I got my things delivered on time the people loading and unloading the household items handled things so nice. The only issue I had was with the bill. I paid in cash and credit and the final invoice did not specify how much I paid in cash and how much was charged. Sometimes when claiming in my company they ask for those types of specifications

90 year old mother

Movers themselves were really good. I had to wait 7-10 days for my moms furniture. Tacked another 600 dollars on to the bill and was disappointed with that. I was satisfied with it but I would not use them again.

The timing was perfect and the move ...

It was alright, I had a few items broken, they were small but their packing was overall satisfactory. As far as the timing of the move, that was perfect.

It's not at all good. Basically all the boxes have been damaged and the bookshelf got damaged and I cannot use it now.

They were cooperative and delivered my ...

It was a good experience. ...They came, picked it up on schedule and also ... They were very cooperative ... They had pretty much a week to deliver my stuff, but I got all the stuff like as it was in a matter of two, three days.

Some damage and missing items, but ...

There was some confusion when they came to pick up my items in regards to the space and finally I had to call the company to sort it out. We were able to sort it out, I paid extra for items that were not on the inventory, but that confusion should have been cleared up easier. When my items were delivered there were some items missing. My children's bed is not assembled yet and they told me to fix it myself. Some fragile items were completely crushed and one of my lamps was damaged completely. But considering the distance I would expect everything to not come perfectly, but not the missing items.

Pleased with pickup, but dissatisfied ...

I was pleased with the pickup but I'm not too happy with the way my things were delivered. When they picked up there were six men so it went pretty quickly, but when they delivered there were only two men. So I ended up helping them move to and from the elevator and to my apartment to make it go faster. There was an expensive jewelry hutch that they basically broke the legs to get it packaged. and haven't' returned that. But I was really pleased with the pickup and more than dissatisfied with the delivery.

They're pretty awesome. I'm extremely satisfied with everything they have done so far...The price is pretty good and I actually had some stuff to toss on at the end and they didn't gouge me. It was super affordable. They were the lowest quote by far from day one...they were super easy to talk to on the phone, too.

They were able to come on time... the time that was agreed upon. The sort of team that I had actually come in, they were very professional and were also able to... come and do whatever packing that was required, that was agreed for them. They were able to do it professionally... and in a very quick manner. They kind of had the entire furniture packed... in a proper way. Even when they delivered it and everything, it was in good condition and such. So, it was definitely a good experience.

They delivered it on time, like what they committed to, there wasn't any delays, so that is one good ... What we moved arrived in good condition. There was no damage or anything.

Fast, helpful, careful

They were fast, helpful, and careful. They stayed within their range of days that they gave us, so it was pretty good...we didn't have any damage. I have a friend who actually moved on the same date that we did and he used a different company that actually charged him double and he's now filing claims because of the damage that they did to his stuff, and we actually, the only thing that broke was one glass. Do not stress over the whole packing because even if you are not done packing all the stuff, which happened to us, because they showed up and we were still packing. They were really helpful in helping us pack everything, un-assembled stuff, even here when... they brought all of our stuff here, They took care of that also, the assembling of beds, and futons, and sofas, and all that stuff. It was very helpful to help us not get into any kind of stress situation.

I was lied to

Well, they gave us a one to 10 day window from the first day that we gave them...they ended up delivering on the 10th day but...probably on the fifth day, they called and they said your things... they're leaving this weekend from Chicago...and they will be in Charlotte... between Monday and Thursday of the next week. So we went down to Charlotte because this was a move for our son and we waited everyday, everyday, everyday. And I was in contact with them and they kept saying, "Well, you'll hear from the driver...he'll call you the day before"...well Thursday, still no call. Finally the driver called here... and told me that the truck was broken down and that it was still in Illinois. So they had lied to me the whole week that the truck was on its way and it was not, it was still in Illinois. Finally it did come on Monday... a few of the things definitely were damaged. They took a little money off, but not much. And it just I felt like I was lied to. I shouldn't have gone with them.

Highly skilled!

First of all the estimate was as precise as can be and they asked for a very reasonable amount. Their moving plan was tailor made for my needs and the movers gave their 100%. They arrived at my place 5 minutes before the schedule, did a great job while packing and loading the delicate and fragile items, my furniture was taken care of with great care and efficiency and they moved us before the allotted time. We did not encounter any damage, price stayed within the estimate and there was no breach of contract. I am highly impressed with Olympia.

Great Movers!

These guys did a great job. They came on time and packed my things very quickly. They had all the equipment with them and wrapped my items in the large boxes so everything was nice and tidy. I enjoyed it really. I did not pack all the stuff myself, so they did the rest but very carefully so at the final destination, nothing got damaged and I had a long distance move ( Illinois-Texas). They performed in an outstanding way. I am extremely happy I had chosen Olympia Moving

Pretty Good!

They made the move so incredibly easy. They were even early, so I didn't have to stay in some cheap hotel for a night. I am so grateful and would definitely do business with them again. Highly recommended. Pricing is very good as well, especially for the distance of my trip. They were very professional and did not waste any time. Very thoughtful and asked questions that mattered. No better company out there for the price.

