While the actual price was higher, I'm convinced the original estimate was too low due to my underestimating how much stuff I had to be packed, very much more than in the original estimate. (I really need to downsize!) Manny and Sam worked very hard both packing/unpacking . I consider them to be very professional.

Damage - No Response

I originally started working with Christian Overbi christian@mystatetostatemovers.com . All was good up until the delivery. The additional cost was most likely due to my inaccurate estimate of how much to move but it cost A LOT ($500) more. Manny came for the pickup in Philadelphia, the contents were delivered to Raleigh and upon delivery an arm of a was broken off and the wood splintered. After sending pictures, an estimate and several phone calls no one has gotten back to me. BE WARE of State to State Movers. They require cash or a certified check. Once paid you're essentially screwed. They will not get back to you if there is damage. They are not BBB rated.
