Oh, these guys worked hard. They worked fast. They were careful with the furniture. And I had no damage. Nothing was broken. They did an excellent job.

Stay away from this mover

I can't even give single star to this mover... Today (1/31/2017),we had a very bad experience with this mover. The same mover did the move for us on 12/5/2015 packing at my Greensboro NC home and 2 delivery locations one in Storage in Greensboro and other delivery location in Cary,NC. The overall weight was 5040 lbs. They charged us $1529 for this transaction. We thought going with same mover will get better customer service,apparently not. When we called them,they said since we are the repeat customer let's go with the same price like last time and the only difference was 2 pick up location (1 storage and other one from apartment in Cary NC) and move it to the recently bought house in Chapel Hill NC. They agreed when we spoke to them. Today MBM came to Greensboro storage and picked up the stuff and came to Cary to pick up the stuff in apartment. Before coming here they weigh the stuff in storage pickup and that was 2780 lbs... after they came down to Cary apartment,the whole episode started,now they want $3336, if I don't agree they will NOT pickup from my apartment and I had 2 choices given by the very rude sales guys (we had to call them to sort out things) 1. Going back to Greensboro storage and drop the stuff where they picked up...but I have to pay the labor charges... unfortunately We had to close the storage after pickup as we were moving. 2. Going to Chapel Hill NC and just drop the items that they picked from Greensboro storage and now I had to pay them $1238. No assembling anything... I had to forcefully choose the 2nd option by the rude Sales person Leslie and other guy from Greensboro NC MBM moving/American Vanlines and ended up paying $1238. Right now I am sitting in apartment in Cary to figure out how to move my stuff from apartment to Chapel Hill. Tomorrow I have to handover the keys to apartment office... I trusted this mover hoping better customer service being the repeat customer and what I got was unlimited pain and stress. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOVER...

It was okay. One my bookshelfs was damage but other than that it was okay. The pricing was almost the same to other moving companies but a little less. I would recommend them.

It was good. They got here on time. They packed up. I stood there the whole time. They didn't lallygag around. We packed up everything. Moved it to the new house and they unpacked everything. They didn't touch the walls at the new place - nothing. They were perfect.

My experience with them was excellent.

They were pretty good people to deal with. They gave me the right quote and didn't try to go over it. ... They worked really well and had great manners and they kept us laughing too! They did everything in a timely manner and there was no damage.

The truck wasn't large enough for all ...

The day of the move there were 4 movers and a few of them were very vocal about the items we had to move which was the stuff we indicated on our forms. Turns out the truck wasn't large enough for all of our items. The next day, my husband had to rent a U-Haul and move several items because they didn't fit on the truck. ... Then I called to try and get resolution, and they just dismissed me.

It was a good experience.

They were on time, they solved an issue with the truck immediately and everything went as planned.

There was a quote that was given and the move ended up costing less than the quote. ...I had to pay up front but the weight of my move was less than originally quoted, so then they owed me $133 and change. ...The staff was fine. There wasn't any damage. There was a piece of furniture that they couldn't figure out how to get it where I needed it to go in the room. So that was disappointing. ...I appreciated getting over estimated and me getting a reimbursement, I don't appreciate the lack of communication and the time it's taken me to be reimbursed.

It was awesome!

It was awesome, they called me gave me a quote, set u the date. I put a deposit down, they came in the morning packed up all my stuff and moved me over to Raleigh. Moved all my stuff in, the movers were really friendly - they were cool dudes. The guy I dealt with on the phone the whole time, he did a great job following up and keeping me in the loop of what was going on. The overall costs ended up being about $500 less than what they quoted me, it was awesome.

Worst Moving Experience EVER!!

I was told that an 18-wheeler was coming to pack up my 5 bedroom/4 bathroom house. When the truck pulled up, it was a much smaller truck and I had a feeling everything would not fit. They were to have everything loaded on a Tuesday because we were closing the next day. They showed up 3 hours late (1pm) and were still loading stuff till 1:30am. All of my stuff did not fit and we were supposed to close on the house at 10am Wednesday. They said they would come back with another truck the next morning and get the rest. The buyers showed up the next morning to do a walkthrough and were surprised to see our stuff still in the house. They were ready to move their stuff in right after closing. We did not hear back from the company till noon. Long story short, we could not close at 10 and was able to talk them into still closing at 4:30. The moving company didnt show up till 630 and still took forever getting the remaining property. We were then told everything was to be delivered to our new home the next day (Thursday) between noon and 1pm. After several delays and no one communicating with us, our belongings showed up at the house at 1:30am and they were unloading it till 5:30am. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever seen in my life. They dropped a huge mirror off the truck when loading and it shattered all over the street. Nothing about this was pleasant. The employees had no uniforms and it was a rented Budget truck. I almost didnt even let them touch my stuff but I had to be out of the house so we could travel back to close on the other house.

A month later I still have not ...

I was never given accurate information in regards to pricing, in regards to delivery ETA, in regards to anything. I have not even received the cargo. We're approaching a month since we actually set up the pick up for the move. So a month later I still have not received the cargo. After being told delivery would have been on the 10th. So I have been corresponding back and forth with the company today in regards to getting proper information that I need to finalize the move.

