and really effective. When we move again later this summer or early fall, we will surely ask for them again because they have gained my real interest!

I am pleased with the movers!

At the house, they immediately began to work and did packing of all items, protecting carpets and woodwork and asking where I wanted items to be. They even re-built the bed. I am pleased with the movers!

Great crew, super professional, the team worked very hard, and the management was very responsive. They made our move so much easier.

The worst move of my life

The volume was way higher than the estimate (which they themselves performed). The packers tried to shake us down for extra cash payment (over and above what we paid for the extra volume) The shipment arrived jammed randomly into a tractor-trailer. Some of it fell out when the doors were opened. There were two guys to unload and no ramp or lift gate. Neither of them spoke English. One had a few words, the other none at all. Much of the packaging was damaged. Several items were dropped during the unload. A lot of the load was damaged even before it came off the truck. After the movers left, they came back as they had 'found' more of our stuff in a locker under the truck. The bed was the only thing they assembled. The total damage amounted to several thousand dollars and their insurance offered us $93. Virtually everything we own was damaged in some way.

Perfect and smooth move!

They were extremely efficient and worked nonstop. The movers took apart and reassembled our beds and tables in a skillful manner. The entire move took only 3.5 hours!!

Learn from my mistake! Jersey Moving ...

A strong word of advice — NEVER, EVER use Jersey Moving Pro!! I’ve never seen such incompetence, unprofessionalism and inept service in my life. Neil and his team showed up promptly at my home, were polite and courteous but showed a total lack of knowledge as to how to pack furniture properly. They appeared to be completely inexperienced at moving. They broke, destroyed or damaged 8 pieces of furniture. (I can understand one item of furniture being damaged accidentally but surely not 8)! Certain pieces of furniture are totally ruined or irreplaceable. Some examples of the lack of expertise are as follows: 1.The TV’s should have been replaced in the armoires from which they were removed and packed. They were never even unpacked! One shelf from which a TV was removed was completely scraped. Another TV was left unpacked right on top of a mattress. 2. A large floor standing vase was not even wrapped! It was thrown into a makeshift carton in which the vase did not even fit. (Despite the fact that I had paid for a carton for a vase). Naturally it broke! 3. A 3/4 inch thick glass dining room table top was broken and a large chunk was gouged out. This sturdy table survived 25 years and 2 grandsons totally intact until Jersey Moving Pro appeared. 4. The very sturdy bases of the table are now broken and cracked. 5. The footboard of a bed was completely broken off. 6. The legs of a valuable antique coal bin were thoroughly scratched and a metal ornament ripped off. 7. As the movers brought in my furniture, they completely scratched the floor in my new apartment. 8. Two standing floor lamps were bent and scratched. Insurance paid so little that I’m devastated over the loss of items we worked our whole lives to purchase that are now unusable. The owner of the company talks a good story about being a community member with a family and a reputation to uphold. Well, I would guess no one in the town where he lives speaks to him ( and certainly does not use his company for their moving needs). I sincerely hope this account is sufficient to convince you NEVER to use these disreputable movers. At the time I was desperate to find a moving company on very short notice and Jersey Moving Pro was the only company who answered the phone on a Saturday. So despite many negative reviews, I felt I had no real choice. Jersey Moving Pro should definitely not be in business! This is the only negative review I have ever written. (I’ve given positive praise and reviews to many companies, restaurants, appliance corporations and customer service concerns. This is a first for me for negativity!
