The Moving Guys

OVER CHARGED UNPROFESSIONALTHE MOVING ...

These guys are TERRIBABLE. I hired them to move me to a different city. The agreement via email was $1200 everything included. Not only did the guys scratch one of my walls which I never reported, but I was over charge $200 so I was charge $1400 for the move after I tipped them $200. Since I had already sent the check off the lady over the phone said they would mail me back my $200. Instead I was NEVER mailed back the money they owed me. In fact the moving guys LIED to the company and said the over charge of the $200 was for them as a tip. Why as a poor student would I tip them $200 in cash and then over write a $200 on a check? Anyways they still refuse to send me the money they owe me back claiming that the dude hooked up my dyer with a new plug and that's a $155 charge even though he offered to do that. So if you do use these guys and they offer to do something BE CAREFUL because you might get charged $155 for it (they are not doing it to be nice). Oh and he never even hooked up my washer so you would think they would compromise on plug that's equivalent to plugging in a VCR to a TV. Also the Moving Guys claimed that since this person claimed the extra $200 on the check as his as a tip (which was a lie) that this was a matter between me and that guy and they didn't owe me anything EVEN THOUGH the check was made out TO THE MOVING GUYS not person anonymous. Other than that they were definitely not the best movers I have ever had ALL MY SONS is the place to go they wrap all your furniture up nicely and I should have used them. ALL MY SONS has moved me 3 times but I thought I would take the chance on the MOVING GUYS which that was obviously a mistake. Read more
