They quoted 4-6 hours and it took them 10+ hours. The items in a small 2 bedroom apartment were all already packed. They then ripped the arm on our couch and broke the handle of our wine cooler off. I have moved several times in my life and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

Bait and switch

With absolutely no warning my bill increased by nearly 10%. I only found out once all my belongings were loaded on the truck and the truck was gone. Seems like that should be illegal!

Don't make the same mistake I did

I feel that I was mislead and taken advantage of, from the time Jay Sales) presented the estimate and all the way through to the time of receiving (forcing) payment. I am so dissatisfied with your company. I believe that your business is about as unneighborly as they come and all the cute slogans and fancy talk are just covering up the ugliness that lies beneath. The person in charge of our move was doped up. I could see it in his eyes. Also, his chewing tobacco was disgusting. Right away he wanted me to sign contracts giving permission for him to charge extra to make sure some of our more fragile items would make it to the destination undamaged. It would seem what I was told by Jay was different from the actual reality. In fact, your stoner mover would not move those items unless I paid extra. This is ridiculous. You can't provide an “estimate” for services, take pictures of items and list everything, then, once the moving day arrives have them give me a list of those items they need to charge extra for or they wont move. Include ALL THE COSTS it in the original estimate. At the very least, leaving the cost out is misleading. I think if we really looked closely at this form of forced services we d find it to be illegal. In another instance, when the movers arrived at the unloading destination, one of your movers (guy in baseball cap) was parking the other truck (empty because we didnt need it). He was around the corner parking on the side of the road. Next thing I know hes screaming (I could hear him from around the corner) at this older man I assumed was my new neighbor. Turns out your mover had backed into this mans tree and damaged the branches. Your mover was neither concerned or courteous. It was disgraceful. My new neighbor (age 75) had every right to be upset. Your mover clearly didnt care about the mans tree or about creating a scene (which he did). He was yelling very loudly at this older man. Your mover was, without a doubt, out of control. Extremely angry. I could see he had frightened this older gentleman. Jay estimated 2 trucks and 6 guys, total time 5.5 hours for around $1800. We only used one truck (half as much furniture as estimated). So, its easy to see that moving half as much furniture should require half as much time, making my move about half as much money as estimated. Correct? Not so. Your crew of 6 managed to spread out the job to the allotted amount of time, moving half as much furniture and working at a leisurely pace throughout the move (Stoner mover was rarely seen moving anything). It would seem to me that, if Jay really thought I had to move 2 trucks of furniture then he grossly underestimated the job. The other, more obvious option is that given an allotted amount of time (5.5 hours) to accomplish a given task (move all my furniture) the crew of 6 men paced themselves accordingly.

Enjoyed working with them

They were quick, very careful, that was good. Very professional, friendly, enjoyed working with them. They are a great company to work with. Keep up the good work.

It's a good company with competitive ...

It was good, they sent three guys and they packed up everything and we got everything nicely to the new home. They're a good company and they have competitive rates. The guys were nice and courteous.

The move went smoothly

The move went smoothly, it took longer than i thought it was but it did go smoothly. They took care of my furniture wrapped it up really well nothing was damaged so I was pleased. There was no problems with the crew members or customer service. Everything was packed already , but they did repack some things in bigger boxes so there wasn't really as many boxes but they basically just wrapped the furniture to keep protected. The outcome costed a little more than the original quote, which I expected, but I felt that they were reasonable. I would recommend them.

Excellent service

They were excellent and they never stopped. They were running and carrying stuff in and out. Their price was reasonable. We did all of our packing, but we did receive all the services that we requested. I would surely like to recommend them.

Actually I expected a smaller van but they sent me a very large truck. I think that was not expected. Price was reasonable. I did receive all the services that I requested. I didn't ask them to pack because we had already packed all those things. They helped us only to move the things. The crew was pleasant. I have no complaints.

Great relocation no problems at all

Yes I was. They all did a really great job. They all did exactly what I asked. It was all done quickly and professionally. I don't really have any complaints. Yes especially the last minute - it was all reasonable price. Yes I would recommend them to my friends and family who will move in the future. For future customers I can say that, everything they did was very professional. They were very understanding and everything.

They did a really nice job. They were efficient. They were kind to work with and they just got the job done. The pricing was reasonable and that was one of the reasons that I chose that company. what a rip off neighbors moving

quote was not right and was basically a sales job. Light fixture was broken and not found until after the move.everything was ala cart as far as rapping glass etc. 10.00 per sheet and more teribble experience. we only moved across the street and it was awful.

Fast and courteous service

I had three movers and I liked how fast they were. They got me moved very quickly and I didn't have any damage to any of my property. For three people they did. It was still expensive. It would have been the same price anywhere that I choose though. The estimate and the price that I paid was pretty close. I didn't know about a fuel surcharge that they charged and when I had made the reservation I asked them what all their fees were. They didn't mention that. So that was a bit of a surprise. Asides from that everything was fine. Packing services was done up to my satisfaction. The crew were very nice and courteous. They were on time. They were very friendly. To be honest I don't remember what they were wearing. If they had a uniform on or what it was. I just don't remember. I liked how fast they were. The price for these movers were very comparable to every other company and people I talked to in the office were very courteous.

