Most moving companies charge such high hourly rates that it’s scary to even think of hiring them. But we were moving across the country and we just had to hire someone to do the job properly. The 4 men (and for a short time, when he was needed, the owner) were personable, diligent and respectful, especially when having to deal with a bad neighbor. They dealt with a fifth floor apartment and a three story townhouse so efficiently; I needed to leave my apartment to go to my new place, leaving a lot of left over items, which they neatly packed away for me. They even took all my hanging clothes and shoes from my closet and hung them into the new closet. I was charged exactly what I was quoted for, no hidden extras.
