They were wonderful! They were real polite, nice and fun; we had a good time. I chose them because they had a better price than all the other companies. I most definitely recommend them. In terms of packing and handling my furniture, they went out of their way; my sofa was too big to fit in the elevator so they had to carry it down the steps in my old building and up the steps to my new building. Nothing was damaged either.

Very satisfied

They came and started moving me on Wednesday and they got about halfway through when one of the workers got hurt so they had to quit for the day and he came back with 4 more people and they were able to get me moved the rest of the way. While handling my stuff, nothing was broken or scratched. In regards to pricing the initial estimate was way cheaper, but I didn't have anything packed for them so it changed the final estimate.

I had three guys showed up, they were half a day late, they had something else come up and it was a little more pricey than I thought it was going to be buy all in all the guys worked hard and did a great job.

It was a good experience, we got it done on time and it came in a little bit under budget. The timing was good, their behavior was good. We had a couple of damage issues but nothing extraordinary. I would probably use them again.

Don't use this company

Don't use this company! It was terrible. Dresser legs broke off, furniture scratched up and a gun came up missing that we had to file a police report on. They gave me a flat rate, however when they got there I was charged an additional $150 for insurance (this was never mentioned until the truck came and moving began). We have moved several times and this was the one and only absolutely HORRIBLE moving experience ever!

DID NOT HONOR FIXED PRICE QUOTE

The Moving Crew claims on their website that they will give you a fixed price quote. Don't fall for it!!! Phil came out to our house and looked at all the items, and gave us a quote capped at $1,150. He said he will charge by the hour, if it turns out less than the cap. However, the day of moving, the mover made it clear, that our estimate is only for 6.5 hours, and that we would have to pay an additional $180 per hour after our time is up. They gave us the option of leaving some stuff behind, or to pay extra to complete the move. At that point you really don't have another choice than to pay up. Ours ended up being $340 over the estimate. They also scratched my wood floor from moving the refrigerator, broke a table top, and broke a water shut-off valve. I sent Phil an email asking for a refund of $500 for the overcharge and the repairs, and his only response was "Did you buy insurance?" I have not heard back from him since.

Do not stand behind their work. ...

The were on time, polite, and hard working. Unfortunately, they didn't bring nearly enough moving pads and didn't secure large items in the truck. As soon as the truck moved, I heard a large noise. When they unloaded, it was clear that they had damage to our stainless steel doors. Phil acknowledged the damage and promised to fix the doors or replace the refrigerator by filing a claim with his insurance. Today, he decided not to do either of those options and offer us about 34% of the replacement cost. He said "Small claims court will not help you."

Very professional

They were very professional, they were very good and they were on time within budget. They did a very decent job. At the end of the day they didn't put any scratches or anything. They moved it without wrapping, but they did it well.
