Terrible moving company! UNRELIABLE

I wish I could give this moving company 0 starts because that's what they deserve. I moved from NY to FL the estimate was quite high but we thought we were dealing with a reputable and reliable company so we hired them. BIG Mistake. First of all they don't have regular employees\movers or drivers so it's whoever they can hire for minimum wage that day. Very unreliable. When the movers arrived to my rental apartment in FL they damaged my door, as well as several of my furniture pieces. Needless to say that the movers that day had little experience to even assemble the table and bed. So I ended up doing most of it myself. As I opened the boxes there were SEVERAL things broken. Those boxes were labeled fragile an very well and safely packed. I took pictures of the boxes and the broken items as they were. I was more worried about the huge gash on the medal white door at my rental apartment. They tell you that you have insurance but after they deliver your move YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET A HOLD OF THEM. Over months SEVERAL ATTEMPTS MADE, calls, messages and emails sent. With no response. THIS IS THE WORSE MOVING COMPANY YOU can hire. PLEASE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. My husband and I were responsible for paying for the damage of the door made my the movers. Don't trust them.

I am satisfied

I have hired many movers in the past but none of them could do really good job. Pack and go moving was one company that did what was promised. They didn’t charge a cent over the estimate. Their movers arrived on time and delivered everything safely. I have to mention the crew especially because they were simply the hardest working men I have ever encountered. Everything about them was so professional. They packed everything carefully and then carried everything out methodically. They delivered all my belongings in excellent condition and I was so happy with every aspect of this move.

We enjoyed this move

Pack and go moving ensured the safety of my belongings when we were moving from Trenton, NJ to Phoenix, AZ. Guys from Pack and go moving took such good care of me throughout. They arrived early and finished early as well. The movers displayed amazing packing skills. They delivered on time and all our valuables were in great condition. I have become such a fan of this company.

Very dishonest, watch quote and ...

Opened complaint with BBB of NJ. Below are the four major items of the complaint. There are multiple items involved in the compliant. 1._Unethical practices leading to overcharging of +60% above the binding estimate 2._List of items on Binding Move Estimate is equal or less than on the Bill of Lading so why was I charged +60% more??? 3._Damages and missing items when delivered 4._No replies to phone calls, e-mails messages sent to Pack

Low-cost moving company

Pack and go moving actually charged me less than their original quote! I should also add that their low quote was the reason why I hired them in the first place. The moving process was very smooth. Their crew arrived earlier than the scheduled time. They wasted absolutely no time and were done in just under 3 hours. When they delivered everything, we checked the inventory and everything was in great condition. I still don’t how this company manages to be so efficient and charge so low!

TERRIBLE BUSINESS

If you are considering using this company, DONT!!!! They are a terrible company. Everything you see on the website if false advertisement. Mark Hagel, the guy who probably will set things up for you is a con artist whether he knows it or not. I sold me on the company and it was all a lie. My story: 1. Quoted $2000, Actual price asked $4500. 2. Movers showed up three days late 3. Movers showed up with only half my stuff 4. Did not deliver the rest of my stuff for over three weeks 5. Movers stole from me (filed a police report) 6. Still missing dining room chair, boxes and three paintings. MOST IMPORTANT!!! The claims department on their contract does not recognize them. I called and checked. This is fraud. I am taking them to court for this and other things

Trustworthy movers

Pack and go moving is our go-to moving company for several reasons. They always make sure that our valuables are well taken care of. They always maintain their timings. They have transported our goods every time with efficiency and care. I hired them last May to move my stuffs from Paterson, NJ to Charlotte, NC. They were as amazing as I remember. All my valuables were safely transported and I would never switch to any other moving company.

Nothing was overlooked

I had to ask the moving company, Pack and go moving, to wrap up everything in the house and somehow fit them all in 2 vans. They took extra care with everything. They really understood my emotional attachments to the stuffs and respected it. Most movers show up late and then charge extra. Their men didn’t charge a penny over the rightful wage. They handled the move from Paterson, NJ to Chicago, IL so efficiently. The company only hires very professional movers. I am very happy to give out a recommendation to these guys.

