Extremely unprofessional

This was my first time being able to hire movers, so ai was so excited! I found this company and they quoted me a good deal so I put the deposit down and planned every detail with Ed on when I should have them pick my stuff up so it will be there roughly around the same time I would arrive in Texas. They have gave me a window of 1-4 On the day of pick up. They didn't show up until 10 pm! I kept calling the driver and he said oh, another 45 minutes for hours! Then when they did finally.show up, they dropped my boxes, one of which was ornaments, crushing them. After all this, I had to sit in my old place for 2 weeks without anything until I finally left just to get to Texas and them tell me it'll be another 14 to 21 days for my things to arrive because they went off the date I arrived in Texas not the date I had them pick my.things up! I was very clear about making.sure my things would be shipped as soon as it was picked up so I wouldn't have to sit in an empty house! Then when they finally brought my things, 95% of my.boxes were crushed, they lost a few things including a tv stand! That's a big thing to lose, and they actually left other people's items at my house. I have called to see what they can do for me and I was told flat out they will not do anything. I just have to file a.claim and wait 60 to 90 days. Not only did they charge me an extra 300 for having 4 more boxes than originally quoted, ridiculous! They refuse to make it right with me in any way! They said this is how it goes and there's nothing more we can do for you. DO NOT do business with these people!!!!!

I think that they underbid the estimate but I didn't have all my stuff packed so I can't really say for that. The look really professional the way that they came in and wrapped things. This is the company that does charge for making boxes. They explain a lot of the things they do for you but they don't go into everything, so there were a lot of hidden costs. It went from $1300 to $2800. They didn't inform me that they would need to get into the subdivision with a 50 ft trailer and that I would have to pay for a shuttle. My stuff was damaged and it was stuff that they had packed and wrapped. It's great that they looked professional, but the final result is how you get your stuff.

Beware of this company

I had a horrible time working with this company. I was quoted( Sammy was the representative) a sum of $1100 for my relocation with double checking my inventory list and me also providing the dimensions of all large furniture. There was only 2 other items that were added finally. It started out by fixing my appointment at 9 am on the moving day without any prior discussion. Sam had promised me that he would call me and fix the appointment which he never did. I then had to speak to mulitple people to get this sorted. He messaged me saying that you either accept or move another day. This was one day before i had to leave the city.However when the packer came he told me that he would tell me the total tally once he packs and moves into the truck. Once done, he said there has been a total of 100 cft extra which would cost me $1600 extra than the original quoted amount of $1100. Sammy was not reachable on the phone to discuss this further. Once they reached to my new destination, they started saying that the truck was long and would not pull up exactly in front of the house and demanded $300 more. The problem here is the people who come for loading and unloading are different vendors and do not belong to the relocationrus company. They are totally unaware of the dealings on what went on between me and the relocationrus company.Finally when i got hold of the manager Carl, he refused to discount and told me to pay. He told me that he would eventually call back and see if i can get a refund. As expected he never called back. I had to fight with the vendors who had no clue and with a company that changes representatives every time you call. Overall had a very bad experience and would not recommend this company for anyone in the future

Great job on the first part of the ...

We contracted with Relocation R Us for a 26-foot truck to move some of our stuff from CA to MT. They arrived as scheduled, and Justin from Sacramento and his colleagues were very courteous, professional, and careful with our belongings. But at the end of the day, the truck was full and we still had a lot more to move. We contacted the company and they were able to arrange for a second 26-foot the very next day, at a very reasonable price. Justin and his partner had their work cut out for them, as the second day was moving mostly heavy furniture, and it was pouring rain. They stuck with it well into the evening and didn't stop until the second truck was full. Awesome job! My only caveat is that we haven't yet experienced the unloading and delivery process. But if it's as good as the packing up was, I'll be very satisfied.

Great move. I have no complaints. Crew worked fast and took care of my belonging and the price was fair.

I lost things. I tried to call yesterday and talk to someone. We lost things during the move. There's about $1,000 worth of stuff that's broken.

CON MEN R US! THESE R BROKERS!!

THIS A BROKER!! (Make no mistake) THIS IS A BROKER!! The difference between a "salesman" and a "con man" is INTENT. I assure you these guys are con men. Don't be fooled into thinking they are salesmen. My original estimate was $3400 and my final price was $8400 this was after a $2000 supposed discount from the $10400 price that came from thin air. I was assured that the only people I would deal with on every level of the move would be "relocators r us" employees. This was a complete lie!!(I don't even know if they have real moving employees) I never met a "relocators r us" employee. The four aggressive guys that came to the house ( a day earlier than expected) to load the truck (A Budget rent a truck not a relocators r us truck as promised) controlled the actual pricing. It was all calculated by the four guys that were complete independent contractors. They stated my price was based on loading onto a budget truck. The budget truck will only hold 1380 cubic feet (see budget website) completely full. They loaded the truck twice and and it was not completely full either time. Then they told me my price was based on 3350 cubic feet which is impossible when the budget truck only holds 1380 cubic feet. I could go on and on about all the lies and stress that this company caused. I see so many "not recommended" reviews on yelp. Don't be fooled they are not recommended for a reason. (MORE LIES) Also do a little research their supposed office is a virtual office it's not even a real office. I can't believe I got sucked into doing business with this company but I guess that's how good these CON MEN REALLY ARE!!! Jonathan kaufman this could have gone way better if you would have followed up and did anything after the pick up as you promised.
