Scammer!!

Bad service!!! Manager yelled at us through the phone because they were not able to complete our delivery that they kept backing up for more than a week. Kept making excuses of why they could not bring our cars. Don’t recommend. Aside from that we can’t even get our money back!!! January 20th and still have not received my money back. Here is some of the messages I got today and I wish I could attach audios on here because this is just RUDE SERVICE. The lady pretends to be different persons so that she can get away with it. I will post if they refund my money or if they steal it. Calling back at 5:00 PM where she told me I was going to get my money back and she blocks after I text and call for my own money.

Scam, Refund request ignored

On April 19, 2022 @11:26am, I sent $225 deposit by Cash App to New Way Moving Services for transporting a car from Marietta, GA to Gaithersburg, MD. Pickup date was set on or about April 28-29). Two days later (April 21) the car was involved in an accident and a total loss. I immediately contacted New Way with this information and asked for a refund of my deposit. The agent advised me the billing department was closed until Monday April 25. I called at 10am on April 25 and left a message. I called back at 10:30am and female agent proceeded to scold me for calling too many times. She was very aggressive and rude. I asked her to transfer me to the billing department. She rudely said "here is the extension, 102, call them yourself" and hung up on me. I made many calls to ext 102 and left my contact information to no avail. On Wednesday May 4, 2022. I drove to the office at the address listed on their contact information. There was no signs posted to indicate the name of then business. I located suite 212, still no signage on door. I knocked and someone responded "it's open". I observed a black, heavyset female wearing a bonet and flipflops. I asked if this is New Way and she responded "how can I help you. I proceeded to explain the situation when she abruptly interrupted me to explain that her office is sales , not billing and billing in another state therefore she cannot help me. I told her no one is returning my calls and the email I sent to the email address listed and I would like to speak to a supervisor. She responded you are in the wrong place, I cannot issue you a check. I suspected she was the same person who scold me for call too many. times.

Pricing was good too. It seems I had worked with them before, but I did not remember their company's name. Its good, Its good. The pricing is okay but the only thing was that the delivery time was actually not good, they told one one day actually but they actually delivered on Sunday.

Don't use this broker

I feel rather stupid for believing that my experience would have been different than many on here (not including the fake review accounts that give 5 stars). I could write a few pages of notes explaining why you shouldn't use this company! The short boils down to them be really great and even truthfully helpful until you sign their contract. Once it's signed however, they're not very helpful and avoid your calls or are rude (I'm looking at you Rob at ext. 104). I've had to go directly to the companies they contracted for the real answers. The companies they contracted for my move (moving truck and car moving service) are pretty decent but New Way just fell apart in value after you sign the contract! I genuinely want to believe the best in people... it just isn't worth it with these guys. Please stay away for your own well being!

I've never seen such kind of services ...

I would say it's not very good because initially they told me the pick up date and delivery date so they immediately called me one day before they said the driver is ready and you need to pay the extra amount to deliver on the particular date. Everything was discussed in the beginning, but one day before they said the amount needs to be increased because the driver is asking more money. Initially they said I could put 150 to 200 lbs in the car, but the driver came and said he cannot take that much and that I need to pay the extra amount also. I paid around 250 to 300 dollars more and it is completely unprofessional. I've never seen such kind of services before.

Its good, Its good. The pricing is okay but the only thing was that the delivery time was actually not good, they told one one day actually but they actually delivered on Saturday. It was a late delivery. No one called me about the late delivery. Only the thing is I had to chase those people to tell me. and give information about my car.

Terrible Experience....Be careful

They quoted $630 date was finalized of pickup. I told them that I have flight on next date of pickup and u have to pick my care by that date only. But before one day of pickup they told me they can't pick my car in less than $800. I had to agreed and re-signed contract of $800 as I had no choice. At the time of car pickup drive charge me $100. As per driver he has agrrement for 50LB inside the car while their contract says 100lb. It was 09:30PM and no one was there to pick the call. Finally I had to pay $100 to driver. This company has no professionalism, they simply take there commission and outsource to driver. Be careful.. Don't give any advance to them

Good

when my moving date came, I didn't get any call. So I called them and asked them what happened, and they said " no driver can come for this rate, so it'll be a little extra" so I said "ok I am ready to pay" and they increased $150 more. Then they came at the right time and picked up at the right time so there is no issues there. I already recommended to two people.

Great Service

I was contacted by Sam, who was very prompt, nice and professional. She arrange my car to be picked up within 24 hours and to be delivered in CA in less then 5 days.Their price was very reasonable, not the cheapest but within my budget.I got my car in an excellent condition. Highly recommended!!!

They were good on everything but ...

I got my car safely.They shipped my car safely. But one thing they promised me $650, but they charged me $750.

