Damaged some of my items

As much as they wanted to be accommodating, they did some damage to my furniture and to the door in the entrance to my house. They certainly do not take the time to take stuff apart, they try to do it the easy way when they move things and things get damaged, so that part I wasn't too happy about. I haven't heard anything back from them and I didn't even bother calling because what was done was done, they weren't going to change it or fix it. Their price was a little higher but the reason why I took them was because they were going to be very accommodating for the timelines I needed, but at the end of the day I didn't need those timelines. I ended up going with them anyway because I made a commitment, plus I had even got a call from their head office to give me a quote and they quoted me a lower rate. But I didn't complain about it. They were supposed to bring three clothes boxes and they brought two without the hangers and then they were supposed to bring six mattress covers and they didn't bring any so I had to go buy them. But it wasn't the guy's fault who showed up, it was the owner's fault for not telling him he had to show up the next morning. If I had to give any advice to the company I would tell them to make sure their movers don't take any shortcuts. They were trying to move a bed without taking it apart and there was no stability there, you have to take it apart. Read more