Wouldn't use them again

It was like $300 more than they quoted me. The crew were fine. There was nothing wrong with them. Hope I wouldn't move in a long time, but I wouldn't use them. I would go out and have them come in because I have moved a couple of times before. I really liked them. I was in a kind of hurry so I used them and I wouldn't again. They weren't upfront about their charges. A piece of cardboard that wraps more, a towel that lasts more. I wouldn't use them again.

An average move

Generally it was a good experience. Initially, they said about sending a two-man crew but three men showed up at my door, which was a very different price. For moving a studio apartment I felt it was unnecessary to have three people and it increased the overall costs. The overall moving procedure was satisfactory. The crew was punctual and friendly. They moved pretty fast. The price was too high when compared to other companies.

Moving

Well my husband and I had to be out of our rental due to the owners Not paying their mortgage and the house was foreclosing on and Well we came across this moving company to help us move. We went though the quote spent about a good 30 mins or so on the Phone with the guy telling him we wanted the whole house packed Well he didn't put it in that way! He put it in that our house was already Packed and ready to go and the movers were only coming to pack And move the big furniture! So instead of the $450 dollars we were Quoted that the guy said that worst case scenario it'd cost us maybe $500!!! The movers show up and tell us oh well we don't have enough Boxes and so we had to go and spend $180 on boxes, dish packs and Paper!!! We were NOT reimbursed for any of that!! Needless to say We ended up paying $1265.56!!! $815 more than we were quoted!!!

The movers were unprofessional and ...

They were not only careless about my furniture but the movers were also lousy. Even though the prices were reasonable, the guys were not at all professional and they were not at all cooperative either. I would not use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Flexible and accommodating service

They were very helpful. They went above and beyond their requirements and I am very appreciative of them. They have reasonable pricing. They were very flexible and had to work with my schedule because I had to defer it two or three times. They are accommodating as they had to remove stuff from the back of the house and had to go downstairs. I had used other moving companies in the past but the experience with this company is simply nice.

Happy for accurate quotes

I liked them because they were accurate with the quotes and they charged me whatever they quoted me initially and it was the cheapest one. They were really fast in doing the move, and they were professional. They took care of everything, and I would say that we would never think twice about choosing them again.

Willing to go the extra mile

It was a short move within Pine Lake and everything went fine. The movers arrived on time and were quick at moving. The best quality about them was they were willing to move the furniture to any place that we wanted. One of them went out of his way in helping me clear the debris.

Very bad customer service

It wasn't a great experience with them. The thing is that we wanted to store some of our things for few days, but we lost everything as the guys did not come back to the destination. And another company which we hired for our move just came to my home to give the quote, but they did not give us any quote after seeing our stuff. I am extremely unhappy with this moving company.

Job done by professionals

My job keeps me busy and I didn't have the time to go through various company websites or check their credentials. I picked the first company which called me and they have done a fine job. Although the price was a bit higher than I was expecting, they did a good job.

Got ripped off by this moving company

I have recently moved within Washington. In the beginning I was assured that it would cost more than $396. But after doing a quick inventory of my stuff, they told me that it was going to reach $100 more. During the day of move, after moving my stuff for merely about an hour and a half, they took as much time as they could to move the rest. So, I ended up loading most of my stuff myself. After they returned, they told me it was going to be another $300 more. So, in the end, I ended up paying $800 instead of $396, to move a quarter of my own stuff!

Had a lot of problems with both ...

The first company which we contacted didn't show up at all. Later, we found out that they had lost their license for threatening one of their customers and refusing to give her contents of the moving van until she paid them extra money. When the first company didn't turn up, we contacted another company. And this company arrived, but a day later. So we had lots of problems with both the moving companies.

A pleasant move

A series of bad moves has created a phobia in me regarding moves, but life sometimes catches you off guard. Anyways, I had to move and this company has done such a good job that I intend to use them again for my next move. The movers were polite and respectful and finished the move in a reasonable amount of time.

An average move with a few problems

There were a few minor problems with this moving company. For example, when I first spoke to someone from the company, they had told me I would receive a 10 percent discount on the move, however when I was billed for the move, I did not receive that discount. Also, they were supposed to arrive at 8 a.m. but didn't come until 4 p.m. Other than that, the move went very well and the movers were friendly and very careful when moving my things.

An average move

I have recently moved and the services of this company were of average level. The movers came earlier than expected and I had to do my wardrobe packing by myself. They did disassemble my things, and they loaded my furniture onto the truck very carefully. At the other end of the move the movers worked slowly and took a lot of time in unloading my stuff. The price that I paid was double than what they gave me as an estimate.

Extremely Positive Experience!!

First I was hesitant because they hadn't been in business as long or had as many reviews as other companies. The man organizing the move was SO helpful and patient with all my questions. We experienced many delays in our house and he was so genuine in his concern and offering assistance. He was the only reason I decided to take a leap of faith and choose this company. Once we finally moved the movers were so quick yet took great care of our items. They were very personable and polite. I had a family emergency occur while in the process of loading, which required me to leave. The movers were very understanding, and so trustworthy that I allowed them to continue packing and left. They made sure to lock up the house and all our outbuildings. During unloading at our new house they were very professional and took care in where and how they placed furniture, as if it was their own. I hope this helps someone else choose this company.
