They were good, only one problem.

It was good. I chose them because they had a lower hour minimum. They showed on time. They moved everything. They wrapped everything nicely. The only thing that I didn't like was they broke the screen door at my old apartment, and nobody let me know.

It was very good. The guys were funny ...

It was very good. The guys were funny and hard workers. I wasn't totally prepared. I didn't have everything packed. I was trying to run ahead of them. We had to do a second move. But everything worked out well. They got everything done.

The movers were a little rude. It ...

It was okay. The service that was provided was not bad but it could have been a little better. The movers were a little rude. Whenever I asked them to do something, they just said no. I had already asked for a complete move when I booked the movers. When they came into move, they said "No, we won't pack anything." All in all, it wasn't a good experience. I would not go with the movers again.

They were late and I didn't get as ...

They weren't amazing ... They showed up pretty late and it took them kind of longer to get to the [new] place. I was waiting there ... After they left. It did take quite a bit more time for them to get there so I don't really know why it took them quite so long. So the timing was unfortunate because it sort of rushed it and then I wound up not really getting all the time that I had paid for. ...I didn't get quite as much moved as I wanted, but for the most part ... They got the important pieces. It was really just the timing and the lateness of everything that was a little frustrating.

It was a good experience, I didn't ...

It was good, like I have not faced any trouble ... Whatever I expected they have delivered on the same time and the same day ... No issues. The service was good. They came home and packed everything properly and then delivered it on time with no issues. I liked it. Like I don't see any issues with that.

Moved quickly and packed everything ...

It was great. They moved pretty fast and although I was thinking it would be completed in three hours, somehow due to some circumstance it went up to four hours. Overall the experience was good, they did a nice job packing with sufficient stuff and there was no damage to any of my stuff.

They came on time as they mentioned. They were good to do the loading and they came to the new location properly and unloaded the goods properly. The charges were also more or less what they told us, so I think it went OK.

They were really hardworking and did a ...

They're pretty hardworking and like they are right on time and they did a good job ... The actual time is like a little bit longer than the estimate. So the estimate was around $700-something but the final bill comes up to about $1,000. They did a pretty good job, like they moved everything.

They were careful with my furniture ...

They were right on time, they were very courteous, very professional. The items that were moving were antique ... Over a hundred years old. They took it with great care and went through my house, which is a very narrow doorway and were able to get it through without scratching any of it. They were very nice to my two young kids. I would highly recommend this company, they were very professional.

They lost and damaged our stuff and ...

They were a joke. I would never recommend them to anybody. They damaged our stuff, we had stuff missing, they even took down a telephone pole and left a little old man without electricity and then drove off.

They need to become a more honest ...

I have things that have just been-lampshades from Tiffany's that were destroyed, furniture extremely dinged up. The guy that was delivering got upset with me so he started throwing things around and one oft the pineapples on my bedpost-there's a big chunk out of it that's just missing.

Overall it went pretty well!

Management that was very poor

First of all, the truck was wrong. I had to rent a separate truck because it was too small - the one that they brought. They charged for way more than we were quoted for. The gentlemen that helped us move were fantastic - it just the management that was very poor.

They made me feel rushed. They could ...

It was okay. The price was okay, it was decent. It wasn't outrageous or anything. ...I probably wouldn't recommend them. Everyone was nice and cordial, when they packed I felt rushed. ...I was under the assumption that my stuff was gonna be separated better. ...A lot of my boxes were crushed.

I totally felt scammed

It wasn't a good experience. They showed up three hours late and then they charged me twice what they were supposed to charge me. When they came they had an extra person with them, and they asked me do you want us to work the third person? I said no, I want what I was quoted... lets say it was $278. So that was the end of that. Then at the end of the night he hands me a bill for $500 and I had already given my payment form to the office and explained... I called them back too and said I'm not paying $500, you quoted me $300. I only had boxes, I did't even have furniture... They quoted me as $270 and it was 500 and change so I don't know because I'm disputing the bill with my bank too. Just stay honest to the quote is all, because I specifically told them how many boxes I had. It wasn't really that much. And I didn't need three people. Be reliable, back up your word. when you say you're going to be there at a time, be there. Charge what you say you're going to charge, because I totally felt scammed.