They did a good job

The negative about Pack and go moving would be that they are expensive. But then again, no moving company is cheap. Even then, Pack and go moving is pretty much at the top end of this spectrum. Everything else was perfect. Their movers arrived right on time to pack up my stuffs. They were very efficient and quick. They finished the job in just 2 hours. I have never seen movers working this quickly with such precision. The crew was very friendly too. This move from Paterson to Hartford couldn’t really be any simpler.

Very flexible

As a single woman, I really couldn’t afford to pay a lot to Pack and go moving. But luckily, they had a lot of different kind of packages to choose from. I was tempted to pick the all-inclusive package but it was out of my budget. So I went for a cheaper alternative where they provided me two men. But both movers were capable enough. Since I don’t own any gigantic pieces of furniture, the move went very smoothly. They delivered on time and nothing was missing, broken or damaged. Thanks guys!

They were awesome till the end

I just cannot stand people who are not punctual. I asked Pack and go moving several times not to be late. They were supposed to arrive at my house at8:00 am. I would have been a little flexible had they been late at such an early hour. But the movers showed up at 7:55 am. In fact, their call woke me up! I just knew from there on that they were going to be great. They had no issues while packing and loading my valuables. My breakables received some extra attention from the movers. They made the delivery on time as well. It is always a pleasure working with professionals who stick to their words.

And the truth shall set you free! ...

For all you movers (like I was) who are in the process of moving your belongings from one place to another, I have sound advice for you......DONT USE PACK AND GO MOVING! For here are the reasons WHY (I will try to be brief and to the point). From the beginning, I thought things were going great with my search. I had stumbled upon a website that seemed to have a clean look and for the most part had decent reviews (found to be false). Even better, I had inquired to them only once and was promptly reached. A "Sales Rep" by the name of Mark seemed to implement the whole "sales 101" thing by showing interest in our move, who we were as people, you know.... the whole building "rapport" thing. I knew right there that I should not have let my guard down but some people are just pretty dang good at it. Furthermore and needless to say, I signed a binding quote from him of $4880. About a couple days later I had a gut feeling that their company was not as qualified as they came across. I then called and emailed mark several times and did not get a response until about a week later. At this point the Movers arrive for pick up. Once the four movers arrive (Guys, lets at least wear a company T-Shirt when meeting your customers), one begins to tell me that my move would be upwards an additional 5-10 grand for the miscalculation of our stuff. Granted we had miscalculated some items not being on the items list, but $5-10k?! (Mind you we have a two bedroom apt). I begin thinking to myself that this is about to get ugly, and then the "lead" mover tries to negotiate me down to 8k. Reluctantly I agree because our belonging transfers was a MUST on that particular day. Anyhow, they do their jobs packing and loading up at this point. The movers arrive in Texas the day we planned but to our surprise several of our items were missing, damaged or destroyed. When informing them of the items, the response was simply "it will be okay because that is what insurance is for". They storm out in a rush, leaving most of our items in the garage, glass shattered in driveway, our TV left on the truck that we ran out to report missing (hmmm). Personally, this is not an honest company. The reason I say this is because I was very shocked when I revealed on my PayPal statement that this company was/is run by American quality movers (Horrible ratings on here). I know that if I would have known that before the move, I would have never booked their services- but you live and learn. Pros- 1. 85% of our stuff was undamaged. 2. We got our stuff on time. 3. learned a valuable lesson in the moving process. Cons- 1.These people are not real employees of the company if you want to call it a company. (illegitimate). 2. Our sales rep in this company got lost after the "move" was booked (unauthentic). 3. Very unprofessional and unstable business model ( Lack of Trust). 4. Switch and bait tactics that are

Most efficient movers

The crew I received from Pack and go moving was made up of 4 men who were all extremely helpful and friendly. I often see people complaining about how rude their movers were. My movers, however, were just too polite. They listened to my instructions and worked accordingly. They utilized their skills while packing and carrying big pieces of furniture. They used a lot of packing materials though. The delivery was made on time. All that packing materials might have helped my valuables to travel safely in the end. I highly recommend Pack and go moving.

