Beware

Beware – this company is misleading and does not follow through in good faith. I used New World to move and there was minor damage to my residence. I was told by the crew that I should call and let my moving coordinator know. I was then misled and told to sign paperwork, which just applied to the condition of the physical items. I called the moving coordinator, who said they would flag the issue and I could submit a report of any damaged items and property once my move was completed. Once everything arrived, I filled out a damage form the following day. I was only allowed to fill out one form for both damage to the residence and items. I completed the form noting the damage to the residence – then I was told by New World that I needed to note any damage within 24 hours of the move and submit it to them. I had one opportunity to fill out a claim form for both items and residence damage. If I filled out the form and noted property damage right away, I would have lost the opportunity to file a claim for damage to my items. Or, I waited to see if there was damage to items, but then I lost the opportunity to note property damage. This company is not trustworthy and I cannot recommend you use them. If you do, you risk damage to your home and personal property with no recourse. Read more

Worst company

I used world van lines to move my staff from world vine lines from west coast to east coast due to my Navy orders. I got some of my stuff broken including electronics. After submitting my claims, including pictures, to get reimbursed, i got an email from trina hunderson (trina.hunderson@tieronerelo.com) that they are going to pay me some of the damage. I refused the offer because the damaged equipments are not working anymore and i had to trash them. trina did not respond back even though i emailed her many times afterward. Worst company. do not use this company

in Feb 2015 we were transferred from New Mexico to Texas. This was one of the worst moving experiences I've ever had. The movers seemed great packing my belongings. We didn't notice anything until we arrived in Texas. They did not put any protection on our hardwood floors and they were scratched beyond belief. They destroyed my bedroom furniture cracked the frame of my husbands riding lawn mower. At one point, one of the movers brought a cast iron bbq pit into the house. When my husband asked where he was going with that he wanted to take it out the patio door, which it would not fit through, The mover argued with my husband for several minutes then took it back out the way he brought in in. not only that, the movers constantly argued with each other. We finally got an adjuster to come and take a look at the damages. he was a nice enough guy but didn't show up until about 9:30pm on a Sunday night. we tried to add an item we forgot to put on the original claim but it was rejected. We received a check for a portion of the claims. they rejected portions of our claims stating there was no proof that they were not like that when the movers arrived. if i could give them a negative star, i would!!! Hector Charriez (Relocation Specialist) and his partner have given me and my girlfriend excellent and prompt service. Their professionalism was superb bar none.