It was fine. They were very professional, very friendly and took extra care of my furniture and my items.

There is no damage

Everything was good. I moved a couple of boxes with all my personal stuff which includes the TV and sofa, everything. Yes they picked it up on time. They moved very good [everything was in] very good condition. There is no damage. They quoted me, I paid an advance and then I paid the balance when they delivered.

Just a big mess!

They started a day late and it took them three days to do it instead of two. It was just a big mess! It just was not a good experience.

It was disappointing and a difficult ...

It was disappointing but at this point the move is over and it was a much more difficult experience ultimately than it had to be but I don't know that there's anything they could do to fix it now except pay for the cleaning bill, which I doubt that they would. I would be shocked beyond belief if they felt obligated to.

Phenomenal!

The people did a great job packing, they came here they unpacked everything - it was phenomenal! They were right on time. Great price, zero complaints!

Charged me more, there was damaged ...

They got me for a little bit more on the pricing and on top of that they broke stuff and lost stuff. When it was all said and done, they charged me about $500 or $600 more than what they quoted me.

I would highly recommend this company.

They did a great job. They were very fair and the price they charged was fair and they were very careful. I would definitely, I'm not moving again, but no, I was very pleased. The staff was very polite and very respectful. Keep up the good work. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a short or long distance move.

If you want your stuff, quickly, dont ...

It took me more than month to get my stuff delivered. I was told i would be compensated and money taken off the move due to the delay but the closer i got to the date of delivery (one month later than i requested) the more of a run around i got. When they come to deliver your goods, ALWAYS pay with a credit card in case you need to dispute the move, broken stuff, late/no arrival, etc.

No damage but they took forever to ...

It took them forever to get me my money back so I guess so. The driver was perfect, he did everything he needed to do. Took care of me on everything. The company itself, I had to call them 14 times to get someone to return my money. They had charged me too much for the move and it took me more than a month to get my money back.

The service was outstanding

It was excellent. The drivers were very, very good, very helpful, helping me bring everything in. The service was outstanding. If I move again, I'll use them again.

We were very happy wth the service

My experience was very good, I was very happy. They did a small mistake, but that's okay. They replaced one thing, but overall the experience was very good. They managed it very nicely. Everything was perfect. We were very happy with the service. [Packing] was also good. My television, I was worried about that mainly, that was packed and guarded very nicely. I could see that it's perfectly fine. In a low price, you can get a very good service.

Great price and a smooth moving ...

They were very professional and very thorough in their job and what they did. The crew members had very good behaviors and they were very professional. Everything was done professionally and I would recommend them to friends and family and tell them that they have preferred service and they are the best in class. They had a reasonable price as well.

Disappointing experience

They were on-time and their pricing was only slightly higher than other companies, maybe by about $30. The initial sales part of the move was fine, the gentlemen who came to move the house was fine, but the in-between parts were not good. The moving coordinating portion of the move was severely lacking, but the gentlemen who came to move my possessions were very professional, worked hard and got everything done on a timely basis.

Helpful crew, friendly service

The move was good and they were helpful. Their pricing was good and the packing was done to my satisfaction. I would recommend them and I received all the services that I requested. The crew was good - they were polite and they were friendly.

They were very friendly and the price was pretty much around the same when compared to other companies. I would recommend them. They did deliver as promised, and my advice to the moving company would be to keep up the good work.

It was good. Very easy to deal with. Pricing was reasonable. I received all the services that I requested. Packing was done to my satisfaction. I would recommend them. The crew was wonderful. Very friendly, very careful with our stuff.

Average move

They did deliver within the time frame that they promised. So I would give them a five for that. I did not check the price with other companies. Yeah probably I would recommend them to my friends and family who will move in the future. The only thing that I would let future customers know is probably they are not really good on communicating. You have to be on the ball and making sure that you are following up with them regarding updates of move. That is the only thing that I probably would like for people to know that. They aren't forth-coming as far as communication is concern. Packing was done by me. They actually came down lower than the estimate that they gave me.

Excellent people, amazing customer ...

My experience was excellent, I cannot say enough good things about it and the people involved, they were excellent. All the gentlemen involved wanted to so much to make sure that moving is going well, courtesy and hard work. It was rather unexpected move, so I don't have chance to compare a lot. It seemed little expensive to me, but I just never used professional movers, probably it was very reasonable. They worked really hard and deserve every penny. I didn't get to compare with others. I was told that they were competitive. I think the experience with them was very trustworthy so I am assuming it was competitive. I would recommend the very highly, most professional, best experiences I had with any company in my life, they were excellent and the move was under a lot of stress for me and they helped me beyond what I could ever expect anybody to do. I cannot recommend them highly enough, the people involved, their professionalism, their hard work, their courtesy, their concern was just I cannot recommend them them highly enough. All of them from the people I talk to them on the phone to the movers and they have to work three different days and some of them were the same people and some were additional but all of them were all amazing.