BAIT AND SWITCH , RUDE, UNRESPONSIVE , ...

This company is the worst company you could ever choose. My parents are in their mid 70's and were moving to their retirement home in NC. The salesperson "Mark" promised them the moon and stars and provided them with their estimate of $2,676. The day before the move they called and said they would be there at 9AM. On the day of the move we moved some things out of the storage facility to be ready for them. They never showed up until 5:00PM and said they had brake problems and were stopped by Connecticut State Police and they would not let them use their phone to call. (OKAY!) We called several times to inquire on their status...both to their dispatch and "Mark" with no response. They arrived the second day and advised my parents that they needed to have their items packed in their boxes (which was an up charge by box) they also said that there was a stair fee of $75.00. My parents had a freight elevator and at no time where there steps. They then said that the sales person misquoted the cubic feet of the storage unit and the cost would be DOUBLE. The quote was for 835 CUFT when they gave them the actual size of the unit which was a 10X20 unit... My parents being in a position where they needed to be in NC to close on their new home were stuck now. The driver of the truck was extremely rude to my parents and when the mere suggestion of placing a box in a vacant spot on the truck was made, he told my parents to mind their business and not tell him how to pack his truck. Being the Christian minded parents they are they still tipped them though! Upon arriving in NC their furniture was moved to a different truck, with a different moving crew. My parents had a bank certified check waiting for them and the new crew states that it must me a money order or cash.... of course my parents are now in another bind... they also said that while they wait for them to "figure out how to pay them" they would be charged $10.00 hr. My parents had to get a Sheriff involved and borrow money from a friend in NC to get a postal order. They were essentially holding my parents property hostage due. They executed a bait and switch and provided unprofessional services and took advantage of an elderly couple. Upon unpacking their belonging several items were destroyed and they have since filed a claim with their insurance company. Complaints have been filed on the Federal level and a civil suit is being sought as well. Please folks PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY...

They made my move easy

We hired pack and go moving to move our belongings. I didn’t know much about them but their quote seemed very fair. They turned out to be very professional. The movers arrived right on time. They packed everything very quickly. The boxes and furniture were systematically loaded onto the van. It took four men just 3 hours to be done with my 3200 sqft house. In my eyes, that’s a big achievement. I was worried sick for this move as I have never relocated before. But pack and go moving made my move so easy and simple.

I wish I could give them 5 stars

Our move from Paterson, NJ to Atlanta, GA went very well. I have absolutely no complaints about the movers sent over by Pack and go moving. They were absolutely fantastic. They knew how to do the job well. All my valuables made it to Georgia in great condition. My only beef is with their customer service. I thought the woman on the phone wasn’t very informed about how to do her job. She often got confused. When my things were on-route, I called them several times but they couldn’t confirm exactly where the van was. Anyway, that’s why I can’t give them 5 stars. But the actual moving part went really well and I appreciate that very much.

Never trust in this guys!!

These guys quote me $890 to move 11 boxes of a variety all sizes from Orlando Florida to Irving Texas. I received a confirmation from a nice lady called Susie. we talked by phone and communicate through Gmail. it was always an open communication from her part but she confirm me that I was going to receive a call from dispatch at day before picking up my stuff the day we agree(7/31).... that call never happened. I ended up calling them today on July 30th to ask for the time the trucker were going to pick up my stuff. the personal from dispatch sounded without a clue about when the trucker was going to pass by my home

Easiest move from

I had to move to Chicago, IL to live close to my family. I hired Pack and go moving to take some of the stress of relocation off my shoulders. They did that and more. They quoted me quite rationally and sent over 4 men on the moving day. They were all very experienced and efficient. Everything was taken care of with absolute precision. They packed and loaded everything in just over 3 hours. And they didn’t charge me for the extra 20 minutes. This company is very professional and I will sure hire them again if I have to relocate.