The actual move went fine

The actual move went fine. The problem was that they up-charged me last minute by $1400. I had no choice but to pay it. They said that I had more items to move which is fine I understand that, but I didn't expect a huge bill. I negotiated down to like 950-975 but still it's a lot of money for me to shell out at the last minute. I packed all my boxes they just wrapped around the big items like the TV and couches. We had a TV stand that was damaged. The movers themselves were great.

Great service!

The movers arrived at our scheduled time of 8am on the dot. The driver called when he was 20 minutes away and when he was outside our first stop. We had three stops which included the place we were moving to. They finished within 3 hours. Extremely professional, nothing was damaged. Carlos was the rep I spoke with to set it up. He followed up with any questions, called and emailed to confirm everything. If I ever have to move again, Olympia will be the only company I will use

Beware for out of state

Extremely disappointed with my experience with the delivery of my boxes. I relocated from Chicago to out of state. 1. I was told multiple times that I would receive a call the day before delivery on when I was to receive my items. I got a call the morning of at 10am from the driver saying he was going to be there at noon time the same day (2 hrs notice). I was not home but I was able to make sure someone was going to be there for delivery. Basically no notice. 2. I got out of my job early (costing me money) and got home at 3pm, only to find out that the delivery never came and nobody called me to tell me. I called the driver numerous times and he finally answered and said there was a problem in another city and someone was supposed to call me to let me know it would be delayed another hr. Nobody called me. If they did, I would have told the person waiting at my house that they didn't have to wait and I wouldn't have left my job early to get home to move things around. Driver told me he'd be there by 5:30pm now... 3. 6pm and driver finally shows up. However, it is just the driver and nobody else there to help him. Driver was making phone calls to get people there to help move the items but he tells me it's going to be an additional 60-90 minute wait for someone to get there. Considering how the last 2 times on the same day the driver gave me time estimates, I had a feeling it would be an addition 2+ hrs at least to get people there. 4. Instead, driver tells me that it will be faster if I help unload the boxes. I didn't pay money for me to have to unload my own stuff but at that point I just wanted to end this pain so I then had to unload and move my own stuff. 5. After driver leaves, I notice my computer desk is damaged, as well as one of the smaller cabinets where the door was ripped off of the hinges and can't go back in. 6. I emailed the company and they apologized and offered to refund some of the money I spent. We agreed on the amount and then sent me a letter to sign off on. They said I needed to get it notarized, which was a delay factor. The only reason something needs to be notarized is to prove the person who signed something is actually that person. They had my signature on file at least 20 times, as well as a copy of my drivers license too. But I did it and sent it off. A month goes by and no refund check and no response to emails I sent the previous 2 weeks. Finally I hear a response and they say they never received it. I signed and emailed it back without the notary and basically said that if they don't accept it, I don't care anymore. Part of the agreement is that you won't write anything negative about the company. Well, i never hear back so I am now writing of my experience. The initial experience of the guys coming to my place in Chicago was good. The delivery of my things out of state was one big drop of the bal

They were great

It was easy, I had already moved most of my things. I just had a couple of boxes and a few chairs that were in my old home and they moved them quickly. It was fine. They were great. They were really fast and very nice. They were wonderful. Very friendly, they were on time and everything went well. Nothing was damaged and they were really easy to work with.

Great moving experience

They were great, they came in under the estimate, they were fast and they delivered in just a few days. All in all, I was happy about everything. My advice to future customers would be use them, they were great. I would recommend them to friends and family. Everything was great.

Worst dishonest movers

When they wanted my business they said they would do anything. On the day of move they brought smaller trucks and I was told they had sub contracted to other off the street people. My advice is not to hire this company for any moves. I do not want to go in to details but had worse experience of my life. This was the last thing I needed right after my open heart surgery. I even changed the day of my move on the movers request.

Average move

A lot of my belongings were broken. I have not requested for a claim because they said I have packed the boxes so they weren't able to help me. Pricing was comparable. For future customers I would say to have them pack everything, otherwise stuff will be broken. The movers were fine.

pick up arrived 2 hours before condo rules prohibited moving 7 movers brought in when it was determined that the original 4 couldn't complete the job in time worked hard, packed hurriedly, and completed move 2 hours after building's deadline delivery on time by 2 independent contractors originally told that they transported but did not reassemble furniture when i suggested that we call for help, they resisted and i complied they had no tools to reassemble furniture so most reassembled furniture was not usable 7 hours later, they and i gave up movers left with some furniture not reassembled, and some furniture remained shrink wrapped also left packing boxes and blankets used by movers at the end of the move, i determined that there were, i believe, 11 missing lamps and furniture parts also, that some glass items that the movers packed were broken later found some missing items, but several lamps and furniture parts were not found called moving company the next day and asked for help which was sent the following day very helpful and apologetic as was the dispatcher