Excellent service

This guys know what they are doing, i had used this company few times to ship cars that im buying online and never had any issue with them. They are delivering their promises as agreed. Mary, the manager and Jenny, the dispatcher are always their to help. I had used other companies but this company is the best.

Pricing was good too. It seems I had worked with them before, but I did not remember their company's name. So they are the ones who kind of reminded me and then told me that "We have worked with you before." And they gave me a little bit of discount just because of that, because we had worked together. So it was all good.

Worst services

The truck drive is a a street smart his try to still your money after his get to my address his said need to packed his charge me 700 dollares extra and cash only. Then said will be 7 days they took 3/ days after his get to destinations his said as after 6 pm and is a extra cost of 300 dollares or a need to wait to next day them when his get to my asters his charge me 120 dollares more cash only for take the stats out the truck. My stats have damage by the poor storage inside the 1980 truck. Try claim many times them transfer is call to machine never work never get pays for my stats they are a Roberys. My closets was missing and the have open box. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANIES.

Scammers!

This is a terrible company! Avoid it like the plague. We contracted them to pick up a small race car and a skid of spare parts. They quoted us $1,375 then when they had a driver to come get it we were told it was going to cost $2,000 because the skid had parts on it. OF Course the skid has parts, on it! They were told it was a 4'4'4' skid 250lbs an empty skid would not be 250lbs!!!! and why would someone in there right mind ship an empty skid across the country! They are refusing to refund our $200 deposit. It seems there intentions from the beginning were to quote us low to get us to sign the contract then try to extort us out of more money at time of pick up because we have no other choice. These are disgusting business practices. These people should be put in jail!

Do your research.

Just check on BBB look at the fact they have over 50 complaints. Look at yelp. Review after Review all have similar stories to ours. Car is not picked up on time. It will cost more than quoted. Customer service is horrible. DON'T DO IT.

We were not happy at all with this ...

We were not happy at all with that company. We are definitely not going to be using that company anymore. We felt that they were cheating us when we were booking. They told us that the money estimate was it and they wouldn't charge anything extra. They will come by Saturday. They didn't come and they didn't call us back about not coming or anything. We called and called. We were leaving by Wednesday and they didn't call us back.

What a terrible company

I have used new way twice and I should have learned my lesson the first time. Both times I ended up paying significantly over the quoted price and both times I had to wait extended periods of time (up to a month) for shipment after placing the deposit.

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR DEPOSIT TO THIS COMPANY OR DO NOT SIGN ANY CONTRACTS WITH THEM, THEY WILL TAKE $200.00 UPFRONT AS A DEPOSIT AND THEN WILL CALL YOU A FEW DAYS LATER AND WILL FORCE YOU TO YOU TO SIGN ANOTHER CONTRACT FOR A HIGHER COST AND IF YOU SAY NO THEN YOUR PREVIOUS DEPOSIT IS GONE. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THESE PEOPLE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA. I HAD SENT AN ONLINE INQUIRY TO A FEW COMPANIES TO HAVE MY CAR MOVED FROM BALTIMORE MD TO CALIFORNIA. LEO FROM NEW WAY MOVING SERVICE CALLED ME TO FOLLOW UP, HE GAVE ME A LOW BALL OFFER OF $900.00 FOR THE TOTAL COST OF MOVING AND AT THAT POINT HE STARTED ASKING ME TO GIVE HIM A DEPOSIT TO CONFIRM THE DEAL. AS SOON AS LEO AND HIS MANAGER GOT THE DEPOSIT FROM ME THEY DISAPPAERED AND A NEW PERSON NAMED JENNI, A REAL RUDE LADY, SAID TO ME TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $200.00 OR YOUR CAR WILL NOT BE MOVED REGARDLESS OF THE CONTRACT, WHICH ACTUALLY GUARANTEED THAT MY VEHICLE WOULD BE SHIPPED OUT IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I ENDED UP HAVING TO PAY EXTRA TO GET MY CAR. THEY GOT ME BY THEIR SCAM OR BAIT AND SWITCH!

The drivers were very helpful.

The experience was pretty good. I got my car shipped from Minneapolis to Atlanta and the drivers were very helpful, both of them, they coordinated well.

Changed the quote after the move.

My experience was really bad with this company. Whatever initial quote they gave me. ... After the actual move they changed the quote.About 70 to 80 more. After that they told me my car would be dispatched within three days. ... After that I got my car late. Company behavior and driver behavior was really bad. ... I will never go with this company again.

wow guys , this company surprised me for good! i had to move my car from texas to florida in the shortest time , and they did the job! Great company!

Belongings were damaged, but otherwise ...

Other things were good, but the vacuum cleaner, bed, mattress, all those things got damaged and we are in the process of claim. Other than that it was pretty good ... The things that they wrapped with the cloth, those arrived good ... There were some extra costs that they didn't mention in the beginning.