Moving in Boston - It Can Get Worse

The day before my move out, my customer rep called to tell me to expect movers between 12PM and 2PM the next day. So I packed everything up and stayed at a friend's place with plans to go back to my apt the next morning around 11:30 AM. The following morning around 10:15AM I got a call from movers that they were in front of my apt. I was obviously surprised and told them I had VM from Rep that gave me a timeline of 12-2PM, to which the movers ignored and said they planned to wait for me. I hurriedly gathered my stuff and raced over to my apt. Once I got to my place, the movers got my stuff out pretty efficiently. However they did make me buy boxes because my bags and containers weren't good enough. They charged me for tape of these boxes but they used my own tape. I also had to convince the mover that their minimum time was 3 hours not 4 so he didn't overcharge me for my 2 hour move out. I confirmed that they would be moving my stuff into new apartment the next day. The following morning, I spoke with Rep who told me that they had set the move in for between 1-2PM. He estimated 2PM at the latest. I got to my new apt at 12:30 PM to prepare. While waiting, I got a new time estimate from Rep of "by 3PM." The delay, Rep told me, was because other people had lied about how much stuff they had and so movers were having to spend more time moving the liars' stuff. After another 1.5 hours of no news, I called Rep around 4PM and he gave the same explanation, that people had lied in hopes of getting better deals but that really it had only set everyone back. At this point Rep asked me if they could delay delivery of my stuff until the next day of 9/2 for a discounted price. I said no, I wanted my stuff delivered on 9/1 as they had promised since I had to begin my new job on the morning of 9/2 and needed my stuff for work (Admittedly, this was irresponsible on my part). After confirming with the mover, Rep told me that movers would be at my new place in 90 minutes (roughly 6:15PM). Yet 6:15 came and passed. By 7:15, movers had not arrived, so I called the to find out what was going on. I finally reached Manager, who, whether he meant to be or not, was very rude in responding to my inquiries about the movers' status. He bluntly reiterated that people had lied about how much stuff they had and that the movers would be at least another hour somewhere else before they could even attempt to get to my place and that was all he could tell me. He acted very annoyed on the phone when I asked for more specific info. When I asked for more info he simply reiterated that they would be at least be another hour at the current place and that he would call with updated. 2 hours passed, and I heard nothing, Around 9PM, I had spent about 8 hours waiting for them. At that point, I had to throw in the towel; I had work the next day. I accepted defeat, but I also accepted that i would get discount. I got nothing of the sort and the

The price was probably lower - I had contacted probably ten companies and they had the lowest price ... I've never seen such great work, I thought those guys were fantastic. I would highly recommend them and keep them extremely high on your list if you could.

Beware of these movers

I do have one good thing to say - they didn't break anything Now for what they didn't do well. There seems to be a comunication problem between the main office and the people actually doing the move as to how the billing will be handled. It was agreed that all charges would be handled via credit card, but was forced to pay 1/2 up front when the movers arrived. 2. They have a rule that EVERYTHING has to be in a boxes - even plastic containers - that way they get to charge you extra for packing material. It also takes up more room in the trailer and they get to charge you more. 3. It took OVER a month for the furniture to arrive at its destination 4 Not everything arrived - a few boxes were missing 5 They never made resitution for the missing items, even though they said that they would. So in Summary - If you don't want all your furniture to arrive in a timely manor or if you don't want all of your stuff to be delivered, then by all means use them. My move happen in February and it is now September. I HIGHLY recommend ABF trucking for their trailers and Re-location Pods. I used both and was very happy with them. The move done by NewEngland Movers was for my Son's move to NC. I moved to SC using ABF Trucking and all my furniture arrived in 5 days.

It was an absolute nightmare from ...

I was unhappy with the crew's behavior, the swearing, the screaming that they do in your home if you don't agree with them. They will actually break your items if you disagree with them. The owner of the company will scream and swear at you if you disagree with him. Got a quote for one price, told them everything that was gonna be in there, they up-charged once they got there. Wasn't even close to the estimated approach and the square footage was exactly the same. Somehow they came up with all these added numbers. They refused to deliver on the day they guaranteed, they actually just decided to show up on a different day and then demanded that I give them their money. I was in a different state at that time so I had to drive around a state I didn't know to find a post office to overnight their payment. Otherwise they said they were gonna ship my stuff back home and I was gonna have to deal with getting it back down here. Absolute nightmare. And most of my stuff was broken and some of my items were missing. The owner cursed at me and told me to never call him again.

The movers were extremely late and ...

I had confirmed a scheduled pick up date and they told me the movers would be there from 12 to 1 (it was like a Saturday) and at 4:00 I got no phone calls from anybody, so I called and they were like, "Oh, we're not really sure. We're gonna have to call them, we're gonna have to find out." And then I finally get in touch with the actual guys who are coming to pick it up and they're like, "We'll be there around 6:30-7:00." That was the first problem of many. It got really frustrating. They gave me a delivery date between the 8th and the 10th and it never comes. So I'm calling them trying to figure out a date and no one can give me a delivery date. It finally ends up being delivered the 16th or the 17th maybe a week later. I was told there was no hidden fees and it was like, "Well we charge you for this roll of tape." Then they were late dropping it off and they lost me a piece of my couch. It turns out it was never loaded into the truck. One piece of the couch, so I had half of it. It's been a nightmare, an absolute nightmare. It took over a month to get the other half.
