RUN! SCAM ARTISTS with fake reviews!

Main Moving claims to be a nationwide moving company. Back when I reserved their moving services, they had a good 4.9 star rating. Not anymore and I'm a victim to their scams. They will make every promise from highly accurate shipping estimator to they own their own trucks…to they own all their own storage nationwide. In reality, here's what I got: • Penske Moving Truck - Sales guy said they only use their own trucks. Nope…they fly guys around with rental trucks. • Furniture wrapped for free in blue blankets - NOT. They ran out of blankets in my shipment. That's when then switch to extra fees. • $400 extra fees for "special wrapping of sensitive items" - If you see them touch bubble-wrap or shrink wrap, you just lost out. • $500 extra fees for shipment because there was more items than quoted (in reality, I sold several items I initially included in the original estimate) • They promised storage in their nationwide network of company-owned storage warehouses. My shipment was never stored under their control…I got contacted by a lawyer of the storage center down by the local highway because Main Moving forgot to pay rent…my furniture was going to be auctioned due to their non-payment! • Easy delivery out of storage - NOT. The sales guy said "the contract says up to 30 days, but we have a large network of trucks and delivery is always on the date requested as long as it is within 5 days advanced warning." It took over three weeks to get delivery. During the entire waiting period, Main Moving NEVER called to give an update. We always had to call them for an update that kept saying…we are working out the schedule and will let you know 24 hours before delivery. Do yourself a favor. Use a real moving company and avoid the scammers like Main Moving. They start off sounding cheap, but end up costing you more than United, Allied, or other true moving companies.

Every member of Main Moving was incredibly helpful in my apartment move. They were very quick to respond and ultimately helped me with the booking and send the working crew right on time. I’m very happy with the service and will 100% use Main Moving the next time I move.

Great experience! The staff came early and during the move were extremely effective, kind and helpful. I only used them for large furniture because it was my first time moving in homestead,FL and I was nervous, but if I ever have to move again, I would use them for everything. Would recommend them. I have showroom off glass items, I had a limited space of storing all the stock. But this company provides the best storage service. They kept my stock for like 2 months and there wasn’t any damage. Every glass was perfectly fine. My brother also using their service for storage. I am recommending them with 5 stars.

A superb company moving. They have been careful and cautious and the rate has been better than most others. It was hourly pay but was mainly kept to the estimate. I certainly would recommend this company.

Good Work

Main Moving was very responsive and provided a very reasonable quote throughout the process. Both of my buildings needed COI to book elevators and that was delivered to me both times within 1 day of request. They reported for a 9 am transfer time 15 minutes early to make sure they were packed and ready to start on schedule. For a few extra boxes, they didn't overcharged and didn't asked for a single penny + they provided free wardrobe boxes.

Had success with these guys last August, I went ahead and used them again for my move last week and am glad to say it was another successful and easy move. I needed a mover very last minute move and Main Moving made it happen. They returned my call promptly and did the move 2 days later. They guys were polite and ready to work, we had absolutely no damage to anything (not my normal experience with other movers) and the job was completed in a timely manner.

We hired three guys instead of the recommended two to complete our move. It was during a weekday, so I wanted to make the process go faster. The weather was crazily humid the day of the move and didn’t cool down. They did a great job keeping our furniture and apartment intact, no scratches or major issues. Even the heavy bookshelf surprisingly made it to us in one piece!

Wonderful experience. From start to finish everything was handled in a courteous and professional manner. Sensitivity to my anxiety was shown in the care that was taken with my possessions. Blanket wrapped furniture, floor protection was used, and just a great all around experience. Melvin and Jerome were my movers and they were terrific! HIGHLY recommend and will use again if/when I move next!

Main Moving was really one of a kind. Easy on-line estimate, a quick response in setting up the scheduled move date. The movers were on time and really professional. It actually took them about half an hour less than the estimated time. They were very thorough in taking apart the furniture and also very careful during the move. Nothing was damaged.