It was really unprofessional

Well the woman who booked it for us did not do a very good job of understanding where the vehicle was to be picked up and so he said that it would be picked up on Friday latest Tuesday. The vehicle was not picked up until the following Tuesday, a week after she said it would be picked up. So anyway we got it about 4 or 5 days later than we thought, but other than that it was all fine. It took about 50 million phone calls for me to be on top of them to make sure that they were really working to try to find a driver. I kind of felt like I was having to do a lot more work than I should have, given that I hired them to do it. It was pretty amazing with the driver too actually, because the driver was like telling me that, he was suppose to bring it to a budget car rental place in Homestead, and first he called me he said he was on the border of Georgia and that he would be there that afternoon. Then the next morning he called me and said he would be there the following afternoon and it wasn't until Saturday that he actually then put my vehicle onto another vehicle with another driver and brought it to the place. That other driver was telling me, "I need you to be in Homestead at 6 a.m. to get the vehicle." I told them all, I told everybody all along from the start it was a 2 and half hour drive for me to get to where I was gonna pick up the vehicle. So he's telling me I gotta be there at 6 a.m. I said, "Look I'm not gonna get there at 6 I'll get there at 7." I still have to get up at 4:30 in the morning and drive up there and meet him. There was no flexibility, the other guy was telling me, "I'll turn around and drive your car right back to New York if you don't do it the way we say." Then I asked the other driver why this was and he said that they gotta meet this lawyer with a Mercedes in Orlando at 9 a.m. and I was like,"You're telling me you can be 4 days late and then call me and say you're gonna be there one day and the next day and then finally the next and now I gotta meet you at 6 a.m. all because you can't be a hour or 2 late to pick a car from a fancy lawyer in Orlando. Give me a break." No it was not good at all. It was really unprofessional, and [the drivers were] shockingly rude and stupid.

From beginning to end it was bad

The communication with the girl meant well but whoever estimated to get it out of there you know gave me a low-ball figure. They said I was looking at about 5-10 days and it was much much longer. I couldn't get my deposit back so I had to spend more money to get it shipped. I emailed them for when they're gonna call me and where it should be delivered and everything. About 60 miles from my house I drove all the way out and rented a trailer because they didn't want to come out to Ventura, that's another 60 miles from Los Angeles. I said well I wanna get the car so I'll just meet them out there. They weren't there, they said they had a a flat tire. The transport company, I called them 2 times about a personal check and both times they said it wasn't a problem. I got out there then I had to drive back the second day. I spent 2 days rental paying a guy to help me load it and everything like that and I get back out there and they want cash. Then I had to call my wife and she had to drive out there. I couldn't believe how [much of a] fiasco it turned out to be. The driver couldn't speak in English so now I'm trying to describe everything. They said they would call me, I said to call 2 days ahead of time and call me an hour ahead of time because I had to rent a trailer to get out there. I put this all in email and sent it to the original company and talked to the guy who owned the trucking company. At that point in time I couldn't get a hold of him and the guy couldn't speak English and we had a problem with the location. From beginning to end it was bad, but hey I got the car and it was ok.

Customer service is really bad!

I got a quote for a certain amount and once it got close to the day that I asked them to move my car, they called me and mentioned there was another driver and they asked me for $150 more than the initial quote. The customer service is really bad. I don't know how they maintain this business! I can't understand that, they don't do anything good. The actual company that took my car and shipped it, the one that got hired by this broker, they were good. They got the car on time and brought it on time. They were OK, they were good.

The experience was good but the pricing was overshot $350. They said $1150 before the driver was finalized. When they found the driver they said it $1300 instead. They promised to deliver on Friday, but they had some issues with the vehicle, i don't know what. Because of that it was delivered on Tuesday.

The person that they did end up ...

It was ok. First they called up and told me that the first driver that they got to move my car said that he didn't come into the villages where I live. He said I would have to pick the car up in Orlando and I said he's crazy, that's not gonna happen. I got a door to door service. I was quite shocked and disappointed that they would even hire somebody that would do that. I told them to find me somebody else and this was like 2-3 days before the actual move. They did find me somebody else and the person that they did end up finding me was really good. We actually had to be out of our house and he actually came to the hotel that we were staying in. He picked the car up at the hotel and got it down here really quick. The price was good, that was fine and very reasonable.

They ended up charging me $50 extra

It went perfect. The only thing is that they told me that I was going to pay $500 then they ended up charging me $50 extra. I wasn't really happy about it because that's not what I agreed to but if I didn't pay those extra $50 they weren't gonna give me my car. They did not say why he just showed me a piece of paper showing $550 but on my end, the paper that I have on my email as well, it only says $500.

Courteous and respectful!

They were very nice, very courteous and in the beginning they couldn't find someone to go to Duluth. [The carrier] they found was very nice, very courteous and respectful and we thought he did a very good job. And he got the vehicle to Duluth as h said he would.