Good service, good mood

Usually I don’t like moving company people due their blabbermouth attitude. Yes, I have experienced badly earlier. Pack and go moving was different from them. No extra words, no extra commitment. I started liking them at the very first call for my relocation to NY from NJ. They were so precise and brief. The quotation was quite OK. They came on time, knew what to do and started doing that. I got all my stuffs safe and sound in my new place. Their billing was devoid of hidden cost which once again won my appreciation. Pack and go moving has truly changed my perception about movers.

They are capable of handling any move

There is no job too hard or complicated for Pack and go moving, they were polite, calm, and professional at all stages, and they didn’t complain with the changes in schedule and added items. This was all done for a reasonable price than many other moving companies I have got quotes from. Pack and go moving were also very flexible in terms of timing and they moved me at night time. This was very helpful with the need to move out of my office building as there were few other office in that building. I used them to move my office from Jersey City, NJ to Chicago, IL and I was very satisfied. Can gladly recommend them!

I was relaxed all through the move

My first contact with Pack and go moving was good our initial conversation helped me decide to choose this company as he (sales guy) explained everything in detail from costs to packing and size of vehicle. He visited my house for confirmation. On the day their teams were fantastic. They arrived on exact time, got on with the job and also had to carry my stuff to some distance for loading as they had to park the truck little far, all they did without complaint. They were very professional and gave me great peace of mind during the move. The cost was also very moderate with no hidden extras. I will be using them in my next move also.

Job well done

Excellent crew, worked as a team, no moaning just got on with the job, carried all my furniture carefully from my 4th floor flat through narrow stairway. Loaded everything in record time by overcoming many difficulties! Arrival at the new place was within the agreed time and moved everything in to the proper rooms. In that entire process no item was missing or dented. We were very pleased with the whole package provided by Pack and go moving. The crew is a credit to the company. Well done guys! We will defiantly recommend this company.

Very professional, very efficient

Now I have made my mind. Any move will be done by Pack and go moving. I cannot believe that service can be this efficient. I got the best deal, best troop and the best transporter while I was moving from NJ to OH. It seemed like I was watching a time-laps show. Every move was perfectly planned and without zero damage they completed my relocation process. They just won the game forever.

I am Thankful

Pack and go moving was a fresh experience of moving for me. While I was vexed of thinking which mover to choose, I found Pack and go moving during I was looking for a mover on the net. And they were very neat and clean in service. The touch of their expertise made my move a very smooth one. Almost zero dents of my stuffs made the whole experience an impressive one. I appreciate the service of Pack and go moving. The team was informative, helpful and very expert in their job and they didn’t let us complain even once all through the process. The initial visit was prompt and they were punctual on the moving day too. Their foreman guided the team and they really went extra mile to make a successful move. Stress free move

We are so happy for the nice moving service from Camden, NJ to Atlanta, GA. Pack and go moving really made the experience very smooth and hassle free. From the easy booking to the delivery of my valuables, their service was just unbeatable. They quoted the best price which can sometimes mean “you get what you paid for” but in this case we got more than our money was worth. Delightful experience

It was an excellent service! I would not hesitate to use this company again. Pack and go moving moved all the furniture and possessions from our old house at Paterson, NJ to an apartment in Concord, NH. After we contact for a quote, they immediately made a visit to my house and I was given a clear explanation of the moving plan and costs of the move and appropriate advice on the pre-move preparation. On the moving day they were on time, 3 very polite and helpful guys and their foreman arrived to do the move - they worked really hard and were very careful with all the possessions. No damage at all. I was delighted with the service. Most importantly there was no extra cost and it stands almost same with the initial quote.
