They gave one quote of $2,300 , then without the lawn mower, two complete bedroom sets and washer and dryer it went to $1,800. On the day of the move, they showed up and wanted to charge me 3,800 dollars. With the closing on my home the next day, we really had no choice. We had called and said we had extra boxes, but no where near the room the other stuff would have taken. The driver told us they only guess at the quote, the person I spoke to on the phone said if the quote is wrong it's their fault. I chose Royal after reading all the reviews - and I'm glad I did! I highly recommend them - they were total professionals from my first contact to completion of the job. I sent emails to five companies requesting quotes to move. Royal Moving was the first to reply (on a Sunday). They gave a fixed price quote which turned out to be the least expensive of all five. Royal responded promptly and clearly to my emails, even replying on weekends and evenings. On the day of the move, the movers arrived early - they were careful, efficient and friendly - a pleasure! Wow! I can't recommend these guys enough. They were friendly, professional, and just really good at their job. Booking a time was a breeze and the actual movers were enthusiastic and quick. In the past, I've had movers take their time. Not these guys! Our truck was extremely full and they were amazing at using the space efficiently. Absolutely Wonderful

These folks are absolutely wonderful in terms of customer service. Unfortunately, I can't speak to their abilities as movers, because my moving plans exploded a few days before I had scheduled Royal Moving to come (the previous tenants of the apartment we were supposed to move into didn't move out on time and left a bunch of damage, so we had to break the lease). I emailed Royal Moving to reschedule and they were completely understanding and sympathetic towards my situation. I was so relieved not to have to deal with an angry customer service rep or pay a cancellation fee. They were completely chill, and that was exactly what I needed after everything else that had happened with my attempted move. The next month came an they finally cam to pick up my move and move it. Had A Good Experience

Great Movers !! I had moved many times in recent years and every time there is a different story with the moving company, This time i had no issue, Royal Moving did a great job over all, they did charge me 100$ extra for elevator fee but i guess it is pretty standard, i had zero damages and it only took them 4 days to get my stuff to Orlando. I would defiantly use them again if ill need a long distance moving service. Read more

The worst experience of my moving life

It wasn't too bad they however they didn't deliver a couple of my things. Their estimate was not accurate because I was over square footage, and I saw them pack the stuff and they actually didn't pack it all the way to the top. Instead of stacking up, they packed out which obviously takes up more square footage and I had to pay like $700 more. The washing machine was all dented and busted in. I've moved several times before and this was the worst experience of my moving life. One of the movers didn't speak English at all so that made things a little difficult. Usually they give you an inventory and they name off the number of the box before you check it off, that was not done at all and after they expected me to sign it saying that I got all my stuff. My small items were moved poorly and ...

I would say it was okay, I mean it wasn't great. The way they handled my stuff, I don't think it was proper. Big ticket items were fine but small items were just dumped in boxes. I wasn't happy about the way those were handled. And the pricing was way off. Read more

Really bad experience, I still haven't ...

I would say it was very bad. I have still not got my stuff. I've been calling every day, and it's still not clear when I'm going to get my stuff. There's been no response. My family is suffering because we expected to get our stuff within 8 days and we haven't gotten it yet. Read more
