Great Communication

These guys were awesome. Great communication. Easy to work with. The crew fantastic. They were careful, quick, efficient and really nice. 3 guys. 2 hours. (I had it all packed in the garage, so that helped it to go quickly.) They were really great and affordable. Happy they could help me out. Thanks guys!

Very Satisfied

They completed my move right in the estimated time without damaging any item. They helped me to hook up the washer. They transferred every item to the room where was supposed supposed to go. Overall I am very satisfied with their service and I will use them in my future moves.

Affordable Mover

The whole process lasted about 5.5 hours! They worked so fast and are very efficiently. I also appreciated that they laid floor protectors in our new house and they were very careful to not scratch the new hardwood floors! Overall I would totally recommend! They are fast, priced reasonably, and very careful (absolutely nothing was damaged!).

Best Movers

We had the best move ever. They packed and moved our stuff out one day and the next day brought our stuff, moved stuff in and helped unpack and place furniture. No damage to any furniture, they all worked tirelessly the whole time, pleasant and utterly professional in demeanor.I will be moving again this summer and will definitely use them for the move.

Absolutely recommended!

We have used this moving company to move our furniture and other personal belongings into a new apartment complex. Well, they have done a great job and they have moved everything precisely without leaving a scratch or damage. The thing that surprised me about them is that they have come earlier than the appointed time, which is not a bad thing I guess. It wasn’t inconvenient or anything at all. We were just caught surprised and that’s it. It was not difficult to work with them. They were friendly, nice and had good humor. In fact, the moving process was quite lovely and lively thanks to them. This professional moving service made our move very, very stress free.

Amazing Moving Company!

I found MyAmericanMovers on Craigslist and was impressed enough to give them a shout out on Yelp. They gave an honest estimate at a good price, showed up on time, and didn't break anything. Friendly customer service on the phone. I don't want to move again soon, but if as and when I need to I would call them again.

I think you would agree if I say “moving sucks”. Since, we need to move (again), I had to find a good mover, especially one that offers good interstate and long distance moving services. I tried to call several movers, but there’s only one company that caught my interest and it is this one. I chose them because of the fantastic conversation I had with them on the phone. They were very much engaging as compared to the others I called. They weren’t like robots who would just answer your questions the way they should answer it. The movers they sent were on time. They were good guys who moved quickly and efficiently. In addition, I noticed that they were quite conscientious with regards to our things. In fact, even if they were running with our things, they made sure nothing was damaged and lost. This is a great moving company. They have a reasonable price, which is a surprise to me. Great movers, great services. I hope my words about them wouldn’t go down the drain here in Movers.

Do NOT hire this company!

This was the most horrific moving experience I have ever had and I've moved quite a bit. We moved from Culver City, CA to Westchester, CA which is only 4 miles. We were quoted a price of $268.40 for 3 movers for 3 hours. We had boxes and very few pieces of furniture. I had all the boxes in 1 location near the front door at the pick up site. I hired 3 movers to speed up the process since there weren't too many pieces. During that time they moved very slowly and didn't work very hard. My husband and I had to help the movers load and unload the truck as well as disassemble and reassemble the furniture. They didn't even have tools with them and had to use my husband's. We made every effort to reduce the workload yet the 3 movers talked on their cell phones, took an hour long lunch break and charged us for overtime pay. They loaded the truck from 8:45 - 1:10, took a lunch break then unloaded from 2:15 - 5:15. It was very short distance move. They charged us for packing, mattress covers and rolls of tape. When I spoke with Rebecca the rep handling my work order, she assured me many times that there were no hidden fees. I did ALL THE PACKING, yet the movers charged for packing. They put mattress covers on, yet we did NOT want mattress covers on, they charged us for 12 rolls of tape, yet Rebecca was adamant that there would be NO charge for tape since I based my hiring decision on that as well. From 8:45 - 1:10 is roughly 4.5 hrs and 2:15 to 5:15 is 3 hrs. The took an hour long lunch break and told us we wouldn't be charged for that. However, we were asked to pay $818.04 for 8.5 hrs of work. I have been trying to contact the company to work with them toward a resolution however, they have been extremely slow to respond. I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in hopes of recovering monies lost during this horrific experience.

Getting my moving quote and booking the date was made easy by their office staff. The movers took a little longer than the estimate, but they earned it.

Reasonably priced, personalized and ...

The experience was really great! They were flexible and competent. They stored our things for a couple of weeks when we travelled to Canada. But our passport was left at home! And they dug our passport out for us and sent it immediately. The next day, we had our passports with us. This just proves that this company is willing to go above and beyond for its customers.

Outstanding service

I'd like to recommend this company to my friends and family for their outstanding service. Their customer service is prompt and they were efficient in dealing with our problems. The movers came at a time when I was at the office and I called them up and set up a different date. They arrived promptly on the revised date and time. They were quick and efficient at both ends of the move.
